Huge very long story but since I have the time...
I got into J-rock while playing Final Fantasy Dirge of Cerberus at the end when I heard Redemption by Gackt I immediately fell in love with his music. So I listend to a lot of him then I got into Malice Mizer. Bought Moon Child got into Hyde's music then L'Arc~en~ciel. I browsed the j-music forums in the Japanese Student Guild on my other account met some friends that got me into other bands like Orange Range ect. Went on vacation met a boy that was sitting in the shade on the beach in a sleeved shirt and jeans in 110 degree weather. I was bored so I walked over talked to him about his choice of clothes he commented on how I was doing the same in all black >_< Asked what he was listening to he said I wouldn't get it. But forced it out of him he said Miyavi explaining that it was type of Japanese music that I probably wouldn't like cause I quote on quote "was like everyone else who listens to Fergie" So I totally exploded on him saying I love J-music and that I really needed to hear what he was listening to. He smiled handing over his mp3 listened to the songs thoroughly amazed by Miyavi. Hung out every day with him till the end of vacation talking/listening to Miyavi and what not. So I really have to give props to him he was awesome and I thank him every time I listen to some of Meev's songs heart
