A new story I've been struggling with, well just the opening, the rest I got.
For thousands of years the world was protected by the Twin Sisters, ancient Gods who wield powers beyond imagine, until a greedy King had them turned to stone. The Twin Sisters, thought to be immortal, are in fact mortal women chosen by Fate to keep the world safe from harm. With the power of the Twin Sisters trapped in stone, all hope for the world is lost. Two soldiers, refusing to believe there is no hope, travel the world to find the Eight Keys that are Destined to awaken the Twin Sisters and save the world.

Snowblazer A new story I've been struggling with, well just the opening, the rest I got. The Twin Sisters, thought to be immortal, are in fact mortal women chosen by Fate to keep the world safe from harm. With the power of the Twin Sisters trapped in stone, all hope for the world is lost. Two soldiers, refusing to believe there is no hope, travel the world to find the Eight Keys that are Destined to awaken the Twin Sisters and save the world. It sounds cool so far, but I think you're revealing too much from the get go! It's interesting that the sisters aren't actually goddesses, but that should be revealed later. It's your "what a twist!" moment! I hope there are epic battles with beasts protecting the eight keys. The Key Guards, if you will! That would be epic... and redundant. EPIC! I love that word :B

“You must find the twin sisters. They are the weapon to salvation.”
“Where can find them Oracle?”
Her eyes enter a blank stare as she witnesses a vision, “In a realm only the purest of hearts can open”
“Well I’m screwed.” He whispered.
“How do we get to the realm?” She asked quickly while the Oracle was still under.
“Find them. Together they will open the door to your Destiny.”
“Them? Who are Them?”
“They.” She corrected him.
“Don’t tell me how to speak,” he hissed before the Oracle continued.
“Them, They. The Eight who hold the keys. The Forgotten Prince, The Fallen Queen, The Blind Seer, The Honest Thief, The Shattered Man of Steel, The Powerless Wizard, The Condemned Hero, The Girl from another world. Gather the Eight Keys and the road to salvation shall open.” Light returned to her eyes, a smile blossomed across her lips.
“Oracle, we swear to find the Eight Keys. We will bring hope back to the Kingdom. Those who use magic will be free to live once again.”
“I can see two futures. One where you win and one where you lose. I pray the latter does not come to fruition."
