After Leena reaches her destination, Freya flies down and lands beside her. "Looks like that's all of them... You there!" she says to the transporter. "You're the caravan from Eyris we were to meet, I presume? My name is Freya. I'll be escorting your group to the capital. As soon as you're all together, we'll depart."
After healing their injuries, Seth and Isadora ride up the mountain to where the rest of the group is waiting. "They completely blocked the path back to Eyris on this road..." the dame knight states. "I dispatched a message from the village below, but even if we get to work on it right away, the amount of huge boulders makes it look like we won't be able to clear the way for quite some time... and with everything going on, there aren't any people to spare, right now..." The crew member sighs lightly, but manages to spare a grin for the group. "Well, in any case... we still have our mission. Let's get to Archesis."
Following Freya's lead, the rest of their journey to the Estarcian capital is a peaceful one. At the city gates, they are greeted by known other than Cornelius, who sends a warm smile Isadora's way the moment their eyes meet. Once inside, Cornelius leads the group to the palace, where they can conduct their business. Before meeting with the king, Isadora gathers the group and thanks them for taking part in the mission. She distributes their payment, and encourages them to enjoy the city.
After the business for the supplies is concluded, Isadora bows and leaves the throne room, sighing once the doors are closed. King Cyric, who had recently returned for a short time, was kind and fair as always, but she knew the importance of treading carefully in situations like this, especially since she knew Estarcia needed supplies as well. Tired, she begins to head to her room, but stops and turns upon hearing her name. "You did well, as always." Cornelius says, with a smile. "Learania is lucky to have you."
After some small talk, Cornelius invites Isadora to have tea, which she gladly accepts. The two share a quaint evening filled with talk and laughter, a rarity in the times they live in. As the conversation begins to die down, Cornelius inquires about the prospect of her group taking on a mission for him. The two continue to talk, and eventually Isadora agrees.
Well, it's finally over. Thanks for sticking with me, those who did. School's tough. I'll still be doing Boardgame, I have a followup game to this one already mostly planned, but I won't be starting it soon.. maybe not until the summer, who knows. We'll see.
