Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and truthfully no matter how many times Rowan has been told she's beautiful she never believes them she believes she is like every other woman in the world. From her curly golden brown hair, that changes slightly with the seasons, to her vivid green eyes ,that express everything even without words though she applies those anyways. From a glance Rowan appears to be delicate and frail a princess in need of help as she is incapable of helping herself out of a dangerous situation. Rowan is very feminine, from her slim pianist hands to her slender but muscular legs as well as her graceful hips that attract attention with every sway regardless of if she wants it. Though she appears delicate she is far from it with great flexibility and grace that of a dancer she has the ability to maneuver away from danger just as well as getting to a defendable position. She is not without her muscle though from her color guard career in high school and some in college as well as her waitressing job she is very in shape and her muscles are there under her olive hued Greco skin tone. Her muscles are lanky only appearing in force when such muscle group is in use though they compliment her good proportions that she enjoys from good breeding as her mother would always state. Rowan is well endowed though not enough to gain her back problems or get in the way when she worked or practiced but by no means is Rowan proud of her hourglass figure that has always cause more problems than they are worth. Embarrassingly enough for her, her uncle constantly joked about her good birthing hips which was just something not suited for normal conversation at least for her anyways. Rowan is in no way completely scar less on her silky smooth skin though she is not without her marks as she has a tattoo on her upper back spanning from shoulder blade to shoulder blade with each blade being covered with a beautiful monarch wing while in the middle is the words "Semper Fi" standing for her boyfriend Drake's marine history. Though it does not only stand for that but her love for Drake as well as her undying loyalty to the man even when he was not actively around her.

Can't Change It: Rowan is a sharp tongued woman who does not take much crap from anyone even if they are older than her.She is very sarcastic and hates to be used by any means which means she does not stand for people trying to get her to do things she does not want to do. She is very quick witted and will constantly remind people that she has an opinion which she will state whether or not someone wants to hear it or not she likes people to know she is not as defenseless as she may appear. She is a tough woman who is willing to go to any lengths to get what she wants though she is not lacking in the motherly section as she cares much for those around her even if she does not show it a lot when she is biting someone's head off for saying something they shouldn't have. She is very stubborn when it comes to having her way when she knows it to her very bones that she is right as she takes her beliefs very seriously even if they differ from society's she would stand by them until forced to think otherwise. As she is much a loner even though she has always secretly feared of being alone or abandoned as she has been left before and never liked the feeling of having no one to back her up when she got into trouble. Rowan is a loving woman despite her flaws, mainly her clingy nature of not liking to be alone, she is very loyal standing by those she believes in with all her heart. Not the kind of woman who would be easily broken emotionally until she is forced to reckon with facts like she is truly and utterly alone something that scares her more than death. Children are something she adores and will protect like any motherly figure should whether they are her own or not she will not allow the fall stand in her way of protecting them nor in having any children of her own. As stable as she may seem she does have her reckless moments with her curiosity getting the better of her sometimes and causing awkward moments for the other party involved in the conversation. She plays off the optimistic person very easily though she believes her lies half the time she wonders at times how long will it take before someone can read through her lies as she is not overly good at lying in the first place. But despite this she is a very level headed woman in a crisis she thinks it comes from being a waitress in a popular café as she had to be used to huge rushes of people and keeping the order within the place while serving them to the best of her ability.
History is set in stone: This is the part of the story where Rowan says she had a happy childhood and moves on with her life but that isn't really the case. Rowan was born and raised in Ohio with her mother and father at least for the first couple of years her life was not perfect. Her parents spilt when she was five not the best time because she didn't understand what was going on and waking up to find that her father was gone without a trace and her mother saying that she did not have one because he never loved her scarred her. Rowan's abandonment issues started then without her mother ever realizing that what she had said in a rage caused her daughter deeper harm then she could ever see as Rowan hid it well after that. Instead of clinging to her mother she found other things to cling to as she could never rely on her mother to be around for her at any point of time other than brief moments between work and at times between dates. The Greek in her mother was quite clear as she often wanted to soothe any type of pain with eating and or cooking, a knack Rowan was never good at, they often baked and watched movies when her mother was home. School was never a problem for Rowan she stuck to it and was often at the top of her class because she absorbed every detail said down to the last letter as it was her one form of relieving her issues being surrounded by people made her feel better.
Not having a man around the house made her a bit weird when it came to actively being around men and even weirder when boys weren't yucky anymore as she had no idea on how to talk to them or understand their ways. Her mother's boyfriends helped a little with these problems though mostly in middle school did it help as she liked her mother's boyfriend then he was amusing and knew just how to talk to her so she'd understand. This boyfriend lasted for sometime at this present moment Rowan has no idea if they are still together as she has not heard from them since she moved here to be with Drake for many reasons which one is to just get away from her mother. Speaking of Drake she met him on a fieldtrip up to the high school while she was still in middle school it was nothing important at the time it was just a tour of the school she'd be going to the next year. It wasn't important until they got to the preforming arts area of the building and Drake, her groups guide at the time, just got very enthusiastic about this area much to her own excitement which caused her to squeak slightly in excitement and surprise when her friend elbowed her. She had been ogling at Drake the entire time and hadn't said a thing besides get very giddy and her friend decided to try and help her get noticed which seemed to work much to her horror. He stopped in the middle of his talk and glanced at her apparently she had squeaked louder than she thought thus with a large blush on her she tried to hide quickly behind her friend.
One embarrassing tour and the rest of eighth grade later she became a freshmen and well after a bit of time together as friends her and Drake started dating and have ever since. During high school she was part of Color guard as well as winter guard which she did even after high school doing it during the few years she has been in college working as a waitress along with it. Moving to Oregon was not high on her list of things she wanted to do but being with Drake meant everything and him being stationed there was enough. The week before the fall he was on leave they were enjoying their time together than everything went to s**t and they bunked up with a group of people that seemed to have a good supply of food and a couple children much to her joy. Two weeks into the fall they had decided to go off base to have a little alone time which after a rather fun night she woke up to Drake not being there though she knew he was in the house but after being dressed and ready she heard a crash. Going down to check it out Drake yelled at her to get out as quickly as possible which she did but hesitated and then fear took over she ran leaving the man she loved more than life itself to fend for himself. Though she heavily believes he is probably dead she has a small hope that he may still be alive so she listens to the radio and when she's allowed out to help look for things she looks for any sign of him not letting her fear get the better of her.

Strengths:

Combat style: Despite not being the trained fighter as most of the people who have survived thus far she is not afraid to get up into a fight using her few hand to hand skills with her staff to take down those within her range. While when a walker gets closer she resorts to the stun-slice tactic which uses the skillet followed by a good enough swing with her Machete to at least nearly defeat the undead thing. Though she is not afraid to run or dodge away if she finds that she is not capable to end the fight unharmed which often makes her appear more of a guerilla fighter than anything else. She is not very good at stealth but uses sounds of thrown objects to get around things that she thinks she can handle if caught them by surprise though undead or not she knows when to run and when not.
