Aloli
Aloli was glad to see some life in the tribe again. She was rather fond of the tribe as it was where her beloved sparkly soda prince had been raised. Where is family had grown up. It was also the place her own children grew up and she was hoping to see the life continue, so they could decide whether or not they wanted to stay. She was a bit worried, but her children had their own minds and if they felt like their calling was somewhere outside the tribe she wouldn’t stop them. After all she had left her own family to follow Rush. Those that lived in glass dens and everything.

Still it was a lovely night and she was about to go on duty. Aloli loved being a scout, getting to explore tribe lands and make sure her special people were safe. She wasn’t going to let the bobcat incident happen again. Now she wanted to get some moon watching on and maybe get a hug or nuzzle from one of her children. Speaking of which, nitri kinda wanted to come along with her today.
Nitri! Nitri… it’s time to be up and functioning.” She called out.

Voski looked to the stranger - no, Vafri, he had a name now - and Ripeti, then noticed movement out of the corner of his eye. Speaking of Ari, there he was now. “Elder Ari! Hello.” He greeted, giving a little wag of his tail. Unlike some, there was no reason for him to be nervous around the Elder, at ease in the presence of the other fox. Ari had been one of the foxes he talked to the most when he first arrived in Lunarie, and the older fox’s calm demeanor and wise words of advice had slowly but surely encouraged Voski to find his place within the tribe and adjust to his new life.

“J-just, uh, just a small problem.” Voski began, sitting down and curling his tail around himself.

Well now, it seemed they had begun to draw a bit of attention from the rest of the tribe. There even appeared to be some sort of dragon present, the creature hovering close and making its presence known to all, especially the visitor. Was this one of those... Oh, what were they called... Tribe Guardians? He had never seen one before, let alone this close. Vafri made eye contact with Hala, momentarily looking the guardian over with interest.

But alas, there were other matters to deal with.

With Ari’s sudden arrival, Vafri’s attention shifted over to the Elder. “Ah! You must be the tribe’s Elder. Good evening, sir.” He fully ignored Ripeti and his attempts at intimidation at this point, as well as the other eyes on him, intent on making a good first impression.

“I was out gathering this evening when I noticed this stranger - e-excuse me, um, Vafri - in our lands, well over the border.” Voski motioned to the Pixie, who gave a nod of his head. Voski didn’t hold any ill will towards the stranger, especially after hearing his side of the story, but didn’t know what to do at this point, if anything. “Would... you like to explain the situation, o-or should I?” He asked, glancing at Vafri as he asked the question.

“I told the story once, I suppose I can do it again.” And so Vafri explained the evening’s events a second time, laying out all of the details for the Elder. There was, after all, no reason for him to lie. Better to be truthful than dishonest. “I do apologize for crossing into your territory. I can assure you, it won’t happen again.” Wrapping up the story, he gave a low bow to pay respect to the other fox, as his father had once taught him. A smile was on his face as he rose, but his ears and wings gave a nervous twitch. He had been pretty unruffled by the whole situation, until the Elder arrived. There was very little that phased him. But Elders? Elders were powerful, dangerous even. They had an entire group of foxes at their disposal, and were not the sort of fox you wanted to get on the bad side of. “I’ll... be out of your hair in no time at all, just say the word.”

User Image Nuishan had kept her distance from the rumbling of activity, keen on getting a few more minutes of alone time to recharge before she exposed herself to the possibility of interaction. A younger Nuishan likely would have delighted in the action, and a part of her still did, but she was far more tired than she had been when young. Far too exhausted to throw herself into the fray without a moment to compose herself.

The tribe had been quiet for a long time, and at first, that was a frustrating thing. Sometimes it still was, especially when she thought of her missing children and lost friends. Life had not been kind to Nuishan, but it also had bared its teeth at many within Lunarie. In the pits of her despair and grief she had even considered the thought that, maybe, Lunarie was cursed. It was a silly thought that had lifted as she came to terms with her own tragedies, but Nuishan sometimes uttered the thought as a morbid joke.

    Hey, it helped.

She rolled herself upright from her hiding spot, having claimed the upper branches of a tree to fully mask herself from the tribe around her as she recharged. She had meant to find Hail later and check in on her daughter-in-law - even if it still stung to reopen that wound. She had meant to, but that was until she spotted one of her youngest children wandering the tribe grounds as if they were looking for something or someone.

She dropped down and padded towards Rajiv, clearing her throat once she was close enough. "You look lost," she greeted, brushing against his side. Oh? Had he caught something? She pulled back and eyed the rabbit, tail flicking in acknowledgment. Her stomach growled in a low protest, reminding herself she had yet to eat. Oops.

User Image Virus had easily settled within the cycle of the tribe without issue or complaint, but it had been easy for him, as he had been born into the tribe and known no other life. That didn't mean he hadn't noticed Kelda's struggle at first to slowly ease into the nocturnal ritual of Lunarie, but it had made him appreciate her even more. He could see the love she had for him, and it made him want to return it two-fold. He cherished every moment with her, holding it tight to his heart and attentively tuning himself to her every need and desire. He loved her more than he could express into words or song, although he certainly tried. Life with Kelda was rewarding in all ways, even on the tough days - not like they had many of those, though.

So when she squirmed and moved away for a moment he found himself rousing awake to check she was alright, one eye peeking open to spot her tending to her hair. 'Cute,' he thought, although that was often a lingering sentiment he had towards her. His eye snapped shut once Kelda returned to his side and nuzzled against him. He lifted an arm and pulled her closer, pressing his muzzle against hers with a low sigh.

    This was the life.

"If I told you I was awake would you still stay here a bit longer?" He murmured against her cheek, curling his tail around her loosely. Oh, he definitely could hear something going on outside, but... it could wait.

User Image Normally, Padma was a light sleeper; one to snap awake and find himself at the throat of whatever commotion found itself within the tribe. The thing was, Padma was also not used to the warmth against his side, which had done plenty to soothe the normally jumpy sleeper into an unmoving blob. He registered the heat shift and adjust beside him, even going as far as to drape itself over his back and extend its comfort further like a weighted blanket - he just couldn't get himself to actually muster an eye open.

    Maybe that was fine.

He squirmed further under the warmth across his spine, nuzzling into... feathers? Oh. Oh. He flinched awake, eyes still shut but ears twitching and body tightening as he inhaled slowly. Chicory. That knot in his stomach that formed whenever the 'phim was close twisted nervously, doing little to deter himself from gently pulling himself against Chicory's side.

The 'phim was a new member, similar to Padma but of different origins. Padma was still in the process of training and hadn't gotten their modifications yet, and neither had Chicory. That's how new the two of them were, but they had found themselves into the vicinity of one another quickly. Things had just sort of slid into place, somewhere, and Padma had found himself finding excuses to find the 'phim whenever he could. How could anyone blame him? Chicory was all the good things bundled into one; lively, sweet, endearing.... hell, he even smelled amazing. His scent was addicting, dragging Padma's heart and stomach into loops whenever he caught it.

Yeah, he was utterly and totally smitten with the 'phim. His mother had teased him lightly for it but done her best to encourage the crush, which evidently had led him to.... this. Padma hadn't confessed verbally, but a fight nights back he had closed the gap between them and kissed the 'phim during one of their moonlit walks. He had been terrified, for once in his life, but- it had worked out. Nothing further had occurred aside from the two gently testing the boundaries of their unsaid relationship by snuggling closer and closer when sleeping, but Padma was in the process of gathering his courage for a second time and ask the male to formally date him.

He just needed to recover from the last bold move he had pulled.

"Chicory," he grumbled softly, nosing the 'phims wing closer. "You're hearing that too, right?"
