The Physical Move Tutor

So you wish for your Pokemon to learn a new Physical Move Tutor move? Then look no further! Head to Reversal Mountain in Unova. On top of the mountain you'll find a cabin owned by a middle aged woman named Phyllis. She lives on the mountain perfecting the art of Physical moves with her Pokemon, Gigalith, Conkeldurr, Haxorus, and a Smeargle with red paint. She believes a good punch can solve all problems. Whether you agree or not, she can help you teach your Pokemon any Physical Move Tutor move.

Be sure not to mention her fellow triplet, her brother Spence, those two argue all the time.

-Objective:
---Have Phyllis teach your Pokemon a new Physical Move Tutor move!

-Opposition:
---Whatever you want, her Pokemon, wild Pokemon, etc.

-Pokemon:
---You may not capture a Pokemon.

-Rewards:
---A new move and Snag Coins.

(Note: You decide the content of the mission entirely. Want your Pokemon to learn Iron Tail? Maybe Phyllis will have your Pokemon try and break through a bolder with its tail or something, get creative!)

JT traveled with his young Teddiursa after returning the Absol from his mandatory mission. He was very happy because he wasn't fond of that pokemon. HQ was kind enough to allow him to keep the Teddiursa as his own. Being that it was a baby, it had no problem acknowledging JT as his new owner and completely forgetting the Cipher grunt who once was its trainer. "Well, Teddiursa it's just you and me now. And we're going to be the best we can be, right?" he asked gripping his fist in excitement. "URRR!" the baby responded with a smile.

JT came across a move tutor notice at the Mission Locker and checked it out. "Hmmm." he said scratching his chin. He pulled out his SNAG to check his Teddiursa's moveset. "Well, these moves aren't very impressive." he said. Teddiursa instantly went into a funk and secluded itself in a corner. "But, you are just a baby so it's nothing to be upset over. We'll just go to this move tutor to teach you a different move." he pointed to the paper. The baby ran back over to JT and hugged his leg. "Let's head to Reverse Mountain in Unova." he smiled. "URSA!"

After 60 hour boat ride from Kanto to Unova, they finally arrived. "Alright. Now we just need to head to reverse mountain and find this cabin." he said looking at a map.So, we just need to head to Undella Town and then head East. Seems easy enough." he said looking at Teddiursa. It knodded with a smile. A few hours of travelling, and running from higher level pokemon, they've finally reached their destination...or not. "Route 18?!" he shouted. He vigorously rubbed his head in frustration. JT has never been good at reading maps. "UGGGHHH! How did we get here?!" he said. Teddiursa stomped it's feet in disappointment. Upset that they aren't at their intended destination.

JT found it pretty funny and it cheered him up a bit. "You hate getting lost, huh?" he asked patting it's head. Teddiursa just stood there with a puss on its face. Its' ear twitches. It hears something in the grass. It's a wild pokemon, but what is it? It's a Patrat! Angered that it was awoken by all the commotion. It attacks Teddiursa without hesitation with a Scratch attack.

Teddiursa stumbles out of the way. It was less than graceful considering it had no experience. "Teddiursa! Growl." he ordered. It stood to its feet balled its fists and let out a growl. The attack being effective, the opposing Patrat's attack decreased. "Now, Tackle!" JT said. Teddiursa lowered its head and rammed it right into the stomach of the Patrat. The opposing pokemon rolled backwards about six feet and stood to its feet and used scratch.

It was so quick it connected. The damage was less than expected though. Teddiursa use Tackle and then Scratch.Once again its head was lowered rushing at the opponent. This time it connected with the wild Patrats face. It rolled backwards a couple more feet than before and Teddiursa leaps into the air. With gravity pushing down on the Teddiursa, its attack did a bit more than it should and fainted the wild pokemon.

"Good job! Your first win!" he said. Teddiursa ran towards JT and hugged his leg again. They went to the nearest town with a Pokemon center and healed up. "Excuse me can you tell me how to get to Reverse Mountain?" he asked. Once he got the correct directions, he followed them to a tee and kept moving. "Here we are. Reverse Mountain." he observed. "Now we have to go through this and get to the cabin. Easy enough." he strolled into the cabin. Not even five minutes into the cave, JT and Teddiursa found themselves running for their lives. These Pokemon were way out of their league.

Getting lost countless times and and incredible cardio workout they manage to get out of the cave and find the cabin. JT meekly knocks on the cabin door and passes out along with Teddiursa. They wake up the next with a Conkeldurr in their face. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" screamed JT. It was so alarming Teddiursa nearly wet himself. JT patted his chest trying to calm down his heart. "Ah, so you're awake." he heard a voice.

A middle aged woman entered from the front room. "My name is Phyllis and I'm sure I know why you're hear. Considering you're not from here." she laughed. "Uhh, yeah. I'd like for my Teddiursa to know a more powerful move so I can carry out missions with more ease." he explained. "Teddi!" he confirmed. Phyllis giggled a bit and gestured them to follow her.

"Which move would you like to learn, boy?" she asked. "Aerial Ace, please." he responded. "Interesting choice for a Teddiursa." she replied. "Hax!" she shouted he voice echoing due tot he mountains. Loud footsteps were approaching and within the noise revealed its source. A huge Haxorus. "Would you show them Aerial Ace, please." she asked. "Rus!" it said as it turned to a tree. It gathered its footing and rushed the tree. The wind resistance became visible and it mouth illuminated just as it connected with the tree and chopped it clean in half.

"Wow." "Ur." they said in unison. "Now that Haxorus has shown you, you will have an easier time learning it." Haxorus disappeared and went back to whatever it was doing. "Alright, Teddiursa. You ready?" "Ursa!" he said. "Aerial Ace!" he commanded. Teddiursa ran towards the tree and just scratched it. "What? Why didn't it work?" he asked himself. "Hahaha!" Phyllis laughed. "It seems as if you didn't see it." she said walking back into the cabin.

"See what?" he asked. She didn't respond and closed the door while chuckling. "We'll figure it out. Teddiursa, Aerial Ace!" he said. After hours and hours of the same thing, they were both exhausted and decided to rest. The fell asleep longer than intended and woke up in a frenzy. They immediately began training again. Another day passed and they still haven't successfully learned the technique.

Teddiursa was now questioning its comprehensive abilities and went into a funk in a secluded area. "Teddiursa, don't worry. There's nothing wrong with you. We're just doing something wrong. We'll figure it out together!" he gripped his fist. Teddiursa ran back over to him and hugs his leg. "Once more! Aerial Ace." he shouted. They were both exhausted and dirty from the excessive training of learning one technique. "Come on JT! What's not happening?! What are you missing?!" he thought. Then he noticed!

Teddiursa's hand is wide open as if it's doing a scratch attack. "It makes so much sense now. With its hand open the wind is giving it to much resistance. Meaning it can't reach its top speed allowing it to get the speed it needs to gain power!" he realized. JT ran over to Teddiursa, which was now exhausted and stood on his to lower his height. He grabbed Teddiursa by the shoulders and shook him a bit. "I figured it out, Teddiursa!" he smiled. "Make your nails form a point! Don't keep your hand open. Make it into a point, got it?!" he asked.

Teddiursa face completely changed from one of exhaustion to one of realization. It readied itself and awaited the order. "Aerial Ace!" he shouted. Teddiursa ran over to the tree, now covered it scratch marks at a speed that was much improved with training. It made its claws into a point and the started to glow and you saw the wind resistance swirl around it. It connected with the tree and created a large gash almost cutting the tree in half.

"And with that it's complete." said Phyllis. "It's also the trainers responsibility to figure out his pokemon problems and solve them in the best way. You're observation was the key to learning this technique. You're Teddiursa now knows Aerial Ace. Come back whenever you want to learn another move, son." she said walking back into the cabin. "Thank you very much, Sensei!" he shouted before passing out. Once again, Teddiursa followed suit. They woke up the next day and sprinted through the mountain and they were on their way home. JT activated his SNAG and reported it in. Both stronger than ever.

A Pain in the Grass. No. 001

Poster: Youngster John

“In our small town here, of Pallet, there has been a lone pokemon attacking trainers who have received their first pokemon from Professor Oak. The reason that the pokemon is doing this is...well...I don't know. The pokemon is a Bulbasaur, just...a regular Bulbasaur. I don't care what you do with the pokemon, just take it away so the new trainers aren't beaten when they leave for the first time on their journey. It's obvious that the Bulbasaur is stronger than the pokemon given to the new trainers by Professor Oak, giving it easy wins. Please, find a way to get the Bulbasaur to leave one way or another. Again I say, I don't care what you do with it, just take it away from our town.”

Now, this is what is stated on the poster. To make a long story short, there's a Bulbasaur that is attacking the new trainers of Pallet. The poster just wants you to get rid of it. You can do what you want with it, catch it, drive it away, or give it to someone. It doesn't matter to me, just complete the bounty.

-Objective:
Get the Bulbasaur away from Pallet .

-Pokemon:
Bulbasaur if you want to catch it, or a pokemon egg may be given on the mission

-Rewards:
Depends on quality of mission. For instance, anywhere between 1-5 Snag Coins could be given based on the mission quality, among other things.

JT and Teddiursa returned to HQ. New and improved. With a perfected Aerial Ace and new confidence, they were going to take on another mission. JT walked past the Mission Locker and noticed one about a Bulbasaur. "Wow, we have a move that's effective to it's type now." he said to Teddiursa. The pokemon looked confused as to what he was talking about. "Bulbasaur is a Grass Type. Although you're a Normal Type, you just learned a new Flying Type move. Remember?" he smiled. Teddiursa jumped with excitement at the fact that he was becoming stronger. He hugged his leg and jumped onto his shoulder raring to go. "Getting pumped? Me too!" he gripped his fist.

They headed out the door on their way to Pallet Town in Kanto. Where JT was born. "Only been back for 15 minutes and now we're on out the door again. Good thing we slept a lot in Unova." he said. On the Magnet Train to Kanto, JT was playing with Teddiursa's face. Stretching it into different funny faces. "This is pretty fun." he smiled. Teddiursa didn't feel the same way and Scratched him across the face. He held his face in pain and shouted at the small bear pokemon. "I'll get you for that." he shouted jumping up. JT chased Teddiursa from car to car. Knocking people over and causing havoc. Teddiursa, being so small, had no problems avoiding people in the cars.

Finally, Kanto was reached and they both were thrown of the train. People whistled, applauded and cheered at the fact the menaces were of the train. "Tch, whatever." he said as he looked to the closing doors. As the train pulled off, JT flicked Teddiursa in the head knocking him over. Now they were on their way to Palltet Town. "Nostalgic." he said taking it all in. "Annnnd the moments over." JT walked over to citizens of Pallet Town looking for Youngster John. After about an hour of looking for him he revealed himself. "Hey, looking for me?" he asked.

"Youngster John? I'm here because of your Bulbasaur problem. Tell me where it is and I'll get rid of it." JT said. "You just head off into that route over there and it'll be in there somewhere. It targets all of our new trainers not letting them pass him. Please help so people can proceed with their journey." he pleaded. Teddiursa rushed into the tall grass first. Anxious to test its new move, it went scouting for Bulbasaur. "Teddiursa wait!" he shouted running after it.

JT searches for Teddiursa in the tall grass. It was pretty difficult considering how short he was. "Teddiur-AH!" he tripped. "What was that?" he asking petting his head. He noticed a large green bulb on the back of something moving. It was the Bulbasaur. The Bulbasaur with a big red mark on his forehead where JT accidentally kicked him. "Crap." he said monotonically. "Saur!" the pokemon exclaimed releasing Vine Whip. "Owowowowowow!" he said as he was repeatedly wahcked. Wherever JT moved his hands the Bubasaur would change his target. Meaning, if he moved his hands over his butt, Bulbasaur would whip his back. And if he where to cover his back he would hit his head. "Teddiursa! Where are you?! Owowowowow!" he shouted.

Then, a loud rustling in the grass was heard and a collision soon after. "The attacks stopped?" said JT. He turned to see Teddiursa standing with his chest puffed out proud that he saved his trainer. Then JT noticed something. "Are those little pieces of berries in your nails?" he asked with his posture lowered feeling a bit inadequate. Teddiursa slowly brought his arms to his chest and crossed them. "Don't try to hide the evidence!" he shouted at him. "Wait! Where's Bulbasaur?" he looked around. Teddiursa turned to hear a low growl. By the time he looked, it was too late. He became a victim to a Tackle attack. he was flung a few feet backwards and stood to his feet immediately.

"Follow me, Teddiursa. We can't fight in this thick grass. He has the upper hand of camouflage." he said running to and open field. Teddiursa quickly followed as did Bulbasaur. When it breached the tall grasses opening, JT and Teddiursa were prepared for a battle. "Growl!" he ordered. The bear pokemon gripped his fists together and let out a Growl lowering the attack of the opposing Grass type. "Now that Tackle won't do as much." he said. Bulbasaur didn't care about his stat change, he charge anyway. "Return the favor, Teddiursa!" he said. It lowered his head and rushed at his opponent.

Bulbasaur was overpower and was thrown. It landed on its feet and released its Vine Whips again. "Not that." JT shuddered as his sores from the things started to sting. Bulbasaur wrapped Teddiursa in the vines and slammed him against the ground repeatedly and let him go. "Urrrr!" he said getting up. "Use it, Teddiursa! Aerial Ace!" he shouted. Its tenacity appeared in its eyes and he took off at full speed towards the Bulbasaur.

The air resistance began to show around the glowing claws of Teddiursa as he sprinted to the little Grass Type. "Ursa!" it exclaimed as the technique connected tossing it into the air. "Now's my chance!" he said throwing a pokeball. The Pokeball showed no resistance to the capture. It was practically instant. "We aren't done yet, Teddiursa." he said as Teddiursa was hugging his leg. Teddiursa nodded and jumped onto his shoulder. After a few days of travelling, they made it to Celadon city.

"This is the place." he said taking out Bulbasaur's pokeball. He clicked the button in the center and released the Grass Type. "Saur?" it said. "This is it. Celadon City. The place where Grass Types fit in the most. I figured you were upset because you didn't have anyone around like you and you felt like a pariah. So, I think this might help." he explained. "The gym is South of the city. And it specializes in Grass. Make a lot of friends and get strong." he said running out of the city.

The Bulbasaur stood there. Surprised that a man would go to these lengths to help a pokemon who only caused trouble. It shouted to show its appreciation and then headed towards the Gym. "Ur?" it tapped JT's head. "Why didn't we keep him? Because, my rank only lets me have a certain amount of pokemon. And he wanted to meet another Grass Type. I don't want two Grass Types on my team as of now." he explained. "Ur! Ur Ur!" he shouted to him. "He's not going to go back to Pallet Town. The pokemon in the grass are too high of a level. I'm surprised we made it here. By the time he's strong enough to get passed all the Pokemon, he'll have made wonderful friends. He won't leave. Now, let's go home." he said. "Ur!"
