(oops I didn't mean to quote haha.. it was habit xD I always quote so I can see what the person said easier then scrolling down below lol) Josh seemed to come out of nowhere to help her out of van easier which was very kind of him to do so. "Thanks.. I've not driven for a while.." she told him with a blush as he looked into her eyes. Ruby hated how everything had happened, there was that spark there that she had always felt but was too scared to take that leap now.. everything seemed ruined in her eyes. After shaking it off she took a peek through the window and saw lots of people all eatting inside and seemingly having a nice time which looking quite inviting. "I think I'd like to go inside.." she told him as they both stepped inside. A young woman saw the two of the standing there and squealed happily "aw you two look so cute together! I saw you both outside and hope you'd come in!". It happened again, people thought they were a couple.. just great. Not wanting to keep correcting people, Ruby just gave a nod.

"T-Thank you." he replied faking it as well. "A table for two please, possibly some place in the back if you've got one." he said wrapping a shoulder around Ruby and winking at her.
The woman smiled and led them to a table by a corner booth. Sitting next to her, letting her had the end so she could get up to use the bathroom easily, they sat there waiting for someone to get their order. Blushing this all felt so awkward. Josh still had feelings for her, but decided not to pursue them anymore. It would be all up to Ruby, she would have to be the one to make that choice.
Josh would be there with open arms for her, ready to show the love he had for her buried in his heart, if she ever chose so. Smiling at her he was glad they were in a quite place. Looking down her noticed her belly twitching a bit.
"Wow, they seem awfully feisty today." he commented quietly to her. "That or maybe the smell of the pizza is driving them crazy." he chuckled hearing a large gurgle erupting from her tummy.
When a waitress came to them, she also congratulated them and took their order.
(OOC: no it's cool. I don't mind being quoted. :3))

(haha okay.. doesn't bother me either.. it just gives me a poke up the bum xD ) Ruby gave a cheesy grin as Josh wrapped his arm round her while they pretended once again. She just didn't want any questions that night, just some peace and quiet. Once they were seated Ruby gave a grin towards Josh "Thanks for asking for somewhere quiet. And a I'm glad it's a booth too! Much better for my back... you remember when we were kids our mum's would chat away after a meal and we would just nap on seats like these?" she snickered as she remembered the good times. Ruby liked how close they were even back then and hoped it wouldn't go away. Things had changed but, she wanted her friend back. "Anyway I wanted to talk to about something away from the others so I'm glad you agreed to come eat with me" she told him with a smile before noticing what he said "OH? Yeah they get like that when I'm hungry.. they don't like the noise when it grumbles I think" she giggled, ordering herself a chicken and mushroom pizza with extra cheese to make it nice and stringy like she loved!

(bum pokes! razz XD lol) Josh smiled and chuckled remembering the good old days as well. So many memories, it was hard to believe how comfortable he was around her. Wrapping an arm around Ruby he looked into her eyes. "Hmmm?" he asked when she wanted to talk to him about something. She knew how curious he was and he just decided to share the pizza with her, getting them a large stuffed crust. After the waitress left he turned his attention back to her. He hoped she wasn't pulling the plug and asking him to stop traveling with her? It had only been a month after all. Still he would be quiet and patiently wait for her to talk.

(D: my poor butt -puts plaster (band-aid) on it- LOL x ) Her eyes sprung open once he turned the order into a stuffed crust! She had completely forgotten about those and was glad Josh didn't! Ruby could taste it in her mouth just thinking about, gooey cheese! It sounded like a heart attack but she wanted a treat for what she was about to tell Josh. "You know when you said it's a little bit quiet with hardly any gigs going on recently? Well I decided to do a solo one tonight.. I booked it all up last minute and in secret.. I just need the money right now to support myself for when I'm a little too big to perform anymore" Ruby told him, hoping he wouldn't be mad or anything "I don't want the guys to know but I don't want to go alone so.. will you come with me? Maybe sit behind the stage or wherever you want?"

Josh looked at her for a moment, a serious expression on his face. Once she finished that expression turned into one of understanding and softness. Kissing her cheek he gave her a nod. "Alright, I'll go with you. But if your band mates ever find out then they'll be mad." he replied honestly. It would be odd seeing her very big in the later months, but he understood. "When is this gig of yours?" he asked a bit after their drinks arrived.

She sighed once he pretty much confirmed what didn't want to hear, her band mates would be mad. But she didn't have any choice if she wanted to survive. "If they do find out then I'll just give them a cut as my way of saying sorry" Ruby sighed again, playing with the ice-cubes in her orange juice she just got with her straw. She didn't even notice the kiss to the cheek much, just let it happen like it was a normal thing. "umm it's in about three hours.. it's kinda an acoustic night so.. that's why I wanted to do it alone too.."

"Don't worry, I'm here for you all the way." he said rubbing her back. "Relax, eat, and don't worry about what the guys will say or think. This is important to you after all." he smiled and watched as their pizza was brought to them. After asking for another refill he handed her a plate. "How about we talk about something that isn't stressful?" he asked grabbing some slices himself. Watching how gooey the cheese was.

She was really grateful to have Josh around, it gave her someone to talk to and lean on their shoulder. Sure the guys in the band were nice but they weren't really 'a friend that listens' material. As the pizza was brought out the them her eyes lit up as the smells hugged at her nose. Ruby had missed pizza so much and couldn't wait to dig in! After taking a plate of Josh she piled on two slices to it. "Well umm we can talk about your writing? What were you writing about before we got here?" she asked curiously as she tucked in to her yummy pizza.

(ha ha, one thing I love about rping with you is all the British slang you use. :3 like "tucking in" xD it's fun. ^^ Of course, now I wan't stuffed crust pizza gonk I haven't had it in so long lol) "Hmmm...." he pondered a moment after taking a bite of the cheesy crust. "Well I had finished up a story about how a day-care was switching their products and "going green" to help protect the children from nasty chemicals." he said scratching his chin. "I've written so many things. From sports to music, plants to foods. All of my assignments are random too. My boss just says "Here do this! You have a month." and shoves an evelope into my hands!" he laughed. It wasn't totally like that, but that's how it felt sometimes.

(haha I'm only speaking the words I know!!! haha if I say something you have no clue what it means the just ask xD I don't mind lol.. but I'm glad it amuses you ^.^ lol) She munched down on her pizza quietly as Josh talked. She would've acted like a hungry animal with lots of noise but was being courteous towards him. Ruby had no idea he was writing for things other then following the progress of her band, it made her feel a little guilty that he had to be dragged along for no reason if that was the case. He didn't have to travel with them.. "Wow.. I didn't know you wrote about all those things.. I should really ask what you're doing more often" she commented after eatting her half of the pizza in record time. It hit the spot.

He smiled happily. "Maybe you could read some of my stuff sometime? I could always print out some of my old files for you. Whenever you found the time to look at them that is." Probably that wouldn't be until she was almost due. Josh let her finish the pizza if she was still hungry and relaxed in his seat a bit. Staring at her for a moment he wasn't sure what to say. The more he thought about it, there wasn't much for them to catch-up on either. "Ruby, you full enough to take a walk?" he asked sweetly. (sorry I kind of didn't know what to do xP my character can't be cuddly yet >.>; XD lol)

(oh dw.. the cuddles will be that day ;D ) She looked across the room to the handy clock that was hung up in the restaurant. "hmm" Ruby pondered while staring at it. "I guess we could have a quick walk.. I have to be in about an hour to set up everything" she told him while wiping her face. "Let me just go to the little girl's room first.. I think they are sitting on my bladder in a stupid way.." her eyes rolled before she made her way to the toilet. While washing her hands, she locked her eyes into herself in deep thought. "Josh won't be around forever.. kinda sucks really.. I was.. enjoying having him around.. he will probably go on to bigger and better things right? Clearly has the talent for it.. why would he want to hang around a scummy band for the rest of his life?" she chuckled before turning on her phone to look at the time again. As soon as she did it was bombed with text messages from the couple, making her turn it back off again. She couldn't handle them right now, and probably never would. Ruby took her time and made her way out to greet Josh once more. "You ready?" she asked as she headed for the door.
