For the last two years I have participated in Extra-Life in an attempt to raise funds for Children's Miracle Networks. I play in support of McMaster Children's Hospital, which is not only my local Sick Kid's Hospital but is also one of the leading Pediatric Hospital in all of Canada. Each year - no, every day - they work tirelessly for sick and injured children and their families, including my own family and friends in the past. Each year I like to show my support to a fantastic hospital and the amazing staff within by raising money for their cause.
Like previous years I will be live streaming my games as much as possible! I have yet to decide what I will be playing, and I will update this as soon as I have an idea.
This year Extra-Life will be held on November 2nd, which means that instead of playing for 24 hours straight, I will be playing for 25 hours straight, thanks to the time zone change!
My current fundraising goal is $300.
I'm trying something new this year. Since this is an event to play video games, I thought I'd raffle off some video games! Each raffle ticket will be a dollar. The higher your donation the more tickets you get! There are three games available:
Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, or Fire Emblem: Awakening.
All three of these games will be coming from Canada - which means they are region locked to North America.
Pokemon X and Y are brand new in packaging (or will be once they get here) and FE:A is opened, but never played (or taken out of the box, really).
HOW TO ENTER THE RAFFLE:
1. Donate via THIS page. Remember every dollar gets you a 'ticket' for the raffle!
2. Email endofhysteria@gmail.com with the subject "EL Raffle". Include in your email proof of your donation and your preference list for the games listed above in the event that you win (ex: First Choice: P-X, Second Choice: P-Y, Third Choice: FEA). Make sure this is an email that you will check, because this is where I will contact you if you win.
3. Pat yourself on the back for helping small humans everywhere (or in this case, Southern Ontario)

HOW TO ORDER A COMMISSION
1. Donate via THIS page. Remember that commission-donations do not count as raffle tickets!
2. Email lialex24@hotmail.com with "EL Donation" as the subject. Include in your email proof of your donation and what you would like to have drawn - don't forget to include references for your character and a brief personality blurb!
3. Pat yourself on the back for helping small humans everywhere (or in this case, Southern Ontario)
1. If you want to enter the raffle AND get a commission you have to make two separate donations, so we can keep track easier!
2. Raffle will be drawn November 3rd, 2013 at 9:00am EST. There will be THREE winners and each will be contacted by the email they provided. I will be using a random number generator to select the winners.
3. First winner gets first choice of game, second winner gets next choice and third winner will receive the remaining game. These will be determined by the preference list you send with your email.
4. Games will be mailed as soon as possible! Each winner will be provided with a tracking number to ensure delivery.
5. Commissions will be done at the leisure of the artist. She's good though - you'll get your art ASAP!
