Floor 1 through 12 are all office areas for employees to work in. Floor 13 through 17 are the executive offices. Floor 18 is just a large meeting and expo room. Floor 19 and 20 belong to Kim who actually lives in the office building itself while his parents live in their shop a few blocks away. The nineteenth floor requires a key to have access to it, only his parents, and one trusted janitor have any key other then Kimmy's. The twentieth floor is his work studio. The nineteenth floor is all his, a large kitchen that has a balcony out to the side of it, living room rather gaudy decor in his opinion, bedroom, it the only bedroom within the home since the place wasn't made with the idea of having more then one person. A large spacious bathroom and it is all fairly beautiful. The twentieth floor is a large gray room with normal tole and has low beams that are easy for Kimmy to climb onto, it has a large sketching desk and well half the room is filled with pads of paper, cloth, sewing materials of all sorts. Only a few mannequins are around and there is a changing room, however make shift it is, there is a set of couches near the windows with a large shag carpet and glass table. The windows all open from shutters, except the ones around the changing room but they are usually closed due to Kimmy hating the sun quite a bit. The entire place is constantly stocked by the Janitor who is paid the best salary in the world for just being Kimmy's "care taker" in terms of food, and supplies. The Janitor does very little cleaning due to Kimmy's lack of making messes, Kimmy is allowed to visit lower floors as he wants, but he generally doesn't have a reason too.

♣ ♣ ♣ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxK i m J o a n s M c ' K e n t h Kim would glance at her when she seemed to be shocked about his easy acceptance of animals, hell he had them before and liked them, but he wasn't able to give them enough attention much less take care of them, it was a sad reality for him considering he'd like an animal that would come up and demand to be petted every now and then. It was better to have something that loved you unconditionally around, something that even the snide and rude bratty Kim couldn't resist. Though he managed to live without it for quite a long time, so this was probably no different. When she mentioned being called Miss Priss and then mentioning what she had to go through he would roll his eyes, "I have been in bad clothing, after I all I didn't know how to sew until I was ten. Stuck wearing god awful ensembles put together by mother...though I did love the clothes she made for me as compared to bought." he mumbled with a look of pride. He was still proud of his mother since she still loved him, but it wasn't like she could always be around for him, "As for bitchy, I just like to do it because I know it pisses people off." he snickered lightly as he glanced at the chauffeur as if he was a perfect example of someone he liked to irritate by bitching. As she went on to mention she liked being pampered and it put her in a better mood, he smiled fairly warmly at that, "Then it makes doing things I want so much easier then huh?" he said offering a more cheery tone. He could imagine dressing her up in whatever he thought would suit her, hair and make up would be easily done, though make up taking longer since he was more precise and a little more thorough with the job.
When she mentioned food he blinked and shrugged, "We can order something in. I'm not in the mood to go anywhere." he grumbled looking irate at the thought of going to a fast food place, "Here." he'd hand her a phone he more or less magically pulled out of thin air and handed it to her. Numerous random fast food places, "Pick something and tell them what you want." he'd instruct her easily. They were listed as different categories, pizza, italian, sandwhich stops, that form of thing, anything she needed to know would probably be explained. When she kicked off her heels he would go back to looking out the window, he wanted to head back already, he had a few small things to do, check through mail, give Kat her option of clothing from the numerous boxes in the studio and then most likely crash. Looking up as she would suddenly ask him his opinion, he would stare at her blankly, "Who gives a damn what other people think, whether they admire you or they dislike what your wearing, you know for a fact that people will still look at you. Noticeable things, comfortable things, revealing, flashy, doesn't really matter personally. Long as you like to wear it, then wear it. Personally....I just like to show how original and unique you can be if people stopped being so close minded about what "normal" looks like. s**t...I'd go out and pajama pants and a stained t-shirt, I'll get looked at, and be called abnormal, but you know, there isn't really such a thing as normal. A stupid misconception the world sees as the eligibility to belong within it's society." he hissed not pleased with how much he ranted, "But of course, people are too stupid to realize that....it turns into something as silly as "fashion". If a designer released duck feathers, clown shoes and a green and gray colored boxers to be worn, most of the people would wear it and call it fashion." he snuffed, "Tch speaking of which, sometimes you may have to attend...parties..." he said the last word with a look of dread, "The people there are really annoying...all they do is...ugh I'll explain later. The thought of it right now makes me want to rip something up." he'd seethe. His more childlike side was shining through now, as well as his sometimes heated side, not like he could help it all too much.

x x x x x x Taking the phone from him, Kat browsed through the numbers and was surprised to see so many options there, to be honest. She guessed that meant he didn't really cook or have anyone to cook for him. Well, she didn't cook either, so she'd just have to be careful what she ate to avoid gaining weight if he always ate out, she reasoned. Her gaze flicked up to him and admittedly, she was surprised at the vehemence with which Kim answered her question. Her eyes widened a little bit as he ranted at her and she could tell he was getting seriously worked up over it, something she hadn't meant to do. "Well, I can tell you take it seriously," the young woman remarked mildly, not wanting to rile him up again. "I admit, I watch the runway shows and I think most of the things they make the models wear are just to screw with the general public, see what we'll call fashion before drawing a line. But there isn't any line." Shaking her head at that, Kat dialed the number for one of the pizza places listed and ordered a few cheese pies and a chicken sandwich, figuring leftovers were always good. Besides, she had no idea what Kim's routine was, so didn't want to count on regular meals.
As they pulled up to the highrise, Kat looked out the window. "It's a good thing I'm not afraid of heights," she remarked mildly, stepping out of the car with all the ease and grace of any supermodel or movie star, being sure not to make any unfortunate flashes to whomever might be watching. Standing there and waiting for Kim to get out, she stretched a bit and took a few moment to look around. It was a pretty nice section of the city, she had to admit. Once he was out and stalking towards the doors, Kat fell into step behind him, her hips swaying as if to show off what she was wearing, like any good doll or model would do for their master. And she felt much more at ease with the collar, the lace no longer cutting off her throat and making her feel short and stubby. That was probably the worst of it, as she wasn't that attached to her powers much. It had simply annoyed her, not having the choice to use them or not.
As they walked into the lobby, she looked around and saw a few heads turning. That made her smirk, as she like the attention and knew she looked good, thanks to Kim's emergency style fix. She was curious to see if anyone would approach them, but some them looked downright scared of Kim. That was interesting, she mused, taking a mental note of that as she followed him to the elevator that would take them to his floor. Kat had to admit, she was curious about her new living space and looked around as they walked out of the elevator and down the short hall to the living room. "Oh...it's a bit in your face, but very comfortable," she remarked, looking around and then going to inspect the kitchen and bathroom. The latter got another noise of appreciation from her, as did the bedroom with the large bed that looked far more comfortable than anything she had been sleeping on. "I'm going to assume all these rooms are mine to use as well," Kat remarked, since he hadn't said otherwise on their way here, after all. It was all very nice and she was more than pleased with it. It was going to be easy to be pampered here, that was for sure, and she sat down on the edge of the bed to test the mattress out. It was perfect, not a surprise to her, and she smiled as she looked around.

♣ ♣ ♣ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxK i m J o a n s M c ' K e n t h Kim was staring outside for the longest time, eyes focused on the outline of the building that marked his home, he stared at it and wondered quietly about how the next few days would go. Kat would have to settle in, then meeting his mother...and attending a party this weekend, all of it was a big pain in the a**, it would be easier to laze around and just do what he liked to do, design. Eyes glancing over to her when she mentioned that he took it seriously, "My job would be a joke then if I wasn't." he'd snuff at her like she was stupid, after all his line of work wasn't exactly games. He pretty much ran the company and it was his job to keep it going as well as continuously producing new designs with little breaks in between. When she mentioned the line of fashion he would suddenly smile, "Ah last year some silly rival of mine, self proclaimed, dressed a woman in silver ribbon. Barely covered anything and he called it a dress." he snorted, "With people like them in this industry, it causes me to worry for the future of fashion." he remarked lightly. Speaking of new designs, he was designing a lovely colorful party dress, it was mostly done, a few more more colors under the skirt and it would be perfect. The dress itself had polka dots that changed colors when one moved, blue, red and green, nice dark colors that would be accented by the white and make them the most notable feature on the dress. Something only he could manage with just fabric, not like anyone else could come up with such a fabulous idea!
Feeling anxious as they pulled up to the curb outside of the large building, he would look to her when she mentioned heights and smirked, "You won't even notice." he snickered lightly rather proud of his home, it had an amazing view sure, but he had the nice set up in his home. The mechanized windows much like those in Iron Man had been invested in by him for the main reason of being able to possibly induce better sleeping habits, but so far it has been unsuccessful. Slinking towards the doors after he exited the car and waved the driver off, he would stand up to his full height and pulled off a more intimidating look. Moving through the doors and barely taking notice of the new edition, paying no attention to her as she would happily show off, he could see the glances tossed towards his new play thing. Some were sexual, others were admiring, a few awed, and many jealous glares as they stalked through the lobby and got stuck in the elevator with a bunch of models. When they all left he easily pulled out a key and stuck it in a keyhole at the bottom of the list of buttons and easily turned it. The elevator dinged and they were raised to the top most levels and the place opened up onto a very nice looking home.
Stowing the key away as Kat seemed to take immediate interest in the living space, he would merely look to the stairs and slowly approach them. Stopping as noises of approval came from her and he would roll his eyes at the question, "Bed and bathroom are all yours. I generally pass out in the studio anyways. There is make up under the sink, well stocked. I tend to enjoy putting make up on my toys." he'd snort. Peering around the corner to eye her and smirking as she seemed pleased, "Pffft. Having fun kid?" he questioned making fun of her before disappearing up the stairs into his studio. He was immediately attracted to one of the many mannequins dressed in party styled clothes, all of them beautiful and lined up in a neat row. There was a total of thirteen dresses, a variety of colors, all of them held a sense of fun but an eloquent feel to them so that they both suited parties that were more modern and more formal, a strange and difficult balance that Kimmy wasn't even aiming for at first, but managed to have. On one of the walls boxes marked with different names lined the wall, all of them were filled with clothes, and now that he thought about it he would have to take Kat's proper measurements. Rubbing his chin as he would wait for the curious woman to wander up here, not like she would neglect a whole floor after all.

x x x x x x Sure enough, there was more makeup under the sink than she'd seen anywhere save an actual makeup aisle. All of it was expensive brands and Kat poked through them for a few minute, tossing her head when he teased her. Well, it wasn't as if she couldn't stand some teasing and she figured she'd rather him make fun of her and joke than be all pissy and sulk. That would just be boring and intolerable, in her opinion. She'd pull her hair out in frustration and then where would that leave them? Straightening up from the crouch she'd been in and shutting the cabinet door, the young woman walked around the first floor for a bit longer, peering out the windows with wide eyes. This was all new for her and as sophisticated as she tried to behave, part of her was still a wide-eyed little girl that was amazed at everything and anything that was new to her. Pleased with it all - more than pleased, actually - she hummed a bit and went into the kitchen, poking and prodding around like a cat would in exploring their new home. She hated surprises and found that there really wasn't much food there at all. Making a face, Kat decided she'd either have to go get groceries or have them brought 'round, or something. She wasn't going to ever live in a house without chocolate, even if it was the apocalypse.
The whole place was surprisingly bright and colorful. From the way he'd made it sound and how he neglected anything but his clothing, Kat had been expected some sort of bleak room with cement walls and a thin rug, maybe a cot in a corner or something. Snorting to herself at how wrong that mental image was and how luxurious her new surroundings were, she trotted up the stairs to curiously go inspect his studio. If he didn't want her up there, she reasoned, he'd say something. And besides, she was his doll, how else was he going to dress her up if she wasn't even up there? "Oh, these are gorgeous!" Kat exclaimed, her eyes going wide as she saw the mannequins with the gowns on them. There was color and fabric everywhere and she moved around them to look better, careful not to touch since she had a feeling he might cut her fingers off and call it a fashion statement if she ruined anything. About to ask if they were all his, she stopped, laughing a bit to herself. Of course they were. He was too arrogant to work with anyone and there was no reason he'd have someone else's designs in his studio. The question was a force of habit, she guessed, from people always copying others and taking what didn't belong to them, claiming them for their own.
"What's all this stuff here? Are they clothes you don't like, or what?" she asked curiously, going over to the boxes against the wall and peering at them. Honestly, she was aching to touch and look at them, but again - fingers. She needed fingers, but he didn't need her to have them just to be a doll. Reminding herself of that, the esper clasped them behind her back to avoid temptation and waited for an answer to her question, looking around. Most of the equipment was foreign to her, though she could name some of the fabrics she saw a few were mysteries as well. As for color - well, if he wanted her to know the difference between eggshell white and seashell white, he was going to be sadly mistaken. But at least she could appreciate the finished form and went back over to the mannequins, looking at the dresses and inspecting them, all the little details that made them masterpieces. "They're almost too pretty to wear," she remarked, making a face.

♣ ♣ ♣ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxK i m J o a n s M c ' K e n t h Kim would start messing with the party dress with the changing polka dots, easily lifting the skirt and starting to adjust the multiple color underskirt. Some of the pieces of cloth were hanging down purposely so that the color would change when one turned and danced properly, but it was a flaw considering it could probably snag easily. Licking his lips as he would eye it for the most part, the gears in his mind would start working and he would rip the fabric slowly. He elongated the pieces and widened them out, and stitched the far edges under the next color so that the colors would mix and change. Finishing it rather easily, he would barely take notice of Kat coming in, only when she had commented did he seem to come out of his daze, "You expected any less?" he'd state looking proud and arrogant as usual. As he would adjust the dress he would take a look at it and adjusted the skirt, it was knee length and long enough to have the colorful inner workings. The underside of the dress actually look like it had streamers running all under it, a rather neat affect considering it wasn't planned, but it worked out well. Moving over to a bright red one shoulder dress that had sequins embedded under and thin fabric giving it a glittering look under the lights, it was tightly fitted and pressed so that the dress didn't look layered, it took him a few days to finish it, due to the complications with every stitch needing to be exact. The skirt ran down to the ankle, around the back it was long but as it came to the front it shortened down to the thigh and flowed out. The dress itself didn't even have the look of being two parted like one would normally have it, in fact it ran into the same fabric layering as the top part. A master piece as the skirt hems were worked to be much like streams that ran down the sides of the body and look similar to that of the dress pooling off to the side.
Kimmy was adjusting the hemming on it as he would suddenly be watching Kat like a hawk, she seemed to have the sense to keep her hands to herself which was a rather good thing. When she took notice of the boxes he would smirk, "Old lines of clothing. You can pry through all of those that are in boxes...and when these have been put on display and have been copied, you can have these too." he'd state gesturing to the dresses in front of him, "I don't exactly wear women's clothing so you might actually have use of them." he'd snicker. When she complimented them again he would roll his eyes, "One of these days. If I have the patience I'll dress you up completely like I used to do. Lemme see..." he mumbled moving over to a tack board set up behind a large design desk that had large light and assorted cups of pens and pencils. It was raised at a 75 degree angle so that it didn't stress out his back when he would sit there for hours at a time. A bunch of sketches were pinned up by magnets on the desk, mimicking those of the dresses he had sewn together. Kim would drag his finger across his bulletin board filled with various clippings and pictures, dragging one down real quick he would walk back over to Kat and hold out the photos. It was a young plain looking woman on the first picture, wearing normal clothing that was out dated, and then behind that was a picture of her wearing the same clothing but with a different hair cut and make up and actually making the out dated older styled clothing look wonderful, "Not just talented in one thing...it would be boring if I was." he'd snort before snatching the pictures out of her hand once she was finished and moving to pin them back up.
Looking over the bulletin board a little more he would suddenly turn, "Strip. Completely and go stand over there." he'd suddenly order her and point to a small round platform with three mirrors surrounding it. He would then move over to one of the boxes that was marked with "Autumn" on it and easily pull it out opening it up and digging through it. Whether Kat followed what he said depended on her but he was going to get her settling in done now before he went on a binge of working, and before her food came. Fumbling through it he would soon locate ankle length dress and pull it out. The flowing gown was strapless and was short in the front, a curtain styled skirt where it opened high in the front and flowed out into a longer tress. The gown was completely white, but it faded to transparent below the waist and was speckled with false gold flakes, that would rain down into the train of the dress ti'll the hem of the dress was flaked gold. The top was tight fitted, but everything else was loose, a very beautiful gown all in all, and it was the easiest to take measurements in. He would bring it to her if she did as he asked.

x x x x x x Kat snorted, not at all surprised by his arrogant reply. If anything, she had been expecting it and wondered if there was any point at all in complimenting him. Shaking her head, she looked at all the clothing and then brightened up when said that she could wear the clothing in the boxes as she pleased. Who cared if they were out of an old line, they were sure to be fantastic since he made them and much nicer than anything she'd had so far. She pulled some out, looking at the colors and textures, pausing and looking up when he brought over something to her. Peering at the picture, her eyes widened when she saw the transformation in the girl. Of course he praised himself, but he definitely had earned it, she reasoned. It was hard to believe it was the same girl in both pictures, she was so classed up and pretty in the second one. "Well, I'm hardly that plain, it isn't as if you'll have to work very hard to make me more beautiful," Kat pointed out just as arrogantly, flicking some of her hair over her shoulder and returning to going through the clothing, mostly dresses. At the order to strip she snorted, looking over to where the mirror was. "Oh yes, go stand in front of a mirror that will point out every flaw. Well, I don't think I'll have much of a problem there," she replied with a smirk, straightening up and stretching a bit. At least she didn't have body issues, that was for sure, and didn't have much in the way of modesty, either.
Going over to the mirror, the young woman pulled off her clothing piece by piece, dropping them on the floor in a pile and leaving nothing but her underwear on. She hadn't been wearing a bra to start with and figured if he was going to dress her up, it was stupid to wear it if she'd had it, since it would just mess with the fit of the dress. Kat stepped up onto the platform, looking back over to Kim and watching as he went over and messed around in one of the boxes. She was more than curious to see what he was going to put her in and had her hands on her hips, clearly impatient while he pulled something out. The gown was absolutely gorgeous and any girl would feel like a princess wearing something like that. "It looks like a wedding dress, almost," Kat remarked, as he came over holding it. "It's stunning - I just tend to think any dress all in white looks like it should be worn with a veil down the aisle," she added with a snort. Excited to wear it, she did as told and let him get her in the dress. Her hair was almost as pale as the fabric draping over her and she pulled it over one shoulder to make getting the dress on easier on both of them. More than pleased to see herself in such a beautiful gown, Kat looked in the mirror, clearly preening. Her bust was a bit bigger than the gown's, but she mostly fit the rest of it, save for a few loose spots here and there. That was to be expected, since it hadn't been made to her measurements and was so fitted that it seemed it would only fit one person properly.
"I hope you don't design for women with stick figures. You should have gotten someone skinnier if that's the case," Kat remarked, pulling up a bit at the bust so it didn't fall off. Not that she had modesty, she just wanted to admire herself in it before he made her take it off. Humming a bit, she ignored him for a moment and turned in a circle, enjoying the mirror's angles that enabled her to see herself completely without craning her neck and twisting, which just messed up how the dress would fall. "I think I'm too pale for white and pastels, I look like a ghost. Unless that's the look you're going for," Kat remarked in amusement, admiring herself and grinning at her reflection. She finally stood still for him, figuring he wanted measurements, and let her arms fall to her sides. The only fitting she had ever had was for a bra in a department store, so she wasn't really sure how he wanted her. But she was pliable and compliment, doing what he said and moving how he wanted her to.

♣ ♣ ♣ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxK i m J o a n s M c ' K e n t h Kim would smirk when the woman started to praise her own beauty, "It is rather easy isn't it?" he'd tease her a bit before he would move about to put the box back in place. As she would move over to the mirror, she would mention it pointing out every flaw though she didn't seem to have much of a problem with that. Turning back to her while she was buck naked he would stand back and merely observe looking intrigued, "Pale all the way huh?" he'd snicker eyeing her breasts before he would hand off the dress to her. Moving away from her as he would get measuring tape off his desk and a few pins, easily pressing the pins between his teeth as he would move back over to her. She was admiring the dress as he held the measuring tape between his fingers, "I'm sure why most women wear it differently, but for most they wear it to night parties and masquerades with those...what do they call them? "******** me heels"? I designed it as a night gown, but people will use it for what they like hnn?" he'd snort holding the pins in his fingers for a brief moment before he would move around her looking over how it fit. Moving up in front of her he would easily pull the top up and pull a pin and bunch up part of the dress under her arm tightening up the top and pulling it taut over her skin.
Holding the metal pins in his teeth he would look to her when she mentioned stick figures and the like, then went on to mention white and pastels making her look like a ghost. Quirking an eyebrow at him and then snorting as he would pull the fabric back so that it was nicely set against her skin, "You look beautiful. Be quiet and let me work okay?" he'd grumble as he would stick the remaining few pins into the collar of his shirt and hold the measuring tape in his fingers. With little reaction he would easily check the size of her waist, pulling the measuring tape tightly around her as he would continue on to measure up. Under her chest, over, around her shoulders, neck, around her arms, he would smirk as he took note. Bending down and easily moving part of the skirt he would easily wrap the tape around each of her thighs, fingers moving lightly over the skin as he would measure down slightly. Licking his lips as he stood back up and wrapped his measuring tape around his neck, he would move over to her back and easily hitch part of it, pulling it over to the side and pinning it. Bringing part of the back over and having it flow down, it took on more of a look like a ball gown, "Hmm....a matching shawl would look nice with this...or a silver necklace." he'd mutter to himself. As he would mover her hair over to her side he would hear the sound of the phone ringing, making an annoyed noise he would move to her front and adjust part of her hair pulling a few locks over to the side and giving her a partial bang to it, making her look dressed to go somewhere though she lacked the shoes. Moving over to the phone by his desk he'd life it and roll his eyes, "Got it." he'd mumble before turning to look at her.
"Your food is here. Mind fetching it? I'm sure you wouldn't pass up a chance to show off hmm?" he'd question with a little smirk. The dress looked modified, the pin under her arm was otherwise unnoticeable and the back would be covered enough to hide the upper part of her thighs. Tilting his head as he would place the phone down and walk over, he would adjust part of the dress and it would move down slightly, but only the thinner veil, making it look rather ghostly, "Hmm...at least when I make more you'll have things that fit you....which also reminds me...." he rubbed his chin and took off his coat, "If you want to wear something that doesn't fit right, I'll fix it for you." he'd say as he pulled the key from his pocket and hand it to her, "Get back up here....try not to get too distracted." he'd snicker with a light smile before he'd move over to his desk and take a seat. He was probably going to start working soon, knowing how he was.

x x x x x x Oh, a compliment. Coming from someone like Kim, it meant far more than some pandering little drone fawning over her and Kat smirked, preening as she moved however he wanted her to, just like a doll. She fell quiet as ordered, watching as he worked his own form of magic on her. The more he adjusted the dress, the more that the young woman had to admit that she liked it and the paleness. She still thought she looked a bit ghostly, but just hearing someone so picky like her new master say she was beautiful filled her with pride, rather than the skeptical disdain she would have from anyone else speaking like that. They would be called ridiculous, or liars - she accepted a compliment from him without question because it was already quite clear that he didn't give them out very often. He was clearly...well, was he enjoying himself? He'd said he wanted someone to dress up, so Kat assumed that yes, he was enjoying himself as he muttered and took measurements and moved her around. At least he wasn't sticking her with needles and pins and bossing her around like some old woman in a bridal thought. Just the idea of him working with divas like rich brides-to-be made her snort, though she didn't move a muscle even with the laugh that escaped her. He ignored her, of course, and she would have had a hard time explaining why she thought it was so funny anyway. Then again, maybe not. Kim seemed to understand her points of views on people like that and even share them. They were useful, to him at least, since he made money off of them. And how much! The place was gorgeous and she was excited to live there. And even more excited that he was going to let her get a kitten. That was an unexpected treat.
When he answered the phone, Kat let her head turn to follow his motions, wondering who was calling. Her stomach growled when he mentioned her food, only reminding her that she hadn't eaten, and she had to roll her eyes at herself. When he said that he'd adjust anything she wanted to wear, her eyes widened a bit, partly out of surprise and mostly out of excitement. Oh, now she was getting spoiled and there was no stopping her once she got going. There was no doubt she wouldn't take advantage of him, not stupid enough to bite the hand that fed her as the saying went, but still. Just the idea that he'd let her choose what she wanted and fix it up so she could wear it...Kat was still a bit starstruck at the knowledge of who owned her and a bit in awe that she was the slave and he was doing things for her, instead of the other way around. The lack of shoes bothered her not at all, as he'd kept the dress high enough that there wasn't a danger of her tripping on it and falling, and she nodded at his order to get back up there quick. "Of course. I'll have much more fun up here than down there," she said cheerfully, giving him a smile that was more of a smirk as she sashayed to the stairs and then the elevator, walking like a model on a catwalk despite the lack of audience. It was a habit she had cultivated and now was going to get put to good use, she thought cheerfully.
To say heads turned when she walked downstairs barefoot in what looked like a ballgown, all white and pale and shining like a diamond, was an understatement. She noticed the reaction and smirked, heading to the front desk where a bag with her food had been left. Kat thanked the woman behind the desk, not going to actively cultivate enemies where a little politeness could do wonders, and gave one of the men staring at her a teasing smirk. Oh, she didn't have any interest in him at all - some short, fat little man that was probably someone's assistant anyway - but watching his face get so red was more than amusing. There were stares of envy by some of the models, most of them women, that she returned with a smirk that was pure satisfaction, like the cat that had gotten into the cream. Kat knew where she stood now in the hierarchy of this place and was hardly going to let some jealous little brats ruin her good mood. They didn't mean a thing to her anyway. So she tossed her head and headed back to the elevator, closing the doors before someone could follow her in, and tapped her foot impatiently as it took her to their floor. "You should have seen their faces," she announced, coming back up to the studio and setting her bag down near the door. "And can I get some help getting out of this? I'm hardly going to eat in it," she pointed out, hungry and wanting out.
