My friends said that the Sephiroth I fight at the end of game is a clone is this true and they said that the sephiroth real mom said that he is a clone.

he........ thats a good question sorry can't help but if a had to guess it would be he is a clone because doesn't cloud fight him in advent children

The Seph you did fight at the end was the real one. The other Sephiroth you saw during the game was a clone. It is so hard to justify who is in control really between Jenova and Sephiroth. The game has always been confusing.
The one in Advent Children however I'm not sure. They say that Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz are parts of Sephiroth but it might mean that they are clones as well. I think that the Seph in AC might have been the real one too since Kadaj was a part of Seph............I don't know.

I myself don't believe the Sephiroth in Advent Children is the real one, but a part of the real one. If it were the real sephiroth then why would it have taken one of his "offspring" to bring him back into existance? Plus if it were the real one, cloud would not be standing. Also to show how weak he is, only one of his clones made him, making him only 1/3 as strong as he should have been...

ahh, i'll try to explain
at the end you fight the real Sephiroth
he gets diffused into the lifestream
his will is too strong- he comes back- as three people-... thoughts actually
this happens because the lifestream dilluted his memories and body and split it in threes.

Kadaaj becomes Sephiroth- at 1/3 power. {actually, more i'd think}

it had a kickass battle scene.. biggrin
Sephiroth stopped cloud's attack with his WILL... no sword, nothing
Sephiroth then WILLED his sword into existance... YES it came because he WANTED it to...
isn't that great... all that power... biggrin
