He took her in and taught her the ways of his kind, now her kind. 5 years ago Damon was murdered by a vampire hunter leaving his adopted daughter Rinata Faolan his entire fortune, home and mansion with one wish. For her to be eternally happy. However Rinata was never happy until she met Immitis. She kidnapped him and raised him in the ways of vampires and on his 21st birthday she turned him before committing suicide.
