Hey gals and pals, what shows have you been to that you'll always remember? Got any concerts coming up you're excited about? I've been to a few good shows in my day. Nothing for a long time, tho! BUT next month my sister and I going to see The National and I'm super pumped! Frightened Rabbit are opening for them, too. blaugh

The summer before my senior year of high school my dad took me to see Rush, a band that he introduced me to at a very young age. The concert was amazing, and I would kill to go and see them again. The drum solo by Neil Peart is still one of the most fantastic things I've ever seen.

Have fun! I saw them (The National) a few weeks ago at a record store appearance.
I've been to quite a few shows as well. My top few though are pretty hard to pick apart. On one hand there's the time I took my father to see Rush in Philly, or the entirety of Bonnaroo 2009, but then again that one time I saw Deadmau5 at merriweather post. It just goes on and on. @_@
I have two shows coming up actually. The first is Virgin Mobile Freefest, and even though I only like maybe 4 of the acts I've always had fun in years past. Then I'm going to go see the Zelda Symphony Orchestra in New York for my birthday.

Who are you most looking forward to seeing? Well the artists going that I know of would be: The Avett Brothers, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, and chvrches.... I would say that Vampire Weekend and MGMT tie for my "most excited for" spot. I've seen MGMT live before, but I was way back in the crowd. I would like to see Madeon too, but only if it does not conflict with any of the other bands I want to watch.
