Personality: Angst likes to pretend he strong but he's actually quite chickeny... He is always up all night on his laptop, doing online stuff... And occasionally he falls asleep during the day. He likes to try to defend others, but as soon as they're "Safely" around the corner, he bolts. He always wears two large shirts since he has Vestiphobia targeting tight clothes.
Bio: Angst is a shy and nervous kid who wants to be considered tough and brave. Part of what got him into this mind set was that since he's kind of small for a kid he has gotten picked on a lot. His sister, Yanako, came and shooed bullies away, and it made him a little embarrassed for being such a weakling and that's part of why she teases and picks on him now. Because of that, after a while he tried to be tough but realized he was just too jumpy and frail to be one of the tough guys in school.
One day in middle school, he saw the computer club had a poster up and kind of laughed to himself, thinking that only a group of weak little nerdlings would gather there, so for fun her showed up seeing if he could at least get a laugh at some of the kids there and make himself feel a little better. When he got to the club, he found out that what they were doing was actually pretty interesting, and the more he talked to them the more he realized he wanted to know more about programming and such. After his first meeting, he went to the library on his way home from school, checked out a couple of books on simple programming, and took them home. Within a few days he had down the basics of computer programming and hacking and within a few weeks he was designing web pages and creating his own programs, imaging software, AI, ect. Essentially, he began locking himself in his room more frequently and staying up at all hours of the night to make the programs. His grades dropped slightly, and he frequently got into trouble with his teachers for occasionally dozing off in class, but since he never did anything bad or picked fights with anyone he managed to stay out of trouble for the most part.
Yanako still picks on him for being so small, but mostly because she knows that it isn't healthy for him to be locking himself away from people all the time and wants to try getting her brother to go outside since clearly a bunch of people admire his work and talk about him all the time online and in school.
When he received a letter in the mail from Hope's Peak Academy, he was a little surprised and even confused. He personally hadn't thought his programming skills were that great, so he went out to go tell some of the people that he had gotten close to and considered friends. When he told them, they were all excited for him and even pointed out that it had to be for his skills with a computer. Doubting this, he still agreed to go to the school, figuring that maybe if he wasn't that great at computer stuff now that he could get better... Or even try to find something else to do instead of just hacking databases and designing new websites.
