Making A Journal
Please understand that, as a roleplay required shop, you must have a journal for your pet. These journals help keep information organized for both your dreamer and oneiroi pet. This will help to keep updated information on your pet for anyone looking to rp with you to see what sort of pet you are playing that they might be interested in. Keeping a journal also helps staff to see how far along you are in reaching the growth requirements for your pet's next stage.
Journals can be very simple, though you may see some players that have gone the extra mile to decorate theirs. How you set up your journal is up to you, but the following information must be present in order to help your pet grow. Consider these the basic minimum.
- The Dreamer:
Name
Personality: A brief description about your dreamer's personality.
Appearance: A brief description on their physical traits.
History: A brief summary of your dreamer's past.
- Please leave a post specifically for the recurring dream or nightmare that your Dreamer experiences when they first acquire their dream catcher. What visions brought them to seek out the mysterious old woman?
Solo Rps are to be kept in your pet's journal.
Later, when your pet has reached the specter stage, please include the following:
- The name of your Reve/Nightmare
Personality of your pet
After that, setup is entirely up to you. You can keep a scrapbook of your pet's growth, what their thoughts are as they continue to grow and meet new people, your Dreamer's opinion of their Oneiroi, and more!
Journal Rules
Do not post your pet's journal until the staff creates their specific thread. The staff will create your pet's “splash post” to start off the thread, which will include their current stage and basic information, such as gender and any information available in the registry (whether they are a Reve/Nightmare, pet stage, etc).
Only one journal per pet. This may make the first rule seem redundant, but it bears repeating. Please remember that you may only have one pet per dreamer, so grouping them together is not advised.
Do not post in another person's journal unless you have their permission.
It is highly advised that you keep an RP Log for your pet. This will help staff keep track of your growth requirements.
