Mila was born supposedly as a replacement for her older sister, Hollyn, who had been killed tragically by her brother's ex girlfriend for unknown reasons. The Storms were devasted and decided to have another daughter. However, Mila's powers were much more than her parents expected and she was always under watch so as not to blow up the entire city. However, once her grandfather, Death Storm, discovered she had the power to manipulate weather, he took her under his care by force.
Mila was trained hard and went through hell at the hands of her grandfather, a cruel pureblooded vampire who had shunned his own son because he wasn't a pureblood. When it was revealed to him that Mila would never be able to control her powers because they were linked to her emotions, he proceeded to have her killed. However, Mila's uncle, Hail, stepped in to stop Mila's young death. In order to save her life, the two would have to be married.
Despite loving someone else, both Mila and Hail were able to get along and before either of them knew it, they began to develop legitimate feelings for the other.

She bares the curse of her elders, and because of this has to wear contacts or glasses. Mila will cover her eyes and avoid looking at people if her glasses fall off. She will never tell anyone the reason behind it but knows something bad will happen if she does.
Mila is under a blood contract with her grand father, and at any given time of disobedience, her body can turn against her.

The user can sense, create and control meteorological patterns, creating rain, wind, hail, lightning, snow, sleet, fog and temperature changes.
This includes the ability to generate various natural phenomena or control the intensity of the weather in highly concentrated (inside room) or vastly extended (continental) areas.
-Power is emotion-based, and therefore it becomes unstable if user gets emotional.
-Can only control water/ice/cold based. i.e. rain, hail, snow, etc.
-Requires an atmosphere as a medium i.e. air and space.
-May not be able to control the weather after they cause the effects to manifest.
