It's a shining grin full of hope...

So, as many of you have probably seen by the recent Staff Alert [or if not, you're now reading it here], Gaia has plans of implementing a "long desired" marital status option as opposed to the standard "mutual friendship" and "no relationship" options.
I'm curious as to what thoughts you all have on the subject. I know well that some might benefit or be interested, while others may seem to find it completely redundant and perhaps doing more bad than good, but I'm interested on what people have to say.

... Or it could be a look of somber silence struggling with fear...

I can't say I've heard of the idea until now.
I can say I feel troubled that Guilds 2.0 was ignored outright due to the new CEO if the word is true, hence why all the gold shops are being further ignored.

Nice for people who are actually married or dating IRL I guess if they want an actual relationship status...but just another stupid gold trap otherwise...it should be free honestly...especially if it's a relationship status thing.

I'm gaia married to my irl best friend because why not...but I think it's stupid when people who are just online dating or whatever take it all seriously

yeah :/ I really dont understand why people try to find actual partners on Gaia..its NOT a site for that...there are so many great dating sites and platforms out there, why use Gaia? I mean hell half the time you use a site based on avatars and art and try to date on it your partner is totally ebay item not as pictured anyhow xD
