Exodus' eyes fluttered open at the feeling of something pressing against his cheek after he was touched multiple times. He rose up quickly and covered a yawn before rubbing his eyes. "Morning..." Exodus responded, looking like a child that had only recently rolled out of bed. His hair was always unkempt, but it was worse when he woke up. Still, a bright smile and child-like air made him seem as though he didn't have a care in the world after seeing Ana again.
"I'm glad to see you're more than a dream." Exodus said off-hand as he tried to wake himself up. As all of his senses awakened, he noticed that she seemed to have already been prepared. Not only that, but the smell of food gave him an idea of how long he had been asleep. Exodus rubbed the back of his head, redness covering his face as he thought about this situation. How long had he been asleep then? He expected to be better than that having been awake early so many other times.
"A-ah...thank you." Exodus quickly righted himself, smoothing his hair down with poor results due to the haphazard preparation. His tone became professional, and whatever slouch he had that was not even noticed vanished with his tired face. While he wouldn't be described as on edge, Exodus seemed to dislike being seen in such a condition. He hardly expected her to still be beside him when he awoke, actually, yet she was still there...she was showing traits he wouldn't have expected of her when they first met. It was strange, and new, but he was learning to accept it.
