My father is sick, really sick, and I've never had a close relationship with him. He's always been distant and lives on the other side of the world. I see him once every two years.
I believe he is unsaved based on his actions (though still married to my mother, he has a new family with another woman on the other side of the world).
In the past I have told him that I want him in heaven with me, and whenever I have brought up Christianity to him, my father acts even more distant than normal and gets uncmfortable, what can I say to my father and share the gospel with him when I see him in a week? How do I also tell him that I want him in my life more?

Well obviously, you can't beat him over the head with God's Word because as you have seen from past dealings, it all it has done is to drive him further away.
Keep praying about it and ask God to guide your steps in dealing with him.
Wait on the Lord.
The Holy Ghost will open the doors for you to strick up conversations about God's love and God's plan for mankind and God's Son, Jesus, and also give you the opportunity to talk too him about 'Roman's Road.'
Just keep praying my friend and ask the Lord to guide your steps and direct your path with him and ask God to help you be more in tune with the Holy Ghost to be diplomatic in your approuch with the gospel of Christ with him; and when you feel the Holy Spirit open the door, step out on faith and ask God to have the Holy Spirit move through you and have total control over the things that you say to him to convnce him and have the Holy Spirit convict him of his sins and to have the Holy Spirit cause him to ask for redemption and salvation through Jesus Christ our Risen Lord and Living Savior.

I will be keeping you in my prayers as always Miss Chey.
God bless you, your mother, and the time that you spend with your father.

Your brother in Jesus and your friend,
Jack W. Fitzbaugh

Hi!
IDK if ya have been readin' the daily devotionals or really any of the posts through out this guild. But they all pretty much tell ya how to share God's Word with a family member or even a stranger.
Plus, in my experiance. Most people really do not want to know how much you know, but how much you care;
and if ya show your father how much ya care and let the Holy Ghost open up a door for ya to talk to him more about how much ya care about his soul salvation.
Will keep ya in my prayers hun that all goes well and that God will get the glory.
Christian huggles,
~Lyn~
