Somehow Celadine took all of this better than she expected to, likely the blended mix of personalities tempered it. It seemed the safer option to make what Ki'ryn might have call an emotional retreat. She had hoped that this might somehow mend things between herself and Valor and start to close the chasm that had opened between them. It had in a way, just not the way she expected- at one point she might have said 'or wanted' as well, but now she was not sure. With her renewed sanity perhaps she had gained some sort of clarity- perhaps this had been best.

It almost seemed like sometime during those seven days the ties of that emotion to Valor had been severed. She would serve as expected and nothing more, or less, than that. She had her station, her own purpose and her own life in the meantime.

She was busy packing her things to move to one of the rooms downstairs, better to let Vaelrirn have this one. It was closer to Lan anyway. The sheets and blankets had already been stripped from the bed for Illiad to deal with as she needed to. Now she was throwing her clothes and the those of the girls' into baskets to haul downstairs. Beyond the other things the girls needed there was not a whole lot in the room that was hers so it would only take a few trips.

The little set of rooms in the corner by the greenhouse would do just fine. There were not so many rooms taken on this side of the house so it would be quieter, at least for now. There was already a bed and a wardrobe, so she would just have to get someone to help with the crib. Kinjin probably would if she asked and at least he would have the sense not to ask her too many questions. She had taken the girls to Jesran and Mirian earlier so she would be free to get this taken care of quickly.

Her baskets of clothes were left on the bed for now, they could be dealt with later. Getting everything setup in one of the smaller rooms for the girls was more important than wrinkled laundry. Once they were old enough to have their own rooms there was space for it but in the meantime the other would just be storage. She took the time to setup things to her liking and then she went to fetch Kinjin and they moved the crib downstairs together. Thankfully it was not really heavy, just awkward.

He looked a bit concerned but did not say much, perhaps because it was not his place to do so. Once he headed back to his own rooms she set about putting away her own clothes and stacked the empty baskets in her extra little room.

Things were different now but they would be alright.
