Alexius ~ Medan
God it's COLD~! Alexius thought to himself, moving through the snowey plains. He knew it was a general this way direction, and he had been travelling for quite some time.
Who knew there were such cold places beyond the walls?! He shivered heavily, rubbing his arms and huddling as he pressed onward. Sure, heat he was used to. Infact he was prepared for it. Titans blood was known to run hot. He'd been with the Survey corps a while, but never really expected it when the commander of the squads approached members and captains, trusting them with information detailing the pursuit of certain individuals. Reaching into his coat, he drew out the picture again. He had to admit, the girl was a looker. For a moment, he wondered why the captain of his squad entrusted him with this particular task, atleast up in this direction. Maybe because he wouldn't encounter her? Settling the picture back into one of his jackets pockets, he pulled his Recon Corps cloak around him and continued rubbing his arms as he pressed on. It had been a while since he'd seen any titans. He was doing a fairly good job of avoiding them.... Maybe they just hated the cold as much as he did, which would explain why they weren't out here? He'd figure it out later... Looking up into the distance, he saw a figure in the distance. Widening his eyes a bit, he began to wonder who it was, but immediately his mission came to mind again.
No way... She's actually out here? In this frigid hell?! He unravelled his arms, grasping at the handles of his swords, lowering his stance a bit as he pressed the sword handles to the blades stored at his sides, attaching them and drawing them out. Regardless of anything, he had his orders. He'd hate to have to kill her, but on the other hand, if he gave her time to transform, she could very likely, easily kill him....
A loud bang erupted as he lowered his stance, and he felt a hot cut across his face, slicing open the skin of his cheek. He yelled out as the burning metal ripped away at the skin of his face, not doing too much real damage, but it did hurt like hell. Falling into the snow, he spun with the attack and allowed himself to lay still for a moment.
She's got a gun? That'll complicate things. I thought only the royal guard had those.... Even then they're not supposed to be accurate this far away... He turned his head and pushed himself to stand, looking back to her before jumping up from the snow, training paying off slightly as he pushed himself up a good body size in height before pulling the triggers on the handles of his swords, launching the lines from the 3d gear out into the distance, at an angle but closer to the woman, hoping to close the distance by hooking them into the ground and using the slippery snow to skid along as he pulled himself, using up some of the gas from his gear to push himself along faster. Pressing his heels on the ground to keep himself upright while the hooks would pull him along, he moved his right arm back, then swung the sword in the general direction of the woman as he would close the distance, pulling the second trigger of the handle, releasing the blade mid-swing as he skidded along, attempting to send the blade flying at the girl.... After the swing, he lost his balance and as the hooks came back to his 3d maneuver gear, he would slip and tumble into the snow, quickly pushing and stumbling back to his feet before running slightly off to the side in order to avoid her next shot....
