s**t... Here it came.

He gasped as the cigarette was swatted out of his mouth. With a growl, Jace stood up and glared at the shorter male as well, once he was done yelling at him. He had to keep calm. He wasn't about to lose it so that his accent came out. No.. But he was so ******** close with Darren yelling at him like this. Sure, he probably deserved it after everything, but to honestly just start yelling at him? Jesus christ, manners. Have oyu ever heard of them? Taking a deep breath, Jace kept his voice calm to the best he could, but it was wavering with slight anger. "Don't you think I wanted to call?" he finally said.

"Don't you think that I wanted to come and visit you? Visit her?! Your mother was nice to me and I miss her, yes, but I just learned about this before you came back! Nobody told me s**t." he told Darren. It was true. To Darren, it was like Jace didn't care, but to Jace, it seemed more like Darren just up and vanished. "I asked my parents, Darren. They ******** told me that you moved away and not to worry! I didn't have a phone number or anything to call you!" And now his voice was beginning to rise- slowly, but surely. What exactly could he even say to make this better? Whatever he was going to say was going to come out sounding like a lie, he figured.

But he had to try. "What am I supposed to do, huh? Finally see you and finally understand why you left after so long?! Don't you think I tried?! Every time I saw you, I wanted to go and say something to you, but you turned away and walked off every. Single. Time." This day was complicated and he was beginning to hate it. Hating his parents for lying to him, hating the world for dumping this s**t on him, hating Darren for yelling at him and knocking his cigarette away. God, he really needed that right now. Golden eyes didn't stray from the form in front of him and they weren't about to. They stayed, staring at the face that he had missed and the boy that he remembered, and yet now this boy had changed in front of his very eyes. He was.. different.

♛ -- Keep in mind that I'm a fulltime college student that works as a waitress. I will try to be on, but I won't be here all the time.
♛ -- I like to make my posts pretty. I don't mind if your posts aren't that long or pretty, but at least an image and a paragraph or two would be nice.
♛ -- If things are getting boring, PM me and we can work something out. Plotting is good so.
