Welcome all to generation four. This isn't your mom and dad’s Narutoverse, this is the Narutoverse with a front row seat to a gamma radiation bomb. Generation four takes place three hundred of the aftermath of generation two. No one in present memory can accurately recall the details that transpired. All that can be said for certain is that there was an explosion of unfathomable power that rain living hell upon the land changing the very nature and understanding of the shinobi world. The destruction changed the landscape, creating the Chakra Blight. Fields and pockets of irradiated chakra “dead zones” are strewn about the land, quite literally draining the chakra from every living thing.
From this havoc, many of the old bloodlines died out and were long lost to the tragedies of history. But from the ashes like the phoenix, new blood lines emerged like the world had never seen previously before. Natural selection is everything, and adaptation is the currency of this harsh and cruel realm. Survival of the fittest, and in this land it doesn't take much to become incapable of lasting. Life is hard for the inhabitants of the new land, some say nearly impossible. New clans are born seemingly every day while others vanish within cold and dark embrace of the night. With the absence of the bijuu for the last three hundred years, nightmarish abominations, hellish flora and fauna and other bizarre aberrations have sprung up to try and claim the vacant space at the top of the food chain.
So, up and coming shinobi product of the unnatural evolution created to give you a chance to survive in this world? Think you can make the cut, or will you be cut by someone else? This will be hard, and you may have to create a back-up character to fill in the shoes of one has fallen. Creativity is encouraged and above all remember to have fun and good luck….
