The firani dragon was getting tired of this...his hunt for the hybrid girl was becoming irritating. What was she doing wandering around the dessert like this? When he thought he found some sort of pattern in her travels, something would come along and disrupt it. Mostly..dragons...sending her fleeing or off course...Tilawen seemed to be moving around with no particular path in mind. But she didn't want to die that much was evident as she fought off anything that attacked her.
Though this erratic behavior was starting to make the poor drakien twitch. At one point he swore that she was running from a dragon, came into contact with MORE dragons and there were smaller foot prints as well. Tilawen? Help people? That seemed...hardly likely, though if they were kids....perhaps this was the girls weak point? Though she seemed hardly the type would would 'protect' children. It must of been an accident, that was the only explanation for it. Tilawen from what he knew of her...from what he had gathered by her lonely travels...was a lost soul...who needed 'guidence'. And who better than himself to lead her down the right path.
Still though...he was certainly tired of chasing this girl around if at least she had a primary objective he may of been able to deduce where she was headed...a town perhaps. But no..she wandered the dessert wastes and seemed to be going to one pointless nook and cranny of the place. What was going on in the girls head? Why would she travel like this? Not to mention continuously be attacked by dragons let and right? Then again since he had started to track her down he too had been ambushed by the kiandri dragons of this land. He was quite ashamed of this fact..and once he found the girl he had no intentions of that happening again.
Of course that meant that he would have to escape the fangs of yet another Kiandri. This time perhaps he had spotted it, after all the tracks had all been messed up but a fresher pair of them had been atop everything else. Yes Dayphir knew this kiandri was around, and he was prepared for it. Though he had no intention of fighting it. He was so close to finding Tilawen...he was not about to let himself get carried away in a fight.
After a few exchanged blows he managed to get a foot full of sand and grit into the kiandri's eyes, and then he slipped away...hoping to close the distance between him and Tilawen.
