She seemed to have a difficult time digesting what Virali was saying. Her tiny face screwed up in an expression of frustration and confusion, and she leaned forwards as far as she possibly could without falling off the top of the staff. "Yes," she said after a moment's hesitation. While she seemed to want to believe what Virali was saying, it was conflicting with her previous dealings with mages. Or a mage, would be more accurate.
She sighed, leaning back again and starting to scurry down the staff, but clambered back up to look at the woman. "Maybe."
Mylle let out a hissing breath between her teeth, glancing up quickly at Virali. "I'm close to being done, how soon do you have to leave?"

Virali smiled at Tiffan, although she was... perturbed by the Plague's indecisiveness. For now, she decided not to push it, instead turning to Mylle. "I actually should leave within the next five moments,. I'm terribly sorry, but I had forgotten completely about the timing of my appointment. If you cannot finish, which I understand, I am putting a bit of a rush on you, sorry... I can just pick them up on the morrow. I shall be alright in stocking feet for one night." She toyed idly with the silk covering the end of her staff, gently steadying Tiffan.

There was a quiet huff from Mylle as she shook her head. "That won't do, just give me a few more minutes and I'll have the patches put on." The Plague wobbled about on her perch for a few moments, crouching down to look at the brightly colored scraps of silk. "What is it like?" Terrowin, who had been somewhat absentmindedly been following the conversation turned to look at Tiffan, eyebrows raising slightly in surprise at her sudden interest.

"Thank you so much, Mylle! You've certainly become my favorite shop." And Virali would come back; the scents of leather and warmth made this place seem cozy. That sheath still called to her as well. Her thoughts beoke when Tiffan's small voice sounded.
"Hmm? What is what like, Tiffan? Wearing stockings? Having appointments? Being a mage?"

"Well, thank you," the woman said with a laugh. "If you'd like to come back later when you have some more time I can certainly make them look a bit prettier if you'd like." The boot was given a critical look for a moment before she returned to her stitching. Virali was given some more time to think as Tiffan pondered over her words, letting the shop settle into silence once again. Her feet tapped absently against the staff as she thought, a small frown forming on her face as she finally answered. "Yes." She had never done any of the three, though she could guess at the last one, and she looked expectantly at the woman as she waited for her answer.
From the desk there was another 'thunk' as she set the final boot next to the first. Mylle spun them around slowly, looking for any spots that had to be touched up. She apparently found none, since she slid them over towards the end of the desk. "Give these to Miss Virali, please. Those should hold for a while." Terrowin obediently passed the boots over, giving Tiffan a small gesture to come over. With a sigh, the Plague slid down the staff, seating herself on the edge of the armrest to get out of the way of the boots.

"Beauty is nothing next to functionality. How much do I owe you?" Virali returned with a quick smile. She accepted the boots gracefully, perhaps touching Terrowin a bit too much. It would be sad to go, she though idly; he was fun to poke and prod. The stitching on the boots was neat and even, as to be expected in such a shop.
"Hmmm... wearing stockings is ...warm, I would say. Though they feel better off. And having appointments is uncomfortable. So constraining." With one last tug, the boots were on and she wiggled her toes appreciatively. "As for being a mage, perhaps you and Terrowin could come visit the Fellowship sometime. But for now, I really must be off soon." A sigh squirmed out of her mouth, equal parts dread and anticipation. Standing, she stretched.

"What? Oh," Mylle paused for a moment as she swept the scraps of leather into a small pile on the desk. "A shilling or two would be fine." She gave the woman a smile as she stood up, adding; "But of course you area always welcome to come back, even if you do not want any more work done on them. It is nice having someone to talk to while I work."
Tiffan made a small noise as she thought over Virali's answers, eventually nodding as she accepted what she had said. She quickly scaled Terrowin's arm as the boots were passed over, giving his face a few pats as she saw the slightly dopey smile he had, before clambering the rest of the way to the top of his head. "It was nice seeing you again," Terrowin finally said, seeming to have (mostly) recovered from the teasing he had suffered through earlier.

"I very much enjoyed talking. It made the time pass very quickly. And, Miss Mylle, I found I appreciate your sense of humor." A slow grin spread across her face. Fishing out a few shillings (with extra for a tip), she pushed them across the counter. Virali turned to face Terrowin once more, her braid flipping out behind her.
"Tiffan, I hope we meet soon. Please feel free to visit me as well." She stretched up, reaching to the top of Terrowin's head to gently pat the Plague on her head. To be honest, she kind of wished all plagues would stay small and adorable. Finally, she looked at Terrowin. "It was... nice seeing you as well. May we meet again." Going up on tiptoe, Virali kissed his cheek. It felt warm and slightly scratchy beneath her lips. Smiling, she turned and made her way to the front of the shop.
