The Sanderson Brothers were playing a game of basketball, a game they were nearly evenly matched at. The son of Apollo was good at aim, but the son of Hermes was good at speed. They often were playing together to see who would best the other. Simon shot the ball and got nothing but net. Timothy rushing forward and grabbing the ball and dashing as he dribbled across the court. Successfully doing a slam dunk. "That's 10 to 9. I win." said the younger brother. "Yeah, well I still won the last game." Simon retorted. Smiling Simon ruffled his younger brother's hair.

Timothy pushed his brothers hand away and smirked. "Well, I still am better." he said sticking his tongue out and tucking the basketball under his arm. "Maybe you are, maybe you aren't. First one to 15 wins was the deal." Simon said. "But for now, I'm off to my cabin." Said the son of Apollo as Simon walked off.

Cas strolled past the basketball slowly, his arms crossed and a bored expression on his face. Suddenly he was putting on the brakes, a boy a few feet in front of him. Normally Cas would've continue his walk, but he felt social and he hadn't talked to such a good-looking boy in a while.
"Well, hello there. Did you beat him?," he asked, tilting his chin towards the other boy on the court. He assumed they had just played, judging by the sweat.

This was how every morning went for her...She woke, showered, dressed, ran down to the Dining Pavilion for a quick bite, followed by a brisk walk around the camp to keep herself in shape before going down to the amphitheater for her morning warm ups. She liked the amphitheater in the early day...It was usually quiet then and relatively deserted...the perfect place for practicing her singing without many people over hearing. After all, she didn't like crowds much. They had a way of rubbing off on her or rather...vise versa.

Teal tennis shoes patted their way across the pavement as Tristessa the Teal-haired Tragedy kept up the pace on her morning walk. Black jeans slashed along the legs from top to bottom swished backwards and forwards with every stride and the loose, breezy fabric of her teal tank top and the cotton-soft black vest that covered it bounced slightly with the rhythm of her step. With black bows in her blue-green hair and her eyes painted up in matching colors, her black and teal studded bracelets gave a light jingle wherever she went....but they certainly weren't the only sound in the air.

As she neared the basketball court the sounds of shoes scuffling against the ground and the grunts of a one on one match were almost unmistakable...and was that a third person's voice that she heard? Probably a bystander, she figured as she came around the corner to find to her delight that she had been utterly correct. She paused for a moment, her bouncing blue-green curls of hair coming to a standstill as she tilted her head and innocently observed the small group of three boys....Oh boys...She had never kept good company with the opposite gender. She never knew what to say or what they were thinking. Still, it would have been rude not to say, hello. Wouldn't it have?
"Ahh, h-hello!" she lightly stuttered and raised her hand to give a small wave and a smile. It was hardly anything impressive but...as previously stated...she didn't much like the attention of crowds.

Timothy waved at his brother as he went off and started to dribble the ball. He did not notice the passing boy until he spoke. Timothy looked at him, studying him for a moment. "Simon? Yeah, Barely. We're pretty evenly matched. Final Score was 10 to 9." he answered as he wiped sweat from his forehead.

He studied the boy again for a moment. "You're that Aphrodite boy." he concluded, finally realizing where he saw him before. It was on that moment a teal haired girl arrived, greeting them rather shyly. "Hey." Timothy said as he looked at the pair who had arrived. Well I wonder who's gonna speak up first. he thought as he looked at the girl. She did not look familiar, so the son of Hermes assumed she was newer to the camp, probably not first day new, but less than a year.

Looking around for a moment he unconsciously started to dribble the ball again. There really needed something to go on. These three were just standing here, no one really providing conversation. Suddenly Timothy was wishing his brother was still here, Simon could chat up a storm with anyone, even if they just met.

Cas smiled and held out a hand. "Nice. I'm Cassius Jones, you can just call me Cas," he said. A third person joined them, and he smiled at her, repeating the introduction. In the small silence that followed, Cas rocked on his heels.
"So uh, I'm head of the Aphrodite Cabin. Where are you guys from?" He said, somehow trying to ask their cabin and hometown. He didn't really have much interest in sports, he'd just been out and about, but he wondered if they did. The girl didn't really seem like it.

The greetings were quite casual just as Tris had expected. It seemed she had arrived at a less than opportune moment as the two boys before her had just begun a conversation. She hadn't meant to interrupt and now that she knew that she had, she felt a bit silly but she took to merely bashfully tucking a long strand of teal hair behind her ear before clasping her hands behind her back. The first to speak was the boy who seemed to have been playing basketball before...whether or not he had been doing so with another or merely by himself, she wasn't sure but he gave her a small hello to which she nodded her head in thanks. The second to speak, was the dark-haired of the two and a dashingly handsome young man if she did say so herself. However, the introduction that he gave explained all that... A son of Aphrodite? That sounded rather interesting. Aphrodite was known for her beauty and lustful behavior, wasn't she? This fellow was indeed beautiful. She wondered if the lustful attribute flowed in his blood as well.

"Oh! Uh, Tristessa." Tess introduced herself with a small, polite curtsey. "Daughter of Melpomene, the er...Muse of Singing and Tragedy." Tess's eyes wandered back and forth between the two males, flashing them both a small hint of a smile. "I'm terribly sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt your game." she said to the boy who looked as though he had been playing. "I was on my way to the Amphitheater and I thought it might have been rude if I didn't say hello." she explained. She hadn't expected to make such conversation but while she was here, she might as well have tried.

Timothy nodded at each introduction, still dribbling the ball unconsciously. "Timothy Sanderson. Son of Hermes. The sore loser you saw me play with is my brother, Simon Sanderson. He's a son of Apollo." he said with a smile, and now he waited for the questions. People always wondered how two biological siblings could be born to two different gods. The odds of it happening were slim, or so they've been told. And it seemed to follow through.

Glancing at the girl he raised an eyebrow. "Child of one of the Muses? That's not very common." he said. When the girl apologized he smiled at her. "Oh, we weren't playing. I was playing Simon and he left after I won, said he was heading to his cabin." he said with a smile.

Looking at the pair, he wondered what they would talk about, they all had varying traits and not much in common it seemed for at first. Unless they wanted his services, pranks, thefts, getting things. Yeah that's what the son of Hermes was good at, and most often then not that is why people approached him.

Triss perked up a bit when the boy introduced himself as Timothy Sanderson, Son of Hermes and his brother, Simon, son of Apollo. She took mental note of two blood related brothers being sired to two different gods and found it, honestly, peculiar but who was she to judge things like that? No, she thought it was far more delightful to think about two brothers attending the same camp together. That must have been nice. She had often mused upon the idea of having an older sibling...especially during her years in the orphanages... but, Alas, she had not been blessed with any siblings that she was aware of...probably a good thing too for it wasn't like being the daughter of the muse of tragedies made for an incredibly happy life. A small frown faded over her smile as she thought this but she quickly blinked and shook it off. My, how her thoughts tended to wander when she was holding conversation with others.

She blinked towards the boy, Timothy, as he commented about her being a child of a muse. For some reason, this made her laugh a sort of bittersweet chuckle and she lifted her hand to nervously twirl a few strands of hair at the back of her head. "Oh! Hahaha well...yeah. That's...probably a good thing... she mentioned, saying the last part as a mere murmur under her breath as her eyes wandered far to the right, looking away from the two boys as though shy to talk about the subject but, the truth was, she simply didn't like to reflect poorly upon her parentage...or think too much about her own past as it had a tendency to make her terribly upset.

She tried her best to put the thoughts from her mind and cleared her throat. "Ah, well...regardless, I'm sorry I missed your brother then. He seemed...er...nice from a distance." she said, unsure of how she felt about the phrasing of her words. Was it just her or did that sound a tad awkward. Oh, she wasn't very good at speaking casually, was she? It seemed her people skills were a bit rusty. Perhaps she needed to get out of her cabin a bit more.

Cas looked at Timothy with one eyebrow cocked. This guy was pretty competitive, or maybe he was just showing off. He did think it was slightly strange that one human woman would've had relations with two different gods. She was probably just a very captivating person, he thought.
He didn't really know what to say to Timothy at the moment. He couldn't tell if that was because he felt awkward or because Timothy was too bright to look at for more than five seconds, so he turned to Triss.
"So uh, what do you like to do? Hobby-wise?"
Might be good to learn a little about the people he was with.

For a split second longer, a strange air of silence hung in the atmosphere around the three newly acquainted campers as each seemed to be momentarily collecting his or her own thoughts. While Tris couldn't speak for the other two, she herself had been wondering whether her last choice of phrasing had come off as odd or not as she often found it difficult to know just what to say in circumstances such as these...but thankfully she hadn't needed to ponder it for very long for, as the seconds ticked away and the quiet moment quickly passed, one of the two males spoke up causing her train of thought to completely derail itself and her eyes to blink around as if in some sort of daze to find the speaker to be none other than the son of Aphrodite himself. Tris felt her head tilt ever so slightly as the young man inquired about her hobbies. Hobbies? Gee...now that she thought about it...what did she like to do in her spare time?

"Oh...uhm...' she began with a slight mutter and trailing off as if needed to deeply consider her answer before giving it. What were her hobbies? She repeated the question again in her mind and bit her lip in thought. There wasn't much that she had any talent for...unless you counted being the ultimate bad luck magnet. Well...maybe that wasn't entirely true. She did greatly enjoy music...and reading. Could those be considered hobbies? She guessed it was better than nothing and took a small breath, finally parting her lips to speak. "I...like to sing?" she said, stating it as more of a question than a fact and glancing back and forth between the two boys as if questioning whether or not that was an acceptable answer. "I uh...don't get out much, I'm afraid." she then awkwardly confessed. "It's troublesome for my 'health', you could say..."

Timothy blinked. No questions about his family? That was abnormal. And being a demigod abnormal was expected. Instead of inquiring how his mother had attracted two gods, these two turned the conversation elsewhere. Titling his head slightly, Timothy stopped dribbling the ball and tucked it under his arm. "I'm pretty much open to anything, I'm a jack-of-all-trades you could say." he said and with a smile he dropped the ball, stopping it with his foot and pulling out a nice little pocket knife with various other tools. "Just let me know if you need anything from the outside, or from anyone, or get something to someone." he said tossing the pocketknife into the air and catching it. The blade now sticking out. "That's what I am particular good at." he said flicking the blade shut. A smirk crossed his face. "So if you ever need my services just let me know." he said a wink. "For now, I'm thinking of getting some food." he said with a smile. Kicking the basketball into the air he caught it, barely, it brushed against the tips of his fingers and fumbling slightly, it fell into his hand. "Not so good at that yet." he said with a chuckle.

Cas looked at Tris patiently, waiting for her to say something. When she responded, he grinned immediately.
"Singing is cool. What types of music do you like?"
He did wonder what she meant about her health, but Timothy was talking now and he didn't want to interrupt.
So, apparently Timothy was the smuggler. Interesting. Cas blinked when Timothy said something that was undoubtedly...suggestive.
"I'll make sure to let you know," he said with small chuckle and a quick wink back, mostly just playing around. He didn't want to make Tris uncomfortable.
