Alecsander Bordaine ~~~Be you and I shall be me, and we will succeed.~~~ Alecs listened to Aster intently, and began to feel a little boost in self confidence. Whether he truly was charming or not was of no matter to him, she said he was charming, and that in itself was more than enough to boost his confidence.
"I am glad that I give you hope. I know someday our efforts, and the efforts of every member of our military will be able to change society. Someday we will not need these walls because of people like us. That day may not come soon, but it will come."
Alecs then began to feel uneasy as Aster spoke of her misfortune with men. It couldn't have been all her fault that these things had occurred.
"I do not believe it is your fault that one man has left you, for he seems to be a broken man anyways. And, I certainly do not believe that you caused the other's death. I couldn't imagine you doing such a thing.

Aster could not get why Alec idolized her so much in just one instance. Was she his Obsession? why did he have to be so nice? His words made her greyed out life colorful and brought that color back in her cheeks, he did not even think her scars were hideous!
Aster was starting to believe that this man was too good to be true, why would he want any interest in her , she assumed it must of been the want for a higher rank but he was too honest so it could not of been that..he put soo much faith in her that she felt an ego boost of her own.
" Alec stop with your flattery it is embarrassing..why are you concerned for me?"

You handled every situation today, perfectly. Plus, I mean, you have seen titans, and you survived. There are many that can't even say that. I know you do not need my concern, but at the same time, I feel like due to your past, you may actually need it after all. I know that sounds kind of weird and contradicting.."
Alecs again, stared into the fire. something so beautiful could cause so much harm and damage in mere seconds, it was astounding to him. He felt that Aster was probably the same on the battlefield. He had never fought a titan, but he felt that it probably wasn't easy, so to still be alive after an encounter, that person must be very skilled.

Aster seemed confused.If she was not already, Alec was a rather simple man whom seemed to be lacking in the ability to answer her questions, rather than respond to them he delighted in making her head explode with boost after boost of her ego and this was clearly not boding well for Aster.
If she wanted someone to worship her, she had tons of Cadets weaseling their way into her good books for a chance for an easy promotion and to discredit their Corporal, and he could charm with that smile all he wanted but she was so annoyed with him she just wanted to remove that smile, even if it was a discredit to the service if she cracked his smile with a few broken teeth, she found herself grinding her own teeth trying her best to restrain her irritation,
Sucking in a breath she breathed it out in a perfect boom of throwing her voice so that near anyone in the vicinity could possibly hear,
" Cadet Alec Bordaine!! Will you please refrain from brown nosing.. i am quite aware to you the sun shines out of my a*****e and that i fart daisies and spew rainbows..this infatuation you have with me freaks me out! I cannot cope with it.. i just cannot cope with someone saying how absolutely perfect a person i am..It pisses me off...it infuriates me to capacity that i am going to overload with kindness in punches if you do not stop this unhealthy worship.. i aint no goddess.. and i see no alter with my name on it...save this utter bullshit for when i am dead.. you have known me but a day.. just one fricken day!...stop tooting your horn of praise ...I have my mistakes and i am imperfect.....like any other sinner and i refuse to be seen as some lilly white virgin...when i can tell ya..this rose you want to pluck has her thorns and you will get stung if you are not careful trigger..."

Alecsander Bordaine ~~~Be you and I shall be me, and we will succeed.~~~ "I'm very sorry, I wasn't trying to make you feel that way, I was just showing my admiration for those who are training myself, as well as the other cadets. I look up to you guys. You have faced the very thing that many of us fear, and you lived to tell the tale."
With that, Alecs stood up and brushed himself off. Making sure that he was not going to track anything into the barracks, for he knew that some of the other cadets would probably hate to get their pressed, bleached shirts, and folded jackets dirty.
"I'm going to get back to the barracks. Maybe we will talk some other time."
Alecs saluted the Corporal and began to walk back towards his barracks, slowly drifting off into the darkness.
