Awakening

What’s happening...I can’t see anything, not even black…my head feels dizzy, and I can’t remember why...I can’t remember...can’t remember...remember…
Player wakes up. Slowly he or she sits up and holds their hand to their head.
P: Where am I? Wait. (looks up) Who am I? *Player confirms name* Right. Of course.
Player gets up from bed and walks over to mirror.
P: Is this me? *Confirms looks* I guess it is.
Player looks around room.
P: I don’t remember being here before. But, somehow, I do. What is going on? This, feeling, De’ja vu? If only I could remem- (flinches in pain) Ow, why does trying to remember hurt so much? (shakes head) Guess I should focus on the present for now.

Shy/Uncertain: Should I look around here or go outside?
Adventurous: (clasps hands) Time to find some clues! Out or in?
Boisterous: (Jumps up and down once) Okay! Well time to investigate! Should I start inside?
Easy-going: I think I’ll look *inside or outside* for now. Maybe I’ll find something.
Player learns basic walking, jogging, and running.

Unlike other schools, we do not use classrooms. All learning will be self taught.Should you ever feel tired from your studies, please do not hesitate to refresh yourself with a nap! Keeping track of your room key is your responsibility. If you should lose it, you will be docked Karma Points to replace it.

Outside Room: Hallway
Hallway: Rooms on each side. Both ends run into a common area. Through the middle is a large hallway.
P: Now, where am I? (looks back and forth). Rooms on both sides. Looks like it goes quite a ways down.
Hears screams from one end
P:What was that? (Runs to end of hallways into common area.)
NPC 1: (Yelling) I am not a ghost!
NPC 2: (screams) Then where did you come from?
NPC 1: (yelling) Through there! (points down the hall) There are doors that lead into this building. I got curious and wanted to explore. I. Am. Not. A. Ghost!
P:Excuse me?
NPC 2: (points and screams) GHOST!
P: ?
NPC 1: THERE ARE NO GHOSTS!
P: Sorry! I came from down there (points down same hallway) Room 13 to be exact. And I’m not a ghost.
NPC 3: Thank God I’m not alone!
NPC 1: (Dives to cover NPC 2 mouth)
NPC 2: (muffled scream through NPC 1 Hands)
NPC 3: What is she going on about?
P: *Select a phrase* - Outcome effects Good and Evil point thingymabobber
A ghost I think (neutral)
She’s just rambling about stupid ghosts (bad)
I’m not. I think we should find a nurse. She may have a head injury. (good)
NPC 3: Oh. Well, How many of us are there?
NPC 1: So far just us.
P: Where you all confused when you first woke up? I didn’t know my own name or what I looked like.
NPC 1, 2, & 3: (stare at P) Say at the same time -
1: I was the same way
2: (mumbles through hand)
3: Yes!
P: (thinks - What should we do?)
