[General Information]
Name: Lance Dulac
Nicknames: Lancelot, which he finds ironic. Lancelot was one of King Arthur's most trusted knights. However, he did betray Arthur in the end, so perhaps it is rather fitting.
Titles: Brenin O Dywyllwch (King of Darkness), Mordred
Age: 22
Birthday: August 13th, 1991
Star Sign: Leo
Gender: Male
Race: Human, with demon traits.
Moral Alignment: He may look like a good guy, but he's evil. Very evil.
[Personal Information]
Occupation: Villain. What else is there to do?
Sexuality: Heterosexual/Straight
Likes: Evie/Arturia, himself, power, darkness, a challenge
Dreams: All he wants is to rule over an empire of pure darkness, with Arturia at his side. Of course, he'll probably have to break her, first....
Dislikes: Weakness, those he considers weaker or below him, those who oppose him (usually), taking orders, anyone who tries to keep Evie from him
Fears: Losing Evie, losing power/control
Darkest Secret: He would like to get rid of Morgan Le Fay, because of her attempts to harm or kill Evie. Also, she's in his way of gaining total control. But he won't, because she's much too powerful for him to take on now. Besides, he needs her to help him with weakening a certain woman's resolve.
Favourite Food: Steak, served rare.
Favourite Drink: Fine wines, alcohol in general
Least Favourite Food: Potato chips
Least Favourite Drink: Prune juice. Seriously, what moron discovered that stuff.
Loyalties: Himself, the forces of darkness, Morgan le Fay
Intelligence Level: Above Average
Dominant Hand: Right-handed
Strengths: Stealth, intimidation, manipulating people
Weaknesses: Holy objects, shadestones, Evie/Arturia
Cherished Items:
Clarent: Originally a sword of peace, used for knighting and ceremonies, but was stolen and used by Mordred to kill King Arthur. Mordred's soul, filled with demon-like hate, corrupted the blade, making it demonic in nature. It was blessed by Samahin (also referred to as Samhain), the Celtic god of darkness, after these events. It is strangely resistant to holy influence, due to a single gem infused with light set in the pommel. Sometimes known as the Coward's Blade. He hates it when people call it that, though.
Philosophical/Social Viewpoint: Most people are simply stepping stones to his rightful place as ruler of this miserable world. Some of them are special, though.
Religious Viewpoint: Technically, he identifies as a Wiccan. He isn't openly religious, and even if you ask about it, he probably won't say much.
Romantic Viewpoint: There's only one woman he wants, and he'll do almost anything to claim her as his own, even if he has to kill someone to do it. He wants a strong-willed woman with good judgement, sound reasoning, and intelligence. Someone worthy of being his queen.
Personality
Lance is bold and cocky, even arrogant. He believes that he is the best, and deserves no less than the very best in anything. He will openly insult his opponents, pressing every single advantage so that he can to ensure his victory. He generally acts unfeeling and calculating, but he is actually very good at sensing changes in other people's emotions, which he will then act upon accordingly. Opponent is scared? Let's make him even more afraid, to the point where he can't fight at all. Ally is unsure, or having doubts? Time for a motivational speech. He is also incredibly manipulative and power-hungry, often playing with people's emotions to get them to do what he wants and bring him closer to his goals. He even enjoys this, making him seem a bit sadistic.
He is definitely talented with the ladies, but he rarely shows this, often acting cold and callous towards them to show that he isn't interested. However, if it's Evie... Prepare to help her (and any other female in the area) clean up her nosebleed. Lance can be very charming, suave, and incredibly sensual and seductive when he wants to.
Biography
Lance has always been a bit of a bad kid. He always got into trouble, starting fights, picking on other kids, and being a pretentious little p***k in general. He could always get away with it, too, thanks to his charisma, which he learned to use at an early age. It only got worse as he grew older, progressing to theft and other minor crimes, like speeding and vandalism. But, just like when he was younger, he always managed to get away with it, either by using that silver tongue of his, or just plain outrunning the cops. It was while he was doing just that that he met Morgan Le Fay.
He was running from the cops, as per usual, but they were definitely closer than he would have liked, so he made a quick turn into an alley and ducked into the first open door he saw, shutting it behind him. The door turned out to be the entrance to a strange shop that looked like something straight out of a Harry Potter book. Archaic books and scrolls sat on tables and bookshelves. Crystal balls, polished stones, and other such things lay strewn about the store in bins, on tables, everywhere. There were even a few weapons up in display cases. But there was one particular item that caught his eye. It was a sword. It seemed so familiar, but he knew that he had never laid eyes on it before. The cops forgotten, he approached it as if in a trance, carefully picking it up. The hilt fit perfectly into his palm, the weight and length was perfect for him.... He knew this sword somehow.
It was then that a woman appeared behind him, seemingly out of thin air, and asked if he had taken interest in the blade, smiling knowingly as he told her that the sword seemed familiar to him. It was then that she told him that the sword, called Clarent, had actually belonged to him in a past life, and introduced herself as the infamous Morgan Le Fay of legend. At first, he didn't believe her, but after she demonstrated her magic, he was pretty convinced. She revealed that he was actually the reincarnation of Mordred, and was destined to once again be the downfall of the new Arthur, a heroine by the name of Queen Arturia, but as a civilian was known as Evie Sinclair. Already a villain at heart, Lance accepted the role with relish, eagerly diving into the training that Morgan put him through. He learned at an incredibly rapid pace, and was ready within the next year, receiving a suit of armor that had been forged with dark magic and a few weapons. He was ready to fulfill his destiny as the downfall of Arturia.

○ Evie Sinclair | Good | Light vs Darkness
Technically, they are enemies. After all, he is basically Morgan le Fay's counter to Merlin's "creation" of the hero Arturia. He is the Mordred to Evie's Arthur, trained and shaped for the sole purpose of her defeat, designed to be her downfall. He will defeat her someday, and when he does, he has every intention to drag her down into the darkness with him....

Romantic Relationships:
○ Evie Sinclair | Good | One-Sided Obsession
Lance knew the moment that he saw her that she would be a perfect queen. Her regal stature, commanding tone, and a determined look in her eyes that says, "don't underestimate me"... she has an air of confidence that Lance simply cannot ignore. She stands firm in her decisions, showing incredible strength, physically and mentally. Still, she has this emotional vulnerability, an innocence that makes him just want to steal her away and ravish her with affection. He especially loves when she looks confused and distressed, because that's when she is most vulnerable, and most likely to cling to him and do what he wants. He is absolutely smitten, and he is determined to have her, even if it is the last thing he does. She can refuse him all she wants; he'll make her come to her senses sooner or later....
[Weapon Information]
○ Clarent (Sword): Originally a sword of peace, used for knighting and ceremonies, but was stolen and used by Mordred to kill King Arthur.
○ Rhongomiant (Spear): Spear that originally belonged to King Arthur, but was stolen by Morgan Le Fay after his death. It has been magically enhanced to be more durable, able to pierce through even mithril armor, possibly even dragonscale, if hit hard enough.
○ Kusari-fundo (Manriki Chain): This chain weapon moves and grows (or shortens) in length according to Lance's will. He often uses this to disarm or immobilize his opponents. Like Rhongomiant, this weapon has also been magically enhanced, making it stronger and more durable.
○ Hand Crossbow: This fits in his hand like a handgun would. He carries this around at all times, along with a bag of 25 crossbow bolts. The majority of them are ordinary, but he has a few tipped with candlestone, a few tranquilizer bolts, some explosive, etc.
[Ability Information]
○ Shadow Manipulation: The ability to bend the shadows to one's will, literally the manipulation of shadows.
- Shadow Shaping: Lance can stretch, shrink, or otherwise adjust the shape of a shadow to fit his needs. He often will manipulate shadows to restrain people, wrapping them around the person like a solid rope or cord.
- Shadow Walking: Lance can quite literally melt into the shadows and use them like a portal, transporting himself, other people, and objects through them. One of his favorite methods of attack is to hide in his opponent's shadow and leap out when they least expect it, striking while their defenses are down. He tends to only do this at the very beginning of a fight, though, since the opponent would be aware of such a tactic after he uses it once.
○ Limited Regeneration: Lance's demonic side will heal most injuries in a matter of minutes. Larger wounds may take a few hours, but unless it is extremely severe, such as the loss of a limb or worse, it will heal.
○ Aura Strike/Blast: Like Evie, Lance can channel his aura energy into his sword, Clarent, which amplifies it and sends it back. By repeating this again and again, Lance can generate an incredibly powerful aura attack.
○ Divine Darkness: Lance calls upon the power of Samahin, engulfing his sword, Clarent, in a dark energy, visible in the form of a bloody crimson "light" emitting from the blade. In this state, the sword's touch can cause pain and increase emotional turmoil within the victim, who would likely fall into despair and doubt, and most likely lose the will to fight.
The following abilities are due to his demon traits. Because he dominates over his demon side, his demon traits could be called upon even when he isn't wearing his armor, though he can still pass as a perfectly normal human. But whenever he feels the need, he can simply tap into them. Though he may also subconsciously tap into them in a fit of rage.
○ Demon Strength: His armor gives him the strength of a demon. While nowhere near as powerful as Superboy or Wonder Boy, he can still be a formidable force, and can easily beat Evie in a contest of strength. His strength has been estimated to about 20 tons, or approximately 2 1/2 elephants.
○ Demon Defense: Lance's armor is nearly impenetrable, and will protect him from bullets, swords, arrows, etc. Unless it is reinforced with some form of magic (not dark magic) or energy, it probably won't hurt him.
○ Demon Senses: His senses are greatly enhanced yet as a bonus, he is granted Aural Perception. The ability to detect the auras of living things and to read the content of the aura; this ability allows one to discern the level of a subject’s emotions (and emotional instability), intentions, if someone is possessed and the presence of empathic links (as well as being able to identify subjects by their auras).
○ Anger Empowerment: Lance becomes stronger, faster, more durable, etc. through anger, rage, hatred, and vengeance whether his own or that of others, possibly enhancing the existing powers by about 60%.
○ Demonic Aura: Lance can surround himself in wretched demonic energy. It is impressively destructive and more potent than regular auras, can infuse the dark elements to the object of choice as well as corrupt others with fear.
[Weakness Information]
○ Shadestones: Just as Evie is weakened by candlestones, Lance is weakened by their dark equivalent, shadestones.
○ Holy Energy/Light Magic: His sword may be immune to the forces of light, but Lance himself is not. Crosses, rosaries, and things like that won't bother him in the slightest, and holy water is a bit of a joke, but actual energy can mess him up, big time. Where Evie feels cold when exposed to darkness, Lance feels hot when exposed to holiness or light magic. He'll feel overheated and his skin will feel feverish to the touch, and stronger sources can make him feel dizzy. Being exposed to it for too long can result in collapse.
○ Evie Sinclair/Arturia: He would never kill Evie, or leave/put her in a situation that would surely result in her death. This does not mean that he won't fight her, or that he won't injure her, but he will be careful to only land non-lethal strikes and hits that would temporarily disable her, such as blunt force to her pressure points. But if a person were to hold Evie hostage, Lance's hands would be tied. He will do everything possible to keep her alive.
