Sometime ago.. the world was in balance.

Life, Death, Chaos, and Order managed to come to an agreement.

Thus putting the Demons(Chaos), the Gods(Order), The Angels(life), and the Horsemen(Death) in balance with each other.

However, through a mistake in time... This balance has been broken, and one rogue god managed to take advantage of this mistake.

Welcome to Hel.

"Man your POSITIONS! They cannot enter without one of us. So they will fall by our mighty bows."

"WE DON'T KNOW WHO IS ON OUR SIDE.. WE OUR AGENTS OF LIFE. WE ONLY HAVE TO PROTECT OURSELVES. WE WORSHIP THE ONE TRUE GOD."

The rally of the angels could be heard.

The Screams of the archangels.. the serphims. However it didn't seem to matter.

Hel only sat below the heavens. Her small but wicked smile growing. She didn't just have her powers, but she had the power of death growing. She only smiled when she heard their screams. She only commanded some of hte rogue squad of gods.. she promised them the souls. She commanded the Horsemen.. because she promised them death. She had everything.. and now it was time for her plan to come to light.

"What you don't understand Angels.. I already have the souls of one your own.. so prepare for Ragnarok..."

Hel turned her back and she ripped her claws into the angel... her angel that she captured from the time travelers. She split the powers into her army.

The angels never felt fear.

The angels never felt death.

However, they fought.

Dragons flew through the sky. Gods Hammers flew through the sky. Death reigned through the skies.

Hel just sat in her chair. With each death that grew she only smiled. She drank from her chalice. The sweet nectar of death. The gods and pale riders all danced to her music.

The Battle wouldn't even last a day. The forces of Hel were too powerful. they were many.. The angels were few. Hel only asked for the commanding ten angels to be brought to her. She knew that they were weakened, they gave part of themselves to their human host. She only cracked her knuckles.

"Welcome to the regime.. Will you serve me.."

The angels refused to answer. She thought as much. No self loving angel would ever betray their lord. No self respecting demon would turn their back on their master. No Pale Rider would turn their back on Death. However, gods always wanted more.... Gods needed more. She only stabbed each one of them with her trident. She gave a short smile.. letting the trident absorb each one of the powers of the Angels. Cutting their subsequent host off from their power.

"Well then.. Gods..and Pale Riders.. This land is yours.."

She said slowly...

She had other works to do, but for now... it was time to see Earth.

"So what do we gain if we give you our alliance? Your own people told us to be worried of you..That whenever you got a chance you would strike."

Black Adam stood before Her. The Gods usually separated when making a decision, but because of the rash actions of Hel. They decided to sit as one. He only looked her in the eyes and continued to stay a float.

"You have permanently upset the balance of the world. You killed the angels. You pulled life from off the table. You want us to serve you in the further betrayal of us? You're not even going after the Pale Riders.. You are about to cause war with the Norse. They are your people."

Hel only smiled. She had her plan all together. She eyed the fallen angels and watched them continue to fall. Her plan was absolute.

"I tell you what. I am not asking you for your power. I am not.. I wouldn't dare ask for that.. However.. what I do need from you.. is to help me take the power of Lightning from the Norse. After we have the hammer of the gods.. you will be the supreme god of lightning. Then you can conquer the Phoenix or whatever it is you want to do.."

Hel turned her back and licked her lips.

"Unfortunately for me.. To become the whole leader of Death.. I need to kill Hades. That's going to take a little bit more power than I have... I got the short end of the stick with who runs the afterlife. Hades got the souls of the humans.. I got everything else, the problem is.. there isn't a lot of those souls dying. SO Hades and his Hades is too powerful for me to strike without Mjolnorir... and of course you get to keep the sister.. Star Hammer."

Black Adam only flew to the sky He almost created a sonic boom how fast he flew to the sky. He turned to look down on her. His voice only boomed through the clouds.

"You have me...for now.. but if your treachery bites me.. be sure I will rip your head off. "

Hel only smiled. It was all coming together...

"Hel has gone to far... And the Norse have said nothing about it. They are probably working with leagues with that scoundrel... We should end the truce and attack them."

The Son of Lightning said. He crossed his arms and his decision was made. He wanted his chance to knock out the God of Thunder with his fist. Take his hammer and beat him to death with it. However, his father always held him back. His father made the truce with Odin and now they were suppose to hold it true.

The Olderman. The more calm man stroked his beard and only gave a smile. His eyes flashed with lightning as he looked at his son.

"Hold your tongue...Hercules.. The God of lightning Approaches."

Just like that the skies turned gray. The rain started to pour from the sky. A strapping blond male appeared from the sky. He came down out of the sky and landed touching both feet on the ground. His eyes flashed lightning as he looked at the son of Zeus.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show."Son of Zeus.. and Son of Chronos...I fear that my father has went into his Odin Sleep and he will not be of help. However I am to understand that my niece has caused an uprising."

Zeus only held up one hand.

"We are waiting for one more."

Thor looked and he was confused.

"One More?"

With a bolt of lightning. The Egyptian God appeared. Black Adam. Thor and Hercules both look confused. Hercules pounds his hand against a stone table. He let his knuckles cracked and he cracked his neck. Black Adam stepped up and started to walk towards him. Thor put his hammer between both of them. Black Adam gave a smile to Hercules as he walked to Zeus.User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

"Greetings Norse Gods and Greek Gods. Pleased that you let us be apart of your counsel."

Zeus only licked his lips. His eyes sparked with lightning.

"The Table has been unbalanced... Hel is one of our own and she has went to far...The mortals won't be able to handle this and we must take her down.. However, us fighting the Norse would effectively end our Peace. So Thor and Black Adam would have to do it. IF They do so successfully.. I would be willing to give up my spot is Lord Thunder to give my power to Thor and Black Adam."

Herc only picked up the table and tossed it from the heavens,

"You musn't Father. You will give up your powers for this..."

"We must do what we can to keep the table balanced.. For without balance.. Chaos will always ensue. So yes once Hel is dead you have my word that Not only will the Egyptians be recognized, but Thor you will be head of Mount Olympus. Do we have an agreement?"

Thor nodded and shook Zeus' hand as Did Black Adam.

Hercules walked off in disgust. His father practically gave away everything they worked for. The death of his brother meant nothing. The death of thousands meant nothing. He gave it all away to lesser gods and he was suppose to be there to watch this. No. Hercules only walked away.

"I won't stand here and watch everything we worked for be torn apart by you...father."

Thor Only smiled a bit. He got a chance to watch his bitter rival walk away in defeat. However, that would be his down fall. As Thor Watched his Rival turn and walk away in pain and defeat. Black Adam went on the strike. One strike. His fist went through the god's chest.

"Sorry Zeus.. I don't share.. However, I will keep my end of the bargain."

Thor reached out for the hand of Zeus. Black Adam just placed his hand on Thor's shoulder and pulled him from shoulder to shoulder. As he did he ripped Thor in Half. His hammer, the power of the Norse, the power of the sky. Black Adam reached down and touched it.. his hand tingled at first. His eyes sparked. He growled and he picked it up. He lifted in the sky and he only gave a smirk.

"Guess when this over.. The Egyptians will rule."

He flew off.

Zeus left with the destruction that was in his path. He only looked and gave a frown.

"what have I done.."

Nothingness. A void deeper than blackness, absent of any color, presence, thought. The abyss that existed before Creation. One could go utterly mad if confronted with it. Time was meaningless. This abyss would exist forever, yet untouched by time.

Without warning, the void was rendered, sundered and shattered. In its midst was... a room. The floor seemed carved from perfect, flawless marble, polished to a high gleam with wax. Scattered almost haphazardly along its surface were dozens of carpets of immaculate construction, every thread in alignment, minuscule patterns embroidered into them. The center of the floor was dominated by an immense table, constructed from aged oak, fashioned into a large circle. Several chairs were spread evenly around its perimeter, each one a throne in its own right.

The room had no walls or even a ceiling, the floor simply ended where the void resumed its presence. There seemed no way to enter this room, yet several forms appeared out of nowhere, through one manner or another.

A burst of flame and a whiff of sulfur, and an arrogant figure garbed in red stepped forward. Even his skin was red, and his hair was a deep red shock thrown back from a prominent brow. Mephisto.

A burst of flame vanished almost as quickly as it appeared, leaving a ring of ash in its wake. Rising up from this was a demonic looking figure, skin as black as the ash it has arisen from. Its eyes glowed a baleful red, and taloned hands clenched into fists. A powerful tail lashed behind it, and hair that resembled nothing so much as a mass of spikes. Blackheart.

The void seemed to warp and collapse in upon itself, waves of distortion stretching inward to a minute point before pulsing outward. Dark red flames burst from this nexus, and a figure strode forth from the inferno. Clad in what appeared to be a suit of armor, their head seemed composed of flames burning the same color as those they stepped through. Dormammu.

A section of the flawless marble seemed to crack and fissure, before a powerful form surged through it. A demonic form with a rocky build, colored an olive green, his most noticeable feature was the second face on his stomach. Horns curled back from his head, and low fires burned along his back. Satannish.

The darkness from the void surged forth before coalescing into a slender figure. Skin as pale as bone, and hair that seemed insubstantial as shadows. Dressed in a form-fitting outfit of purple and black, glowing green eyes looked over the others indifferently. She moved forward to take a seat as well. Lilith.

The next form simply appeared, with no outward indicator of just how they had done so. A withered figure clad in a voluminous robe, one gnarled hand extended, with a single crimson fingernail inscribing onto a scroll held by their other hand. They drifted toward the table silently. Chthon.

Six guests in all, they each took a seat. All the while watching each other guardedly. There was not a single bit of trust in the room, each would betray the others at the first opportunity. Yet one by one, they each glanced at one object in particular. The seventh seat at the table. One more guest had yet to arrive, the one who had asked them to come.

Finally, they appeared, in a flash of green and black light. Garbed in an outfit of the same hues. her face was hidden by a green mask which covered her eyes, leaving only white expanses that betrayed no emotion. Hel. She took the final seat, before clasping her hands together upon the table. "I suppose you all are wondering why I summoned you. Well, all in good time. An opportunity has arisen, and I am going to take advantage of it. Due to our unique connections, it was only apropos that I extend the same opportunity to all of you."

Hel gestured and the surface of the table rippled like oil, before it began to show a picture, a recording of what had already transpired. How her father, Loki, had fallen. How she had stormed the gates of Heaven itself, and slayed the Angelic Host. The deal she had made with Black Adam. And even the recent activities of the other Gods- Thor, Odin, Hercules, and once more Black Adam.

Once the display was finished, she resumed her speech. "The time has come to sunder Fate, to take what we want. Souls. There is an entire planet, and once the Gods are no more, the souls of the mortals will be ripe for the plucking. No more must we remain in check, biding our time and only making a move when Fate allows. No more! I say we seize Fate as our own, and prove that even the Gods can die!"

For a moment, no one spoke. Finally, though, one did. Clasping his hands in a faint shriek of metal, Dormammu leaned forward over the table. "An interesting offer. But why share any of this with the rest of us? None of us have any real alliance, and any promise of such would be a lie."

"She offers, because she expects us all to be overcome. She thinks us mere cannon fodder, to distract the Gods and mortals from her own actions. Being so sorely underestimated... Hel, you disappoint me." Mephisto grinned even as he leaned back in his own seat, taking a sip from the glass of wine that hadn't been there a moment ago.

"I say we agree to her offer. And when we make it through, then she'll have to surrender a share of the souls to each of us!" A clenched fist struck the table, though the table was strong enough to not crack under the blow, as Satannish glared at Hel.

"She offers a grand opportunity regardless of her own ulterior motives. If the Gods do fall, then our influence will be felt more strongly than ever. Surely that much evil spreading throughout the world will be worth a little treachery." Chuckling softly, Blackheart nodded his head toward Hel, showing his own stance on the issue.

"Whether she betrays us or not, I for one intend to advance my own cause. You all would do well to do the same. If there is even a chance we can finally cast off the shackles of Law, then by all means we must grasp this chance!" A wheezing cough preceded Chthon's words, but they were no less impassioned as a result.

For a long moment, the last entity seated at the table didn't speak. Lilith considered the issue in silence as she weighed the others' comments. "If this be the truth, then there is no choice but to say aye. Whether Hel intends treachery or not, it matters not. The Gods and Law have been a thorn in our collective sides for too long. We must take this chance, while the moment is right. Once the last God has fallen, and all our other enemies lay in defeat, then we can return to our traditional roles."

Hel smiled slightly as it seemed that the majority of those she had summoned were amenable to her cause. Oh, she knew they would betray her, but as long as she could make them think that there was still more for them to gain, she could control the moment of their betrayal. For now, they seemed to be in accord, they would finally bring about the long-awaited Twilight of the Gods. In time, all of the different pantheons would be simple memories. Odin, Zeus, Osiris, Jupiter... Soon, they would all fall beneath her heel. They all shared the burden of her father's death, they all would share in the punishment. And then, then the earth would be up for grabs. Six billion souls were up for grabs. It would be glorious.

With nothing else to say, they left, one by one. Only after the last one had departed, did the room itself dissolve back into the void. No sign of the meeting ever having took place remained, no trace of the various energies that had passed through would ever be detected.

It had begun.

However, if they understood he was so much more than that. So much more than the character they made on the hot signs. So much more than the creator of sin. He only sat there listening to Hel promise him what he always wanted. Souls and lots of them. He had always been pushed to the edge.

"Yes Yes Yes. Do allow me to use the very few souls I have to kill the humans. As I understand I would get the Afterlife as my own domain again."

He wasn't talking to any one in particular. They had all left to do their scheming and planing. Mephisto was left alone in the throne room. Where he always wanted to be sat. How he always wanted to take over. He only let his claws tap his fingers on his shoulders. He looked at the table. He sighed slowly as he licked his lips.

"Yes yes The After life shall be mine... We kill Hades.. Then we work on Hel. Be one the true being in the world.."

Mephisto only picked a few corruptible souls. He dropped a red Helmet down to the Earth. Each Helmet hat was picked up would slowly turn them. The problem with the rest of them. They were always suspicious, but never on the right one. They always suspected Hel. Hell even he suspected Hel. However, his over all plan still had Hel and the others to die. However, his first plan.. his first and foremost plan was to get some souls. He looked down on his children rising. He looked down at his babies rising.

"Hello Boys.. Do your best to spread death. I know that you won't let papa down."

Mephisto said as he walked away. He had much planning to do. What else did she have up her sleeve. She wouldn't have just arranged for them all to be here. She probably had a way to kill all of them, but the rest were so stupid that they didn't matter. Mephisto dragged his claws across the table and watched them rise. Zombies would have been so cliche. However, they would have been more frightening. He wasn't going for fright. He was going for pure strength.

But she was never far away. She knew exactly what she was doing.. letting the world devour itself. Everything would always be hers.. it was just a manner of when and how long it took. Evil was spreading across the planes... and they wouldn't know where it began or where it ended.
