I don't care what happened then. I didn't like to remember the memory of loss and hatred. I know that they won't come back and I can't do anything about it. They were my family. I have myself alone. I don't mind about taking revenge, it doesn't change a thing. Revenge won't save my soul from all the loss that I had experienced.

They were good and innocent people. Why them? Why not punish the greedy and the sinful instead? Why does it have to be them. I remember seeing their happy faces when we were strolling at the river and how we used to cheer the Scouting Legion when they leave Wall Maria.

I remember her telling me that we would join the Legion together when we grow up. I can still remember the promises we made for each other. We were best friends and more like sisters. But why did they have to take her away? She was the only family I have left. She told me before that being too angry would kill me, that hating as well isn't any better, that life goes on as it is, that somehow getting eaten by the titans is just something normal and cliche and that we would only live waiting for the titans to come and devour us. But I wanted change, I wanted to let her know that she is wrong, that she doesn't know what she is saying. It came to reality that she was right, but I still hoped for something and I kept my promises. I would join the Scouting Legion and we'd be together when the time comes. I missed my friends. I missed them so much.
