The world is a dangerous place, and it only gets deadlier everyday. Vampires, demons, strange beings from other planets. In a world where the streets are the stalking ground for all manner of horrible monsters and it's never safe to go out at night, what is a normal human being to do? How could the human race possibly fight back against such odds? Well one organization has found an answer...fight fire with fire.

The G.H.A, Global Human Alliance, a secret multinational organization dedicated to protecting the human race against meta-humans and supernatural beings at any means necessary, has discovered a secret weapon that could be harnessed to fight off even the deadliest of paranormal beings....zombies. Yes through means that remain highly classified the G.H.A. has found a way to actually tame and control the feral hunger of the undead, turning them into operatives under their control. Stronger, faster, and far more durable than any human could hope to be, the tamed zombies proved to be the best soldiers the G.H.A could hope for, and today these zombies fight in a secret war against the forces of darkness that threaten to destroy all humanity....oh and they're all chicks....

Rules

⒈ Swearing is okay, in fact I encourage misspelling swear words on purpose to get passed censors

⒉ This is a semi literate rp. We'd like you to maintain some sort of quality to your rping, but we're not going to hound you for it unless its something really bad.

⒊ Crap spelling is fine, if someone really takes the time to correct your spelling, then obviously they understood what you said so it can't be that bad.

⒋ Romance is fine

⒌ This rp is set in the same universe as Young Guardian Corps, so expect references and plenty of cross overs.

6. Your character does not technically have to be a girl, but the senior members of the Squad have made it a rule that any male members must dress in drag when on mission in order to keep up the "Zombie Girl" theme. Failure to comply with this rule will be met with excessive hazing.

7. I will be the main person looking over this rp, so listen to what I say and if you intend to add something significant to the story just run it by me first. Most of the time I'll be fine with it.

8. PM me your profile titled "zombie girl" so that I know what rp your applying for.

9.Please put your picture and a different color for your posts to make them more distinct. You don't have to make a huge elaborate post layout, but something other than a block of grey text (note a block of grey text PLUS a picture is perfectly fine)

⒑ No god modding (unless for plot purposes). This means no auto hitting, no controlling other people's characters, no invincibility, no knowing things your character logically shouldn't (meta gaming).

11. (why eleven? because I like to go one step beyond) have fun.

12. You are allowed up to two characters to begin with. If you prove to be able to handle it I'll allow you to make another character later if you so desire

13. Please do something to distinguish between when your character is speaking and when they are thinking to themselves. The universal way for this is to use Bold for everything spoken out loud by your character, and Italics for what they're thinking, but as long as they are distinct I will allow you to do what you want.

14. Do not start posting until your profile has been accepted by me.

Rules

Zombies, also commonly refereed to as "the undead", "infected", and "walkers", are the reanimated corpses of sentient beings. Known for their decaying flesh and endless hunger for flesh, zombies are a particularly infamous threat to humanity, and a popular subject in modern culture. Though they come in various shapes and sizes, several things remain consistent across the board, their body's have been forever warped by the effects of death. Most if not all bodily functions have completely shut down, removing the need to eat, breath, or sleep. They have almost limitless stamina, and suffer from something called the "unlimiter effect", where because of the body's natural restrains and limiters shutting down a zombie constantly utilizes it's body's full potential, making them stronger, faster, and more endurable than their living counterparts. Zombies also all share an insatiable hunger for mortal flesh, which drives them to attack any living thing around them. Even otherwise intelligent and reasonable zombies are victim to this hunger, and if they go to long without feeding they begin to loose their sanity and become just as feral as their more mindless cousins.

Zombies are classified into three different categories based on how they where created and commonly shared traits, and the G.H.A. classifies a zombie's potential usefulness depending on what category the fall into. All zombies, regardless of category, are injected with special drugs and chemicals to help suppress their hunger, along with devices implanted in their skulls that allow G.H.A. officials to completely shut down their brains at will, used as a last resort in case one goes feral.

Plague Zombies

Commonly refereed to as "infected", Plague Zombies are undead born through the spread of a disease or virus. These zombies are characteristically slow, uncoordinated, and have almost know higher brain function aside from spotting and pursuing potential prey. Even smarter plague zombies only posses intelligence comparable to animals, though this means they can be tamed and trained as such should their hunger be successfully restrained. Plague zombies are also incredibly durable, their body's capable of sustaining massive damage without flinching, and the only way to kill a plauge zombie is to destroy the brain.

Necro Zombies
Necro Zombies are undead raised through the black art of Necromancy. These zombies are often magically imbued with additional power, making them stronger than they originally where in life, and are generally much smarter than Plague Zombies, usually possessing the same intellegence as their living counterpart. Some zombies are even granted magical powers depending on the spell or ritual used to raise them. Necro Zombies however despite their increased power and intelligence, are susceptible to both holy and necrotic magic, and are usually magically bound into the servitude of the necromancer who raised them, their life often linked to their summoner's energy. However sometimes if a ritual is performed incorrectly, or the zombie in question is particularly strong willed, a Necro Zombie can break free of their necromancer's control and gain independence, however doing so also severs their link to their summoner's energy, forcing them to consume mortal flesh in order to maintain enough energy to keep themselves risen and stave off insanity.

Ritual Zombies
Ritual Zombies are the most widely varies form of undead. This is because the means to create zombies of this category exist in many different forms of magic and mysticism, including anything from Haitian Voodoo, to Asian spiritualism. The common link of these zombies is that they are often created through complex rituals and their continued exist is tied to some sort of object, which is closely safeguarded either by the zombie or it's keeper. Ritual Zombies are very intelligent compared to others, maintaining not just their full intellect from their former selves, but their personality as well. Zombies born from rituals are very human like in behavior, and are the most resistant to the hunger for flesh, being able to resist their urges much longer than other types of zombie. They are often enslaved by their creators, but this is through more conventional means, usually through sheer force or by exploiting their vulnerable soul items to ensure their obedience.

Name: Vera Wight (and Salomon)
Code Name: Rotting Snake
Age: forever 21
Race: Human
Type of Zombie" Necro
Powers/Special Skills: Death's Grip: Vera is able to rapidly break down and rot away things she touches with her skeletal left hand, this ability can be deactivated at will, allowing her to handle things normally.

Necrotic Rejuvenation: Salomon can use his powerful necromancy to regenerate any wounds Vera takes, though he isn't capable of healing wounds or decomposing that have occurred before he revived her, thus why she still has many open wounds across her body.

Wraith Fire: Salomon is capable of breathing powerful blue/purple flames that eat through organic matter just like regular fire, but instead of heat give off a deathly cold sensation, leaving deadly frostbite in place of burns.
Weapons: Vera is skilled at using Salomon himself as a living weapon, acting as anything from a whip, to a spear, to even a flame thrower.
Bio: Vera Wight was originally a rising actress in Hollywood and professional lounge singer. She played at famous venues and hotels all over the west coast, and started to earn acclaim for her titular roles in movies like "Gone with the Fin" and "Casablondy". However her life took a very abrupt turn for the worse when she ended up beating out a very well known actress for the lead role in the movie "Citizen Jane". Unbeknownst to her the actress in question had several connections to the mafia, and was well known for abusing these connections to advance her career. On the day of their first shooting a group of mafia goons disguised as camera men stormed the set of the movie and gunned her down in cold blood, dragging her body off and bribing the other actors and crew members to keep their silence. Five days later Vera's body was found strung in front of the Silver Globe Theatre, her throat slit and her mouth sewn shut as an example to anyone who would cross the family again.

Vera's body was eventually recovered and put to rest and for a time it seemed like this would be the end of her unhappy tale. However fortune seemed to look down fondly on her yet, as a few years later, the cemetery she resided in just happened to be the same one the Wraith Serpent Salomon was combing through to find a new undead host. Salomon was a parasite, one that would inhabit a dead body and bring it back to life, using it's body as a conduit for his power, as well as a vessel to help him feed. Vera turned out to be the perfect candidate for that vessel. It wasn't anything Salomon could explain logically, after all she was just a normal human woman, no powers, no particularly special traits (none that he could discern from her corpse atleast) though he felt an odd resonance within her, something that just felt right. So acting on his instincts he entered her body through the large hole in her head, and used his necrotic magic to breath life back into her. While originally Vera was nothing more than a slave to Salomon's will, now a days she has much more free will, as the two have grown to become more partners and friends than slave and master. Vera and Salomon ended up joining the Zombie Girl Squadron when they had been captured one night by a group of G.H.A agents. While Salomon recents their forced servitude and secretly plots to overthrow the organization, Vera enjoys being able to play, in her eyes, a hero of justice, and is considered the defacto leader of the group due to her enthusiasm and level headedness.
Personality: Vera for the most part is a very kind and inviting individual. She keeps a calm, carefree attitude about her, and is always seems to know what to say even when things get difficult. Her years of acting experience make her very good at reading people and adjusting her own persona to better fit the situation, as has been known to act her way out of many a perilous situation. Vera doesn't struggle with the hunger as much as most other zombies do, and doesn't usually get any cravings for flesh. However she does keep her mouth particially sewn shut (keeping it the threads loose enough for her to talk) as a show of good faith between her and humans. Vera is also a known Vitaphiliac, meaning she's romantically and sexually attracted to living people, which is considered rather taboo amongst other zombies, in the same way Necrophilia is considered taboo amongst living humans.

Salomon for the most part has adopted much of Vera's more positive personality traits over their time together, being generally polite and sympathetic. Though he is notably more aggressive and quicker to anger, not afraid to use brutal methods and say whatever needs to be said to get his way. Strangely of the two it is Salomon who suffers from the typical hunger that usually afflicts Zombies. While it still exists in Vera, Salomon's presence and constant flow of necrotic energy diminishes greatly. However Salomon himself suffers from a near insatiable hunger, and is almost always hungry. Thankfully Salomon isn't as particular as Vera, and can actually survive eating anything, not just fresh flesh. Because of the symbiotic relationship between Salomon and Vera, the nutrients and energy either one eats are shared between them, and as such typically has Vera eat constantly as well to keep his own hunger down, as such Vera is often seen eating regular human food even though it does nothing for her. Unfortunately due to her zombie body the only time Vera benefits from this symbiotic relationship is when Salomon eats human flesh, and thankfully whenever Vera gets hungry Salomon tends to eat for her, in order to spare her conscious.

Name: Emma Shrilinger

Code Name: Pinky

Age: 123

Race: Demon

Type of Zombie" Ritual

Powers/Special Skills: Manipulation of Fire

Weapons: Special Katana made of a fire resistant metal and a machine gun

Bio: Emma was born in the underworld, brought into this world by her father Augustus Shrilinger and mother Naomi Shrilinger. However, Emma was born as the equivalent of an albino human. Emma was supposed to have red hair, as is her family trait but instead she was born with pink hair. Albinos are considered disgusting in the underground world and thus, as a child demon, Emma was picked on and made fun of. Nobody really took her seriously, even when she proved to be an excellent Fire Wielder. Feeling ashamed of Emma, her parents sent her to the world above to try to get her to wreck havoc to compensate for her albino attributes.

However, it was obvious that they just wanted to get rid of her and Emma simply accepted that truth. She didnt belong in the underworld and had no inclination to be evil. She was actually quite humble as a living demon. She traveled the world and got to know different cultures while at the same time showing off her Fire abilities. One tribe even considered her a god. However, Emma was bringing her family a bad reputation. They were disgusted that she wasnt wrecking havoc and chaos and plotted to have her murdered.

They succeeded and Emma died at the mere age of 123. Horrified, the tribe that considered her a god performed a complex ritual to have her revived. Little did they know that she would come back with an unquenchable hunger for flesh. Emma ended up eating the whole tribe, who accepted her actions gracefully, thinking that being eaten by a god would send them to a paradise of sorts.

For once in her life, Emma felt like a true demon, she didnt know that she was actually a zombie because she still had her memories, her personality and her ability to manipulate fire. It wasnt until her body began to change that Emma realized that she was not who she used to be. Her skin was paler than usual and she only wanted to eat raw meat.

In the past, Emma loved sugary treats and the like, but now, she has found herself hunting humans, which is her new favorite food. She also feels very strongly tied to a simple band necklace the tribe has given her for some reason that is unknown to Emma.

One rainy night, Emma was hunting a human, waiting for him to enter his home before attacking. It seemed at first that Emma would be making a clean kill, however, this particular human was a member of the Undead Operatives Division and knew how to fight zombies. This particular person realized that Emma was a Ritual zombie when he began choking her and a sudden fear filled Emma that her necklace would break or something. This person took off her necklace and with it, controlled her to join the Zombie Girl Squadron.

Personality: Normally quite perky except when she is hungry, she will act as if she is pmsing. Emma has a curious nature about her despite being a demon while she was alive.

NPC's

Mr. Ellipses
Head of the Undead Operations Division

User Image
They mysterious and enigmatic leader of the Zombie branch of G.H.A. He oversees everything from development of new zombie controlling technologies, to giving the mission briefings for the Zombie Girl Squadron when they head out on assignment. He is highly secretive and keeps his identity safely protected, no one from Zombie branch has ever seen his real face, and he often regards the UOD as if it where a separate entity from the G.H.A entirely, keeping communications between the two at a minimum. He runs the division with a firm hand, keeping human researchers busy and zombie initiates in line. No one, be they alive or dead, would dare to cross or defy him.

Mary Onette "the cleaner"
Undead Disciplinary Specialist.

User Image
Mary Onette, though around the UOD known simply as "The Cleaner", is the human operative in charge of enforcing the laws of the G.H.A amongst the zombies, and keeping the undead in line. She has been trained for years specifically to fight zombies, and holds know sympathy for them whatsoever, making her an efficient, and ruthless zombie killing machine when necessary. She looms over the heads of the Zombie Girl Squadron like a spectre, always watching and waiting for one to slip up and break one of the rules and regulations. She is fond of using fear and violence to assert her authority, and often will torture and/or publicly mutilate rule breaking zombies just to make an example of them to the others. In addition to her near indestructible chainsaw she also wields a variety of chemicals, ones capable of manipulating the brain to work around a zombie's deadened nerves and bodily functions, not only making them capable of feeling pain, but making them even more sensitive to it than normal humans.

Victor Von Chambers
Head of Research and Development

User Image
Head of the infamous Von Chambers family, a family of scientist renown for their many marvelous and horrible scientific discoveries throughout history. He is the current head of the research and development branch of the U.O.D. and is the one who discovered the means of taming the zombie's hunger in the first place, opening the gates to form the Zombie Girl Squadron. He also develops the strange gadgets and weapons the Zombie Girls take with them into the field, and has personally augmented his own body with so much of this technology that he's now more machine than man. He's highly eccentric and is an almost constant state of experimentation, claiming that science is his "first and true love". He constantly pushes boundaries in the pursuit of science, and if his research didn't happen to go towards the defense of the human race he could easily be labeled as an evil mad scientist.

Adam Lazzly
Head Lab Assistant

User Image

proclaimed as a scientific genius prodigy, Adam Lazzly is the head lab assistant in the Undead Operations Division, though he prefers to call himself "Dr. Chambers' number one apprentice". He has a brilliant mind, smart enough to contend even with Dr. Chambers and bounce ideas back and forth with him to help design and refine new advanced gadgets and technology for the Zombies Girl Squadron's use. Adam is usually the one who helps demonstrate the new devices as they are introduced to agents, acting as a model of sorts for their function. In addition to being a great scientist he is a self proclaimed "zombie maniac" obsessed with all things zombies, to the point of it even being a fetish, as he can be often seen trying to rig up spy cams around the agents' rooms or trying to design skimpy "field uniforms" for them to wear, though thankfully most of these exploits are regularly thwarted.

Quince E. Harlow
Maid/Butler

User Image

Quince E. Harlow, 17 years old, is the appointed servant of the Zombie Girl Squadron. He is in charge of taking care of all the cooking, cleaning, and attending to any of the other needs the zombie agents may have. He refers to himself as the butler, but most people call him the branch's maid because of the maid outfit he always wears. Quince wears a maid uniform strictly because Mr. Ellipses pays him nearly double his regular salary to do so, for reasons Quince doesn't bother to ask. Because Quince cares more about his paycheek than his personal dignity he does so without question, though still get irritated when people tease him for it, or worse, confuse him for a woman. Quince despite his kind, feminine appearance is rather deadpan and snarky most of the time, always showing a lack of interest in just about anything. He claims to be desensitized to his work, sense "preparing the zombie girls' meals" really means "chopping up dead bodies" often including fellow humans, however one can often see his brow twitching whenever something particularly disturbing happens, and despite serving the zombie's their meals he never actually stays to watch, having thrown up every time he's tried. Oddly enough despite his general disgust at the zombies he serves he is always polite and respectful to them, and is never afraid to be alone with them for extended periods of time, which most other human members of the U.O.D aren't willing to do without restraints of some sort being in place. Because of this he is refereed to as the zombie tamer, he who can walk amongst the undead without fear. He also has a pet Penguin named "Sleepy" who he's trained to assist him in doing chores around the zombie girl's quarantined living quarters.
