The Chosen: Name: Alastair White
Age: 26
Appearance: Medium height (around 5'8 ), Alastair has dark mahogany-brown hair and eyes, and a slight tan, along with a medium build. He moves with an athletic, graceful sense of purpose. His position in life might be one of the 'idle rich', but he stays relatively active, physically, enjoying the physical outlet of boxing, fencing, and horseback riding (while skilled at all three, the only one that he's truly good at is fencing) - as he's settled more into a routine, he relishes what time he has to himself; oddly content to be surrounded by nature when he gets the chance. He dresses fashionably, but more on the sober side, without an excess of decoration or discomfort.
Background: Born into a wealthy, moderately high-ranking noble family, Alastair had a lot of opportunities; he's educated, and never wanted for anything - although his father did not believe in spoiling his only child, he didn't see a need to deny him things unduly, either. Content to stick to what was familiar, Alastair enjoyed his first forays into young adulthood, always living in the moment - whether he was boxing, or carousing, he never saw a reason to not throw himself into things wholeheartedly...as long as he wasn't embarrassing the family, that is.
However, not long after Alastair turned 22, his parents were killed in a carriage accident, and he was suddenly expected to take over responsibilities that he'd only begun to understand, even as he struggled to deal with his grief. While his father had been far from irresponsible, Alastair realized quickly that he needed to deal with things more progressively, if he was to maintain the holdings for any sort of future generation.
Burying himself in his affairs, he spent the next couple years learning as much as he could, from the ground up, and so spent a great deal of time with everyone from his solicitor to villagers living on his family's land, finding that the experience has been oddly gratifying at times, but on some levels also horrifying for someone who never had had to worry about anything more pressing than who to partner in a dance, or where he wished to spend his day.
Finding that he no longer quite fits in with the life he used to live, he now splits his time between a residence in eastern Palisade, and a smaller country home just outside of Oldcastle. He's far from a social hermit, but spends more time dealing with people outside of his own class, instead of engaging in the social whirl. Politically, he tries to stay abreast of what is going on, although his more modern views on most things war with his own concerns over the mounting evidence of the re-emergence of the Wolves, and the reinstatement of the Wardens. He's still in a state of tumult, and trying to figure out where exactly he stands with his views on old, traditional beliefs and values and a more 'modern' approach to life, and society as a whole.
As he's gotten a better handle on things, he has more time to devote to something other than managing things, although he's finding it hard to find what he still enjoys, after spending so long with scarcely a breather.
Personality: Proud, devoted and driven, he's oddly considerate of those outside of his own class - one of the things he started to take notice of after taking up the reins of his family's estate and holdings was the livelihoods of those who he employs, and it's given him a broader understanding of things that were previously completely alien. Detail-oriented, he has a tendency of sometimes losing sight of the forest, and getting entirely caught up in the individual trees...so to speak. While no genius, he's on the quick-witted side, and so is sometimes prone to a sense of intellectual superiority that isn't always deserved.
Easily frustrated when things do not fall immediately into place as he thinks they ought, and sometimes equally quick to show his temper, Alastair nonetheless tries to be fair-minded, sometimes choosing to table decisions until he's in a cooler frame of mind. He's also fortunately stubborn, or he'd never get anything done, and is usually able to work through his frustrations, sometimes finding they in fact give him additional motivation in addressing whatever issue he's struggling with.
((I'll add more onto this later/try to clean it up and clarify once I'm not so braindead, I just wanted to get it down to refer to later while it was fresh in my mind xD. Hopefully not too much contradicts itself, and lends to my easily just having to expand on his personality a bit more, later.))

The Guardian: Name: Vapor Personality: Playful and lighthearted, like a ghostly tendril of fog, Vapor sometimes serves to remind Alastair of his own more easygoing youth. Not all fun and games though, Vapor is the more likely of the two to respond aggressively, if pushed, unhampered by his human chosen's sense of propriety and courtesy.
((more...TBA as I hopefully roll these two out in RP/flesh this out a bit more when I also update Alastair's info later~))
