Chloe's four bedroom, three bathroom cottage. Though it has a reputation for odd happenings (faucets turning on by themselves, doors opening and closing on their own, items going missing only to reappear later.), Chloe loves it. It's very cozy. Rooms include Chloe's bedroom, three extra rooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, family room, study and basement, and a very small attic.

Kasie could do this. She could totally do this! She spent hours psyching herself up prior to approaching this Chloe person’s house. After all, she was going to try to apply to be this person’s roommate! Sure, she could have continued the rent fee at her own house, but personally, she would have prefered to share company rather than be in a nearly empty house.
“Excuse me, is anyone home?” Was it just her, or did she just hear something hiss out a yes. It was probably just the wind. After all, it was just a hypothetical question that she was pretty sure that no one could actually hear. She shrugged it off and went on to continue ringing the doorbell.

Chloe had just finished hanging up some nice draperies in one of her guest bedrooms when someone rang the doorbell. She was actually really glad because she was utterly exhausted and her arms were already aching and she would almost definitely be regretting today's bout of interior decorating by tomorrow. But she supposed that, in the mean time, at least the house was beginning to look like someone lived here--someone besides ghosts anyway. Because she was almost certain it was haunted. Not that she minded, of course. If no one applied to her add, it would be nice to have the company. But for now, she simply climbed down from the step stool and hurried to the door, not even bothering to check through the peep hole to see who it was. She was surprised to see a rather young looking female standing there, but Chloe simply smiled pleasantly. "Hello there, can I help you with something?" The girl had a nice face and was giving off a very friendly vibe. Perhaps she was here to answer the ad--Chloe had the instant feeling they would make great housemates. Then again, perhaps that was just desperation.

“Oh! Hi there. I’m Kasie Harper, and yes, I’d very much appreciate your help. Well, it’s only if you really want to help, but if you don’t want to, then I completely understand. Haha, anyway, you’re Miss Yadav right? Or Mrs.? Maybe even Mr.? I’m not really good with titles per say, so if you wouldn’t mind, would it be okay if I could call you Chloe? I mean, that is your name right? You are her or him or them?”
Kasie paused in order for her brain to catch up to what she had just blurted out. When she caught herself back up to speed, she corrected herself with a sheepish grin.
“Sorry about that. I’m just a bit nervous because this is kind of my first time trying to do one of these requests things. I saw in the ads that you were looking for a roommate, so I was hoping that I could snag up one of those rooms. I mean, not literally snag things anyway because that would be really bad if I suddenly turned to theft, which I’m not by the way. But yes, I was hoping that I could talk to you about that request? Well, if you are indeed Chloe Yadav… Or if this is even the right house. If that’s so, I’m really sorry for the inconvenience!”
It hadn’t even occurred to Kasie that she might have indeed gotten the wrong house until after her long introduction. Whoopsie! She mentally crossed her fingers for that to not be the case.

Chloe blinked, amused by the veritable tidal wave of words that followed her question. "Chloe's fine," she said, stepping back and pushing the door open so Kasie could enter. "Why don't you come in and we can discuss it further?" Chloe hadn't exactly been planning on such a young house mate, but there was nothing wrong with youth. And at least with Kasie, it didn't seem like there would be any quiet moments. "You seem a bit young to be moving out on your own," she said, moving aside. "Are your parents not concerned with the idea of you moving in with a stranger?"It might be a bit rude to assume she was still under her parents' roof, but she did seem so very young.
