Only when a certain amount of time has passed, which is approximate to the time the Ryu walks ten feet away, or three steps, does his opponent only realize the attack. It seems to employ elements of iai (instant sword-draw-and-resheath) since it is generally initiated (though not always) with Ryu is moving towards the intended target(s) with an unsheathed blade and walks past them before sheathing it back. Description:BDP is a attack which Ryu spins his weapon and constantly accelerating increasing it speed drastically with full rotation made with each rotation made it will gather tremendous amounts of wind,A mear breeze from the collected wind is enough to clear a forest,The attack will start off by Ryu spinning his katana by using the handle with his wrist,Once the acceleration has begun the blade will soon start to appear as a complete and perfect circle due to the accelerated rotation given,Then the blade will no longer become visable to his opponents perspective as the blade has now reached a state of speed that can no longer be seen with normal eyesight,Once the attack has reached the state of speed Ryu desires he will then thrust at his opponent with his katana as the blade is covered in black compressed wind (Due to the color of the blade itself.) making the blade appear 10x larger then it originally was and as well making it 10x as dangerous then it previously was,The attack will soon start to manifest into the appearance of a black Chinese dragon made of black wind with its mouth open,Anything that gets in the way of this attack will be pierced by it as it will leave a massive hole that is larger then the super sized blade,Even if the attack is dodged it is still dangerous as it would soon become destabilized and explode letting all the compressed air out as the explosion would appear as a black ball expanding 5 Miles wide in all directions causing all things to be sliced to pieces within the 5 Mile radius as the ball would let out a big gust of wind releasing any remaining wind free,It is another technique that Ryu himself created as it is one of his deadliest techniques he has ever demonstrated to anyone.

Background Information
Ryu was born in the hidden Oni no Ichizoku which was located somewhere deep within the Gourmet world,Ryu was the son of Neketa whom at the time was the Heir and leader of the village,Ryu was not a only child as he had two older brothers Yunchi and Tusbuki however they really didn't care for him all that much,Ryu was a master of the sword despite his young age of 7 and most of the village said he would most likely become the next Heir and not his tow older brothers which angered them,Once Ryu reached the age of ten he was then given the right to hunt and provide for the village just like everyone else when they reach the age of ten,His older brothers saw this as the perfect chance to get rid of him.
Yunchi and Tusbuki went to Ryu and they both told him it was time for a chance for him to see if he got what he took to become a expert hunter,He accepted the challenge and showed no hint of fear in his eyes which only anger the two even more,The two brothers then took Ryun to the forbidden cave respectively know as the Blood Cannel due to the fact that know one had ever returned back alive once they entered the cave as there was a legend of a near God like beast the dwelled within the cave.
Showing no fear what so ever he entered the cave leaving his brothers far behind which made rush after him as Yunchi was starting to regret the decision about trying to get rid of his youngest brother,As they entered they heard the most horrifying roar that was ever made that would even send the most will powered of men from the simple roar it created right after that the sound of Ryu screaming in the up most of agony and pain as the scream almost dwarfed the roar,Yunchi rushed towards his brother desperate to save his brother and was led to a giant blood stained crystal cavern as he found Ryu impaled in the Left eye from the very tip of the beasts tail.
It was unknown on what happened after that but some of the villagers said the beast went on a unGodly rampage and attacked the village for three straight days however the beast was repelled by Ryu's father Neketa who stole the beast Left eye and rescued his Ryu,The damage done to his left eye was to great and had be replaced his father suggested that they use Fujun'na Kami no Hidarime from the beast to replace the damaged eye,After three long weeks of trying they finally succeeded in saving Ryu.
After a month passed Ryu finally woke up as a changed child as he had become much more sadistic,As soon as he was to walk again he grabbed their family's most treasured blade The Black Blade of the Dragon King and slaughtered the entire village leaving no survivors as he said "You are no longer needed"And left,It is unknown what happened after this but IGO reports say that he has been sighted working with the Bishokukai.
