Being called 'laddy' was not helping his temperament at the moment, but he allowed the beastly half-pint send away his animals. At least with them out of the way his nurses could clean properly. When the orange furred male turned his attention back to Ashllyn, his hands would be crossed over his bare chest and see his offer to help was unneeded.
"I think you helped enough around here. Now, did you come here for a purpose other than 'livening up' the one place in the village people come for peace and quiet?" It was then he realized the cat kid had left his side and he searched around to find him in the corner.
"Hey kid, you don't know where that things been, let it go. I'll get you something much more tasty if we ever make it to the kitchens." If, for only a moment, his look of irritation was gone as he cast his purple eyes on the half-human child. But it came back in a flash as he looked to the drunken b*****d whose head was still below him even while he was sitting on top of the table.

While the two, arguably, humans were fighting, or talking, or whatever the heck it was they were doing, the child, having found his was into a corner, removed his catch from his mouth to check it over. The little rodent of course, sensing the immediate danger had passed, started squirming and squealing, trying to escape. It was at this point that the first man spotted him and told him to let it go, claiming he didn't know where it'd been. Vaguely recognizing that term from when his mom tried to make him stop eating her shiny candies, he frowned, looking at the squirrel oddly. It was neither shiny nor excessively hard and metallic. Maybe the term was related to something not being tasty? The shinies weren't tasty. But he'd seen other creatures eat squirrels plenty of times...
"No, not particularly. Jus' thought I'd see if anyone needed any help aroun' 'ere, though I ca' see tha' you're not par'icularly pleased wit' me bringin' along me friends." He said scratching the back of his head. He hadn't thought this was the only place for peace and quiet, but then again he didn't quite live like normal villagers. When he wanted peace and quiet he just went for a walk or something through the wilderness.
