Hex grinned as he thought over the past few hours. He had glued his sister’s Haven’s paws together with tree sap while she slept and she was to quite to say anything so it took until noon before anyone had even noticed she was still where she has been in the morning wriggling around all helpless. He would have gotten away from it if it hadn’t been his mother’s ghost friend Sol hadn’t told on him. Now he was just letting the rest of the tribe have a bit of time without him so they could all cool down. He figured his mom knew where she was since it was easy to ask for directions from ghosts. He really wished he had that skill set. In truth he could see and hear things but it was very very rare and never happened outside of the fall season. Haven could never see things but could always hear them. It was just lucky that their mother had the skills so that Haven didn’t think she was crazy.
Yawning he stretched out wagging his tail a bit. He had to plan a few things on what to do next when he came back. Maybe he should set up some leaves in the caves heavy with dew so that they would drip annoyingly on everyone in the middle of the night. Or itching root he should mix some in with the leaves his other sister’s played in. That would be fun. Or soapy leaves in the water. That was always great especially if his father drank any and then had to yell at kits. The old man would be spitting out little bubbles left and right. It made it rather hard to take Itov seriously but thankfully Itov never really seemed to mind. Maybe a bit of bathing to get the twigs and sticks out of his fur was in order. He had left the tribe in a bit of a rush so his sisters didn’t gang up on him in vengeance for Haven.
