Slash slowly approached the Love God's grounds. The atmosphere was much different than the fire and brimstone he had grown to called his home. It was almost too different, unnatural, if you will, to the Hellhound. Still he had to admit if it weren't for the concept of Love, he would have never fallen for his Goddess, and in turn never had his two sons whom he loved and cared for deeply. He had some respect for Syrridan. "Hello? Is Lord Syrridan here? I come on behalf of my Goddess, Hexynia, to speak about the matters at hand with the Cursed." He spoke calmly yet with confidence.

Syrridan was alerted to a new Pockettu in the grounds and made his way to where they were last seen. He was told that their visitor could be a follower of a different god. This had made the love god quite curious.
Approaching the area and spotting the visitor, he slowly approached. "Greetings. I welcome you to my humble temple." He greeted as he stopped a short distance in front of the newcomer. "Matters of the Cursed? I am quite anxious to hear what you have to say, they have been an unfortunate nuisance as of late."

Slash bowed before Syrridan as he made his appearance. "Forgive me, where are my manners? The name's Slash." He nodded before pausing. "Yes, the Cursed. Lately their Gods have appeared and I fear it will be growing troublesome. Word has it they have the ability to convert followers to their cause. Has anything like that affected you?" He knew it happened to their ally, Venezia. Quite a few carnies went missing. He didn't know what happened but when he spoke briefly to a carny here or there he got the feeling it wasn't good.

Syrridan bowed in return to the others greeting. "It is quite a pleasure to meet you Slash." He replied warmly despite the reason for the visit. When Slash continued, he listened intently, a frown finally showing when he mentioned that new, Cursed gods have shown and followers have gone missing. "My, that is most unpleasant news." He rubbed his chin lightly as he attempted to recollect if anything of that nature had happened. "Well, I have realized one of my followers have gone missing, and not too long after I accepted him into the temple too."

"So the Carnival God was not the only affected I see...", Slash frowned a bit as his arms crossed across his chest. "I cannot help but wonder if they are targeting certain Gods?" He questioned openly as he gazed towards Syrridan. At the time this all occurred, Syrridan was relatively new to being awakened after what Slash presumed was a long slumber. The other gods such as Venezia or Antarmurr'ss were around for much longer and had a larger following. They would be seen as threats and of course would be taken out. It puzzled him. "You seem like a peaceful God... I do not get why they would target you. Or..." It dawned on him. Well a possible answer. He unfolded his arms. "Do you think they could have been trying to bait you into the war?"

"Targeting certain gods? Hmm... well, if they are truly working together, it would be a wise tactic... especially if it causes confusion and detesting among the gods." Syrridan replied, tapping his chin lightly. When Slash had questioned why the Cursed and their gods would attack someone like himself, then come to a possible realization, he tilted his head. "Bait me into the war? Hmm... well, since I do not know much of these gods, I cannot say if it would be too farfetched of a possibility. I have taken a part of the war to lend to the healing, but..." He tsked, a small, disapproving frown forming on his face, "but, despite my warnings, I am quite afraid my son has been participating in battles."

"I mean no disrespect but sometimes a warrior lies in the most passive of hearts." Slash spoke in regards to Syrridan's son. While it was surprising to hear the God of Love's son wished to fight at the same it wasn't too far-fetched. He gave a small smile before nodding his head and continued to get back on track. "I have visited the Alien God, Tyche. My Goddess wished me to tell you and any others I may cross paths with of what knowledge I was given." He paused. "It makes me feel that hiding or sitting on the sidelines is not a safe bet. The Cursed Gods as I was told were once like My Goddess and you, Lord Syrridan. Not Cursed nor shunned like a plague." The hellhound paused for a moment. "It's hard for me to even fathom still... In fact it makes my skin crawl. But something occurred and they were exiled from the plain of the Gods. They let their hatred overtake them and now seek to destroy all we love and know. While they were wronged, I fear what they are doing is much worse. Instead of trying to redeem themselves they are digging their own graves deeper. I believe.... they need to be stopped to put them out of their misery as words won't reach their ears."

Syrridan just nodded and sighed when Slash had told him that sometimes warriors resided in passive hearts. His son was another matter though and was not important for this current time. With that, he listened intently to the information that his visitor had received from the Extraterrestrial god. The Cursed gods were previously like them? It was an interesting thought, but, time is known to repeat itself. When it was said that they should be put out of their misery, the love god frowned deeply. He did not enjoy the thought, but, could there be any other possibilities to do if they do not wish to listen. He sighed, pushing some of his bangs from his eyes. "I see. That is a lot to take in. Has there been any attempt yet to go about seeing to their unfortunate demise, or are stages still in their planning phases?"

"We need more than one God to assist if we are to even hold some what of a chance..." He honestly at times didn't think they stood a chance. At the tail end of the recent war, the Gods were so divided it was ridiculous. Almost impossible to patch the bonds broken... if there were any to begin with. He sighed and shifted his feet a bit. "I am not going to lie to you, Lord Syrridan. What ever path we take will not be easy. For any of us. Choose to sit idly makes you a prime target to be ambushed. Choose to fight you will be out there in the fray. Choose to defend you risk just as much loss as if you fight." Rubbing the side of his face, Slash gave a faint groan. "It is a problem that will not remedy itself... But I have given you the information needed for you to better make your choices." He bowed a bit.

He remembered the war he had joined in, having only wished to heal those who were foolish enough to want to fight and further increase the hatred among the gods and their followers. The decision of what to do was a hard one, but, it was something he had to make and then act upon. With a nod, he smiled warmly to Slash as if the terrible news was not received and bowed gracefully to him. "I greatly appreciate your visit and your warning words. I will take them to heart."
