Don't get any funny ideas, I have nothing to do with that anime InuYasha. The name came from choosing the InuDemon as a mate some 2000 yrs ago. I was smitten with his beauty. Being an older demon of great beauty in 'human' form myself, I couldn't find any that matched my own beauty. Sesshomaru is gorgeous, you have to admit. I, being queen of the Golden Dragons could choose any mate I wanted, and there were none in my own group, since I was the last of my kind. I wandered over 5000 Earth years to find a mate. I traveled the entire globe and settled in Japan when Sesshomaru was a mere child. I knew he was going to be the perfect mate when I first saw him, but was way too young to take him then. I contacted his parents and informed them that I was going to take him for mine when he reached his first heat. At first his mother objected, vehemently! No son of hers, a royal of the Inu bloodline was going to stoop to mate with a Ryuu demon, regardless of my pedigree. Her protests fell on deaf ears, especially after I transformed into my true form and devoured her charred body. The great dog general was amused at my dealings with his petulant wife. He didn't like her anyway. He was in agreement to the mating, provided that Sesshomaru agreed at the time of his maturity. The royal Inu would give permission but would not force a mating. That made sense. I wanted Sesshomaru, but a mate taken by force was not what I wanted either. I had almost a century to wait, so in that time I would get to know Sesshomaru, become "friends" and at the time of his "maturity", we would become mates.

Sesshomaru was not one to become friends with any being, human or demon. I didn't push the issue, knowing that would antagonize him and that would be contraindicated to my plans. In the time needed before our mating, I took my time to insinuate myself into his good graces gradually. We crossed paths 'coincidentally'. A few times, while he was searching for Naraku, I gave him assistance which he found helpful. Over time, he found any time we met to be more pleasurable than not. Then, 74 years from the time I first met him Sesshomaru's time had finally come. It was late Spring and a very inconvenient time for him.

He was being hunted by a shogun's warriors hellbent on destroying the demon. His scent was leading hounds directly toward him and there was little he could do to elude them much longer. His scent was also what let me to him. With the hounds and humans less an mile behind him, and fever overtaking him, making him weak, I found him. He was weak and the only way for him to escape was for me to transform and carry him off, and that is what I did. I carried him to my home in the caves by Mt Fuji and held him safe there while he rode out the fevers of his heat, warding off all who tried to attack and claim him for their own. Several days later, when the fevers left him and he was back to normal, he realized what I had done. I saved him from the warriors, from the other demons who would have taken the InuTaiyokai as their mate, but more importantly, did not take him for my own. That impressed him more than anything.

At that time, he took the time to talk with me. He knew what my intentions were. His father had told him. He was perplexed as to why I didn't just take him, since he knew I was going to have him as my mate anyway. I explained that I would only have him as my mate if he agreed, and he smiled. For the first time in all the years I had known him, he smiled. He then took my hand, pulled me to him and in one swift motion sank his teeth deep into my neck, marking me as his. That answered the question as to whether he agreed or not. After he marked me, it was my turn. I have to admit, I had to be very careful, because my teeth were longer and sharper than his canines so, marking him was a delicate procedure. But I marked him and then, of course, we had to consummate the deal. I do love how demons wed and mate!

So, that is how I became DemonLadySesshomaru. Oh, he's still around, and we still have a good marriage. The children look like me, as they should, but not exactly like me. They are dragons, but not all golden. Some take a little after their father and are more platinum, others are "different". I'm not quite sure where their coloring comes from, but they are ours and we love them. They all have some characteristics from both of us: firebreathers, flyers and scales from me; energy balls, acid breath and acid claws from their father.

So there you have it.

As for me, I have all the characteristics of a dragon in dragon form, virtually impenetrable scaled exterior, fire breathing, claws that can pierce metal and crush stone/concrete and of course I can fly. Oh and in dragon form, since I am the golden queen, I am a mere 150 meters tall. In human form, I am not a wimp. Since I have traveled the Earth for 5000+ years, I have learned all forms of hand to hand combat, am proficient with swords, whips, guns (which I hate to use) but most importantly are my special innate abilities. I can make myself become invisible and am telepathic and have telekinetic/teleporation abilities monks in Nepal helped me master through meditation some 3000yrs ago. That comes in handy if I have to get myself out of a tight situation quickly. ome day.

There is one more little thing about me. I DON'T LIKE HUMANS. In fact, with the exception of the Monks in Nepal, I can't stand them and if I had my way, I would do away with them altogether.
