Family is defined in the dictionary as a group consisting of parents and children living in a household together. Usually it is assumed that families are related by blood. Though this is a powerful way for people to be bonded it is not the only way. Who you decide is your family can be just as strong if not more so then blood. It is a bond that some believe can never be broken. You will protect them and they will protect you. That's what family does.

The Valinore family and the Trestinlow Family are both influential mafia families residing in the same city.. Both families have lived in relative peace next to each other all on account of a flimsy treaty that ended a long bloodbath of war between the two of them. Though most people are unaware the two family's used to be one. That was until the boss of the family at the time named his younger son as the heir to the family. His elder son enraged at the loss of what he believed was rightfully his split from the family and led a group of men to claim what he believed to be his. It was unknown who eventually brought forth the treaty or why. It has been honored none the less.t left the two families in a relative peace. For years both families went about there own business. Neither of them truly acknowledging the other nor interfering with anything the other family has going on in there territory. Until a bomb placed on the Valinore's territory killed four of the Trestinlow's men unexpectedly. The Valinore believe that it was an attack by the Trestinlow that went wrong and ended in there own demise. The Trestinlow believe that the Valinore planted the bomb and tricked there men into coming into there own territory to set it off so that they may try to force the Trestinlow family to give up territory or resources. Either way wild accusations have been thrown about. The treaty is hanging by a thread and the once peaceful city holds it breath to see what happens next.

1- Use proper sentences and post at least two paragraph's per post.
2- Be kind OOC
3- PM profiles and reserves to me with the subject title as the family name you wish to be in.
4- Post as often as you can
5- Be creative but don't go overboard. There is such a thing as to much.
6- If something comes up and you can't post please let me know.
7- Keep OOC with your posts or in the OOC/Profile area. No OOC posts by themselves.
8- I accept all kinds of experiences in RP.
9- If you have an idea for Plot progression let me know.
10- Reserve picture size must be 100x100
11- You can have up to two characters as long as you keep up with them. If a character dies it is not included in this count. So if you have made two characters and one dies you can make a new one if you wish to.
12- If you have a certain idea for a character that is not listed PM me and we can figure something out.
13- Anime pics are preferred.
14- This is the mafia. Characters may die. No auto-killing or god-modding.
15- Romance is always cool but keep the bedroom out of the forum. We don't need all the details.
16- Family members do NOT have to be related.
17- The head of the family is able to change the heir if something happens as the story progresses. For instance the main Heir dies or does something that disgraces the family. The head of the family then picks the next heir. It does NOT have to be the next oldest child and does not necessarily need to be there actual child either.
18- I either need a reserve before or with your profile.
19- New rules will be in red.
