Vincent laughed as Aspen was "attacked" by Pochi. It was very cute to watch. He was about to get up and hold Pochi back, but he wasn't fast enough. His golden eyes captured the whole scene as Aspen jumped up and tried to run from Pochi. She ended up face-first of Vince's chest. He chuckled lightly as Aspen hopped up. He watched as Ash's face reddened. "It's okay. I tried to warn you." Vincent was talking in between fits of laughter. His face was as red as a tomato.

Vincent finally managed to calm down. He bolted upright and looked Pochi in the eyes. "What am I going to do with you? You can't attack Aspen again. Got it?" Vincent was pretending to lecture Pochi. Pochi whimpered and bowed his head. He was playing along with Vincent's act.

Ash smacked his arm playfully as he laughed at her. "S-stop it!"Aspen sputtered, more embarrassed than mad. Her cheeks puffed up then and she ended up face planting onto the bed beside him. Pochi sat obediently beneath the pair, his tail wagging crazily, until Vincent stopped his snickering at her. She peekd out from under her head to watch as he scolded Pochi for his little chase. He probably only thought it was a game. He was a dog after all. Vince told him to not to attack her again and he wounded up whimpering, even bowing his head in shame for his actions. She didn't quite catch the act they were playing with eacother, and she flipped over, reaching out her hand to ruffle the fur on top of Pochi's head. "Its okay Pochi. Maybe not as rough next time," she hummed soothingly causing Pochi to yap again.

Vincent patted Aspen on the head. "Don't be embarrassed love! Pochi was only joking around with you." He crossed his arms over his chest and suppressed a chuckle. Pochi panted and crawled over to Aspen and gave her hand a tentative lick. He was trying to apologize for his actions.

Vincent's phone beeped twice, telling him that he had received a new message. He held up his index finger. "One minute Aspen!" Vince opened his phone and read the message. Come meet me by the Flooded Lake soon sir. I need to talk to you. I'm quite lonely actually. Vincent tried to find out who sent the message, but he had no leads.

"Aspen, I hate to end our time here so soon, but there's this person who needs to talk to me by the Flooded Lake. I don't know if it's a prank or not, but I'll find out soon. Would you like to come with me?" Vince fidgeted nervously from where he was seated. If it was only a prank, he didn't care. Vincent was pranked a lot wen he was a youngster. He felt the need to add something more. "You don't have to come if you don't want to Aspen. No one's forcing you too. In fact, you can finish packing if you would like."

Aspen ruffled Pochi's fur and sat up to look at him. He was rummaging through his pocket looking for his phone. It beeped continuosly before he found and it flipped it open. She had to hold herself back when she thought about trying to read the text from over his shoulder, but decided against it. Then she'd just wound up look like a jealous girlfriend, which she was not. She sat patiently, waiting for him to finish reading it, before listening while he explained what it said. Apparently, someone wanted to meet him at Flooded Lake to talk to him. To Ash, that seemed a bit strange that out of nowhere some random person wanted to to talk him. For all they knew it could have been some sort of prank, like he said. She wasn't going to let him walk into it alone, though, and she stood up and shook her brown head in agreement. "I'll go with you if you wish." She took his hands and pulled him up so he was standing in front of her. "That way we can find out who it is together!" Aspen said excitedly as if they were going on an adventure. Or at least something like it. She couldn't help but wonder who it was that needed to talk to him.

Vincent shuffled his feet anxiously. I"m ready to go, my love!" He was about to start walking out the door, but then Vince remembered about Pochi. He bent down to scratch his head. "I'm sorry Pochi, but mommy and daddy have to go now okay?" With that, Vincent whirled around and had Aspen trail behind him as they left for the Flooded Lake.

Aspen shuffled after Vincent, but not without saying goodbye to Pochi first. She leaned down and petted him on the head, only for him to realize they were leaving him alone again, and he pressed his wet nose into her palm. She smiled softly at him and rubbed him under his chin where she knew he liked before saying, "Its okay Pochi, we won't be gone for long. We'll be back before you know it." She got up once again and followed after Vincent, who was surprisingly fast even with his cane, and they were out their door on their way to Flooded Lake.
