Thaddeus scoffed at Deathstroke seemingly knowing who he was. His mind raced back to his tenures of being a Titan with him and his quarrel of wanting to squash the Teen Titans himself."Some of us are thankful to even still have a sane head after all that Velocity 9 you kept giving me to use" He glared over at Vandal Savage as he said that as the same man was responsible for creating such a nasty speed stimulating steroid. Thaddeus had no intent of returning back to his insane days. He would give Impulse a run for his money in that category if that happened ever again."Worry not about me losing my head. I no longer have the Thawnes nor the Allen's around me to constantly feud with and I intend to keep it that way"
Arrogance rang out in the tone, but it was the truth. He was dragged to his grave because of their feuding, having to be so hell bent on crushing the Allen's and for what? Just for some inverse color swapped maniac to take their place? It was stupid, but Thaddeus still had a role to play. He was the current "Flash" after all. There were now monuments of himself in the Museum from doing the things that the latest Flash could no longer do since he vanished just as fast as he ran. And just like the Flash, Thaddeus was gone since everything was decided. The "Red Blur" was seen in Coast City, so he would head there first.

The Joker frowned at the sudden disregard the good looking glowstick had given him. The madman shot one last glare at the man before standing up right and tucked his knife dutifully into his coat pocket and glanced at his companions who would aid in his passage through slaughter swap.
"Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, let's go have some fun!" The Joker cackled as he left the grand hall.

Vandal watched as the majority of the villains in the room left. They didn't seem to have any further questions or complaints, and were more than happy to just leave. Vandal, however, was not. But before he could do much about his doubt that this whole "plan" was going to work.... ...their host left. The seed of doubt Vandal had been feeling suddenly grew into stone. None of the villains had been introduced to one another, and given that the majority of those in the room were not well known villains... well that left a lot of strangers. They had not been given each others strengths and weaknesses... something that was needed to form a better means of working with one another if they would be working as a team. Extremely few voiced where they were going to go... which meant that the majority could end up in the main location and leave only two people in Metropolis to fight Kryptonians and Amazons... or something equally as uncoordinated and unplanned. That was at least two strikes as far as Vandal was concerned. Then there was the fact that he knew extremely little about the Atlantean army, their weapons, technology, or ANYTHING that would count as helpful. So far the only thing he knew was that they had sorcerers, a queen, a small army to be in the sewers of Metropolis, the greater part of the army in the main strike zone, they had access to kryptonite.... and the inside of this room. He could lead what little army would be in Metropolis, but he wasn't about to try it with a race he knew nothing about, how they responded to a human commanding them, or how they were trained to fight. That was two more strikes. And then there was the fact that he had no clue as to why he had been brought here. It seemed as though he were just brought here to hear about what was going to happen, then dropped back off at one of the areas to fend for himself. See what sort of problems he'd be faces with to give himself a little bit of a head start to prepare. A group that only wanted to cause trouble... some who really did want to rule the world... a random surprise to see who would end up where... No. He wasn't doing this. He wasn't going to just run headfirst into a fight like the rest of them were. He had no powers, as he was sure most of them had... which would make sense for them to just happily dive right into things... and he was far more strategic to just go throwing bombs and gassing chunks of the city. But... no one had addressed him specifically about this fight, told him why he had been called here specifically other than he had been curious, or was asked to lead part of the army or anything that was to his strength. Their host just dismissed them all and then left himself. Fine. No reason he shouldn't do the same. Vandal sighed deeply, then stood from his chair. Then spoke for the first time since he'd come here. "Well. Since this seems to be it for the meeting..." he began, straightening out his jacket. "I believe I'll be taking my leave as well. Might as well move my more irreplaceable belongings OUT of Metropolis before they're destroyed." he said. His voice was calm, but the irritation he felt clung to his tone. "I'm not about to get caught in the middle of something I still feel is only half-organized. And I'm not about to stick myself in the middle of a fight with Amazons, Kryptonians, and other heroes with nothing but my knives, and nothing to gain other than a small continent years down the road."_______________________________[ LOCATION ]_ Meeting Room:Preparing to leave.___________________________[ COMPANY ]_ No one:...._______________________[ STATUS ]_ Irritated:This has been interesting, but he's not convinced it's worth his time or effort.___________________[ OOC ]_ Alright, since it looks like things have started, I'm just going to move Vandal to Metropolis in the next post unless anyone wants to talk to him before I have him exit._____________[ QUOTE ]_ "Time is something I have plenty of, and I am not adverse to the taste of human flesh."

Shalyra the Hax0r ❝ The n00bs are better off being volunteer meat shields than trying to do something that makes them meat shields in the first place. Makes my life so much easier.❞ Shalyra was confused. She was not used to such a feeling and it pissed her off. What was she supposed to do? Pick a spot and attack and that was even if she decided to anything at all! Were all the villains that stupid as to not even question where they should head off too? She hoped they would all converge in a single area with a few stragglers going to the other areas. They would be slaughtered and a few less sheep would be around to get in the way.
Shalyra paced the floor as she waited for transportation and found herself next to Vandal Savage, the only other villain who seemed to be as doubtful as she was. She glanced at the man's face. She could tell by his posture he was probably having similar thoughts. She thought about the range of topics she could bring up and settled on what she'd been thinking of.
"What do you think constitutes a villain's role in this world of ours?"
It was a curious question for sure but she wanted to know what Vandal had truly thought about how...sheep like the villains were.

Vandal had made it to the hallway when he noticed movement next to him. It was the woman who had been one of the very few people to actually bring up intelligent points during the meeting. He figured that she was simply walking down the hall to leave as well. He wasn't exactly sure where he was going, but they had been told the sorcerers would send them back if they didn't have transportation, and that's who he was going to find. ...while taking in everything he could about his surroundings, of course. Might as well make a mental note in case he ever came back here again. Then he heard the woman ask him a question. An interesting way to start up a conversation, given the situation at the moment. And one that was up for debate. "That depends on what you would consider a "villain" to be." he replied as he continued walking down the hall. "I grew up during a time when the concept of good and evil was nonexistent. There was only the weak, and the strong. The strongest either wiped out the weak, or put them in their place. As time went on, classifications and titles began to become more complicated. Still a battle of weak and strong, but the concept of good and evil came into play. The strong gain their strength through honorable means... they're good. If they gain their strength through unhonorable means, they're tossed into the evil category." he continued. "Same for the weak. If they decide to try and survive in a way that society would deem "bad", they become villains as well."Then he paused a moment and looked about the hall. He had a feeling that he was getting closer, and he wanted to get to Metropolis before the blasted power houses destroyed something that he couldn't replace. But... there was a nice green glow coming from down the hall beside him. If it was Kryptonite... he might as well help himself. Just in case. So he shifted directions and continued speaking. "If you're referring to the modern era... what's happening now... well it continues to grow complicated. And yet remains such a simple idea. The strong versus the weak. But now there are humans, those with powers, those with technology, aliens... you understand. Simply a constant battle of the strong versus the weak. Those who live "good" lives versus those who society deems does not. Those who have a vision for the world or their lives.... and those who simply don't care. Those who have a reason for the things that they do... and those who do things simply to do them." He continued. "Right now... I'd say it's just another one of those times where the strong wipe out the weak. Those who have a plan versus those who just don't care."Personally... he didn't care if half of these villains were wiped out in the coming fight. If they were ignorant enough to just leap into a battle head first with no direction.... well they deserved to be eliminated by the strong. _______________________________[ LOCATION ]_ Hallway:Preparing to leave.___________________________[ COMPANY ]_ Shalyra:Walking with him, asked him a question._______________________[ STATUS ]_ Less irritated:Calming down now that someone is actually addressing him with a worth while purpose.___________________[ OOC ]_ Sorry, we're getting snow and ice up this way, so it's a little harder for me to get internet this weekend. Deathstroke aka Slade Wilson
Slade thought about leaving after the joker's insult though was surprised when the maniac decided to head off so non chalantly after the insult. So instead he took the moment to look at the remaining villains and saw that the young poorly dressed girl and Vandal Savage still had there doubts. Which caused him to come over and listen in on their conversation. Which seemed to be turning into a philosophical debate of right and wrong and good and evil.
Slade listened to Vandal's response and couldn't help but nod in agreement. Before speaking up his own little bit. "To be honest with you I have never considered myself a villain just a professional. I get paid to do a job and it gets done. No different than any other spy or assassin in this world. However I have chosen to take this job for 2 reasons and I think would agree with them." Slade then held out a small datapad that showed some of the new codenames of the new hero's. "The next generation seems to be younger yet have all the abilities of their older generation. This poses an interesting aspect as they lack experience to use such power making them vulnerable to arrogance. However even still their are new heroes that have yet been seen in combat with such an offensive as this it will be an opportune time to analyze them and ascertain weaknesses and flaws. So as to be better prepared in the future." He then slipped the datapad back into his pocket before continuing.
"Secondly we were not offered money or compensation for this assignment. We were offered a promise of power. Something I will hold to them whether we win or fail. I mean how often can it be said that one can be owed a favor from a yellow lantern, a leader of atlantis, and a psychopath." Slade once again brought up his communicator. "Even if this mission fails there is much to be gained in just simply participating." Slade then gave a respectful nod to his fellow villains. "Speaking of which I must head off to prepare so as to make sure the maniac doesn't do anything stupid. Good bye Mr. Savage." He said giving more attention to him only because he knew of him more however did give a quick look over to the woman as well. Before pressing the button on the communicator and being teleported off to his safe house and move on to Gotham. ~Exit~ (Feel free to respond anything Slade did I will still read what you guys put and keep it for reference should you guys run into him again.)

Listening in on the conversation, R'avin patiently waited with his brutish exterior changed into a friendly yet psychotic coating of the Joker's appearance. He watched rather gleefully as Deathstroke and Savage spoke to the villain. He himself did not entirely view himself as a villain, yet wanted to understand more about these people who seemed to remind him more of his own people of Mars than the others who were innocent, forgiving, and that required protection. He also noticed Black Adam having appeared with Agrona, while they went to Metropolis, he had chosen to return back to Gotham, it was still safer there for the time being, given that the Joker was also there, he preferred the entertainment and knew that the comedy would write itself there. Personally, he was pleased that the Joker enjoyed his version of himself, then again, he was an egotist, but to be a convincing Joker? One would have to be somewhat insane to be capable of doing so, and R'avin just happened to be with his bloodlust from time to time. He wondered how much fun it would be to add to this crazed clown's list of felonies while it had nothing to even do with him. Giving one brief wave to the few remaining villains and the princess of Atlantis, he disappeared with the magic, onto Slaughter Swamp, as he ensured nothing of him were to be left behind.

Vandal turned towards Deathstroke as he joined in the conversation. The man had a valid point... this would be an excellent opportunity to see the new heroes abilities in action. See their strengths and weaknesses first hand, as well as the other villains. And... if he did participate, he would have more reason to insist on favors from the Atlanteans later on. These were probably the ONLY profitable outcome of this whole thing... but... at least it was something. As Deathstroke began to leave, Savage addressed him. "Should you come out of this event unscathed, I may take you up on your offer after the dust has settled." he said, then let the assassin go. Then he turned towards the young woman as well. "I am going to see about gathering some... resources while I am here. I'm more concerned about a few of my belongings in Metropolis, so I will be heading there once I can find the transportation we were promised. After I see about gaining a few weapons and kryptonite at the very least. While the kryptonians may be occupied with the others, I will not take my chances, and I will not miss the opportunity to obtain such a hard to find stone." he said, then continued walking down the hall. "You're more than welcome to join me, if you wish. But I will not hold you up if you need to be leaving quickly as well." he added. "I.... am in no hurry."And he wasn't... He WAS in a hurry to move his belongings, but they were well inside the city. At least, he figured the fight would be in a less populated area, which would leave his home safe for now. Until then, he'd let the pawns water down the playing field. _______________________________[ LOCATION ]_ Hallway:Preparing to leave and find kryptonite and weapons.___________________________[ COMPANY ]_ Shalyra:Walking with him, asked him a question._______________________[ STATUS ]_ Calmed down:Feeling a little more interested in joining the fight... seeing that there is at least a few things to be gained for himself down the road..___________________[ OOC ]_ Alright, should be able to check on things once a day again. I'll be finishing up this conversation, grabbing some Atlantean "gifts", and heading out to metropolis as soon as I can._____________[ QUOTE ]_ "Time is something I have plenty of, and I am not adverse to the taste of human flesh."

Shalyra the Hax0r ❝ The n00bs are better off being volunteer meat shields than trying to do something that makes them meat shields in the first place. Makes my life so much easier.❞ Shalyra listened to Vandal agreeing with him and she even agreed with Slade. Her technology could only take her so far and as far as it went it couldn't judge the actions, the powers or the reactions as a real person could. As she could. "I shall join you to retrieve some weapons and kryptonite." Not that she needed weapons. She had plenty of her own but the whole point of joining this meeting was to see technology the Alantean's had and if their weapons were of good quality technology she had no qualms about taking the yellow lantern up on his offer to them. As for the Kyrpotnite...well she would be avoiding metropolis but one could never be over prepared when it came to such things. If a kryptonian showed up, she would be prepared. Plus it would advantageous to see if she could create a weapon using the kryptonite as it's power source or even high powered laser beam that shot a kryptonite properties with in it. There were several kinks with that plan however and she didn't have time nor equipment to even begin with such a thing. Still it was an idea worth checking into, once she had a significant piece of the main material she needed for it. Shalyra continued with Vandal her mind kept returning to the weapon she was slowly planning. She was more than use to it though it did strike her annoying when it wouldn't leave her alone when she was clearly attempting do other things. She had to go to her lab and pack up herself. If the city was to be invaded and even though her lab was well hidden she wouldn't afford to lose her equipment. Some of it was neigh irreplaceable. "I am not either. In a hurry that is." She finally responded back with her usual terrible social skill when her mind was latched onto a problem or a game for that matter. innocent little Rosie [occ: Sorry about the wait, I had military drill and could hardly think or concentrate during that time]

Vandal nodded and continued making his way down through the hall. The closer he came to the door way, the brighter the light from inside seemed to become. "Heading to Metropolis as well?" he asked as they neared the room. Fair assumption, if she was in no hurry, and coming to collect kryptonite as well. When they neared the door, Vandal didn't bother to knock or ask permission to enter. The glow, he suspected was from Kryptonite. And he had been right. The room was filled with chunks that had been mined and set out for, what he assumed was anyone to use if they asked for it. And despite them being in what he assumed was the Atlantean palace, there were little to no guards around. He understood that the guards were needed elsewhere but... having a gathering of villains and no one to make sure nothing was stolen... rather trusting, weren't they? Along with the Kryptonite inside, there were a few other items. Blades, shields, weapons... this had to be where the villains were supposed to acquire the kryptonite or anything else they wanted. It didn't seem to be much... but it seemed to be what they were going to be allowed to have. Without wandering throughout the castle, of course. There would likely be MUCH more to find if you looked around. But, Vandal suspected what guards were around were ordered to only let the guests venture down to this room. All of the other halls had been closed off. Oh well... Vandal was more interested in the kryptonite anyway. And to his luck the mined chunks were large enough to forge what he wanted. Now if they only had some led around, he'd be set for at least one good weapon. Three if he was able to get to his home before anything happened to it. _______________________________[ LOCATION ]_ Hallway:Preparing to leave and find kryptonite and weapons.___________________________[ COMPANY ]_ Shalyra:Walking with him._______________________[ STATUS ]_ At Ease:....___________________[ OOC ]_ ...._____________[ QUOTE ]_ "Time is something I have plenty of, and I am not adverse to the taste of human flesh."

Shalyra the Hax0r ❝ The n00bs are better off being volunteer meat shields than trying to do something that makes them meat shields in the first place. Makes my life so much easier.❞ Shalyra shook her head slowly at Vandal's question, "I have a bit of business in Gotham I need to take care of unfortunately." The inventor eyed the items around the room, in particular she noticed a particular piece of weaponry that went right up her alley. She walked over to it and lifted the sleek looking gun. She examined it from all angles, Siri analyzing all the components making up the weapon and the destructive effect it had. She looked please to find such a gem stone even though it had several kinks that needed to be ironed out. She picked out a leg holster from the pile sitting to the side and buckled it to her left leg. Sliding the weapon into the holster she moved on to the kryptonite, stowing several large pieces away in her trench coat pocket. She turned to Vandal Savage. "I think I shall take my leave now. Perhaps we can get together again and discuss the semantics of our previous topic. It would be an interesting subject to expand upon." She slipped out the door and after finding someone to take her to the landing point, found herself in the swamps. Something she wasn't very happy about. She had wanted inside the city rather than outside where she was more exposed and practically useless with the lack of technology. [exit to swamps gotham] [OCC: Sorry about that. I seriously didn't expect my week to be so busy and I had a second drill this month which killed any and all plans.]

Vandal watched as the woman left, then turned his attention towards the kryptonite sitting on the table before him. Now that he had no one accompanying him, he might as well prepare to head back to Metropolis himself. What was left of it anyway. Kryptonians tended to make a mess. Amazons as well. There was sure to be at least a few buildings demolished by the time he returned to Metropolis. If he was lucky, it wouldn't be his. Not yet anyway... once he had what he needed, Metropolis could burn for all he cared. For now... he needed to gather what he could while he could. The woman had the right idea. If the weaponry was here for the taking, he might as well help himself. Same for the Kryptonite.... but first he would need to find something to carry it all in. He wanted to arrive in Metropolis inconspicuously. And if he arrived there the same as he had here... then he should simply appear in Metropolis with little to no warning. Though, if he had weapons hanging off of him... that would be a bit noticable. So he needed something where he'd be able to carry everything in a way that it was hidden from view. A bag perhaps... be a bit akward to carry, but it would do until he could get home where he had better ways of carrying everything. The Kryptonite though... he would need something to keep that in. He had led in Metropolis, but he needed... something better for that. If he found the size and shape of kryptonite that he needed, then he had something very specific in mind. So... Vandal made his way around the room. Gathering a few chunks of kryptonite in his arms, examining the ones that were about the size of a blade... or could be cut down into the shape of one. A shield... a sword... an Atlantean gun... other interesting looking items. And finally something to carry it all in. As he made his way around the room, he came upon another door. With no one around still to supervise him, Vandal decided to do a little bit of exploring. He was in no hurry to get back to Metropolis, and it would be foolish to rush out if there were things to be gained here. Just a little bit of exploring.... and then he would leave. {{ EXIT to Metropolis }} _______________________________[ LOCATION ]_ Exploring:Preparing to leave, and gathering weapons, kryptonite, and various other items.___________________________[ COMPANY ]_ No One:alone._______________________[ STATUS ]_ At Ease:In no hurry to return, and in the middle of exploring and collecting whatever he can.___________________[ OOC ]_ Alright, now that I'm not waiting on someone, I'll move Vandal out of this thread. It would be like him to take whatever he thought would be hard to come by outside of Atlantas._____________[ QUOTE ]_ "Time is something I have plenty of, and I am not adverse to the taste of human flesh."
