Should Christians go to doctors?
Just some random info and a litle insight of why this is being asked... There are some Christians who believe that seeking medical attention is demonstrating a lack of faith in God. In the Word-Faith movement, consulting a doctor is often considered a lack of faith that will actually prevent God from healing you. In groups such as Christian Science, seeking the help of physicians is sometimes viewed as a barrier to using the spiritual energy God has given us to heal ourselves.
So doctors yay or nay? Why do you say this?

In a perfect world there would be no doctors, no police officers, no government, ect. But since we don't live in a perfect world there is a need for them. However, I think a doctor's purpose is to heal people that are too weak in faith to come to God for their health. I find that there's more risks in checking for diseases and cancers than just having faith that your life is in His hands. I get a lot of crap from people because I refuse to get naked and be probed by a stranger just to make sure everything is working normally. And I find that sad that people are that dependent on medical professionals that they'll ridicule everyone who don't believe their bodies are out to kill them. I more or less see it this way concerning Christians: "Yeah God. Sure I trust You with my life and everything but You didn't go to medical school. And my mom's side of the family has a history of this disease. I need to make sure I don't have it instead of knowing you have my life and my health handled."
I know this is a touchy subject. But I'd rather just focus on my spiritual walk. If we're really performing God's will and have full faith in Him he's not going to allow us to die early.

I almost became a doctor, so...yeah, I'm a supporter of modern medicine. I can't really fathom why so many people aren't. I mean, I've heard the arguments, and I understand them intellectually, but they don't make any sense. These arguments also tend to rely on a lot of flat-out misinformation about modern medical practises in order to further demonise them.
Have faith. Yes. Great. But just sitting around and praying about something that is within your power to fix just seems ridiculous. If your house was on fire, would you call the fire department, get your family out of the house, and maybe even start attacking the flames with a fire extinguisher yourself, or would you just sit in your burning house and pray that God puts out the flames and saves you and your family?
To use a cliche, God helps those who help themselves. Pray to God, but swim for shore. Etc etc.
It's like that story/joke about the man caught in a flood. He prays that God will save him. A boat approaches him and throws him down a line to climb aboard, but he tells the captain, "No, it's all right, God will save me." A little later a helicopter hovers above him and throws him a line, but again, the man says, "I don't need your help, I know God will save me." Well, the man ends up drowning, and when he gets to heaven, he confronts God and asks Him why He let him die, and God said, "I sent you a boat and a helicopter, what more help could you want?"
Where exactly are you expected to draw the line between prayer and action?
Part of having faith, for me, is believing that God gives us the means to solve many of our own problems. Being pro-active in approaching these problems doesn't imply a lack of faith, it's simply a willingness to use the tools God gave us.

I'm a Muslim and I see praying to get better and going to a doctor are 2 things that go hand and hand together God gave us knowledge to learn about our bodies and how to heal ourselves if we get injured or infected And for that we must be thankful to him

God gave the doctors knowledge for a reason. Yes you need to pray about it and have faith but you should also do something on your end to help too. It just seems crazy to not too. =/ I mean doctors are hear for a reason. Are you going to be the same way when your house is being robbed? Are you going to sit there and pray only or are you going to go call the cops?
