For as long as Evangeline can remember, she has no memories of her parents. She doesn't even remember what they look like or recall the sound of their voices, only 'blank' memories that left more questions than answers. For the first several years of her childhood, Eve never really thought about her missing parents all that much, simply content with her life. The young girl was also too busy with schooling and playing with her twin sister to question where their parents were at. It was only later on, around the age of nine, when Evangeline started having nightmares about her parents. Both grandparents tried reassuring that everything was fine and her parents were just away, 'doing business'. That gave her a peace of mind. For awhile.

As the young Knox girls grew into teenagers, Elianna started pushing Evangeline to find out more about their parents and whether or not they were alive. Grandparents, still disapproving, both of the girls decided to sneak around and look for the answer themselves since they weren't getting any. With a little hard work and digging around, they found and located a few people that had been friends with their parents. That's when they girls learned the horrible truth. Their parents had been soldiers, killed in the line of duty. Liliana became distraught with this news. Closing herself off from everyone around, even her own twin.

As a year passed by, Liliana stopped eating all together and fell in a deep depression without any signs of pulling through. After months of this, one night Liliana just up and disappeared. Noticing this and now worried that her twin might hurt herself, Evangeline took off after Liliana, searching everywhere. She eventually found her sister who was trapped by a small group of low lives from the underground scene. Now truly scared, Evangeline rushed in to help her sister and ended up getting cornered too. This was a foolish mistake on her part. Both girls were almost beaten within an inch of their lives and yet, hope hadn't abandoned. A family near by heard the racket and quickly came to their rescue. Evangeline had been lucky enough that she only got minor injuries. Liliana was a different story. The poor Knox girl was stabbed seven times during the fight and bleed out before anyone could ask for a doctor.

Losing her sister was the hardest thing she had to face and come to terms with. Something deep inside of Evangeline broke and shattered.. Forever scarring the young woman and decided to follow her parents' footsteps. Become a soldier and make her family proud. She asked her grandfather to train her, to make her stronger until her next Birthday. Once Evangeline felt ready, she enlisted as a cadet, hoping to make a small difference within this dark world.
