People see me as: Inconsistent. At first glance, he is sometimes aloof and stern, sometimes childlike and bratty. His micro-managing, detail oriented approach to new things is off-putting, but once one gets to know him they find he's rather blase` about most everything. My History: Benjamin was born and raised in Grangemouth, Scotland to a comfortably middle class family. His magical nature was a source of great contention to his father's side of the family, who are stalwart Christians, and believed his accidental magic to be a sign of demonic possession. His parents, who held a lesser degree of faith in the Christian religion, eventually chose to obtain restraining orders from his paternal grandparents and aunts, as their repeated attempts to exorcise him were causing him great distress. As a result of their increasingly desperate exorcisms, however, Benjamin was singled out by quite a few strange rumors, which led him to hold a very skeptical view of hearsay. His acceptance into Hogwarts (or, more likely, the explanations that naturally came with it) was a great relief for his parents and brother.
