Personality: He appears physically frail and emotionally weaker than most, but what he lacks in brawn he makes up for in brains. He has always been a good student and is exceptionally wise (partially thanks to his ability). He is also generally timid; as a younger child he was bullied a lot; and still tends to be easily pushed around at times (see weaknesses). However, over the years he has gained more of a sense of confidence. He is generally sociable and passes good judgment.
Hobbies: Reading, writing, solving problems; basically doing things that stimulate the mind. He also likes to hang out and talk when given the chance, as well as practice his ESP-related abilities.

Bio: When Armin was young, he was often bullied for his interest in literature, excelling mental capabilities, and his ESP abilities in general. As he didn't have many friends, he often looked to his parents or his grandfather, whom he was very close to. When he was ten his parents left, their fate remaining unknown, leaving him in the custody of his grandfather. Together they took to the books and his grandfather helped him with his studies as well as sharpening his gift, encouraging Armin that his parents would be proud. However, finances soon grew short, and his grandfather went looking for work, leaving Armin on his own once more; it eventually got to the point he would only be home scarcely. His grandfather secretly contacted the Academy, unbeknownst to Armin, and they made a deal that if anything were to happen, they would be allowed the child's custody. A year later, his grandfather died, and Armin was unwillingly taken in by the school. Eventually this grew on him, and he has attended the school since, with an initial goal in mind: to make his parents and his grandfather proud. It is unknown whether or not Armin's grandfather had been an ESP himself and had predicted his own death.
Armin has mostly tried to keep to himself when it came to his studies and personal time, but with so many new students coming in this year, he may find it harder than usual...
