I know I shared it on FB, but I'll tell it here.
So a few weeks ago, I was working the overnight shift in Drive-Thru and I had a customer order his food. Things were going all normal and whatnot. His total was only like $7.35 or something like that.
He got to the window and I saw him try to stealthily make his hand into a gun shape and placed it under his jacket and said "Give me my food now. This ain't a joke. Give me my food, I ain't paying."
and since I saw him do it, I was like "Really dude? You have to pay for your food first."
"Nah dawg, you best give me my food. NOW. I will do it."
"No dude, you need to pay up first. Give me your money or you aint getting anything. I will call the Police and you can leave with nothing. How do you wanna do this?"
He ended up paying for his food. He was trying to impress the two girls in the car with him and they ended up laughing at him. Since he paid, I didn't call the Police. I talked to our GM a couple of days later, and she told me that even if people like that pay for their food, still call the Police anyways just to be safe. Plus she said that any customer who treats us poorly at night time, to call the police on because she doesn't want customers at night that are like that.
SO yeah. Interesting experience.
Our Asst. GM was like "Andrew. I am proud of you."
I broke procedure though. As soon as someone threatens us, we're automatically supposed to give them whatever they want and cooperate. However, I did the opposite and got praised for it. Crazy.
