Yet another case of a girl letting silly morals get in the way of enjoying herself. Chrysanthemum sighed as she the Triggs household, stopping herself on the windowsill and being careful not to get her feet wet in the snow there as she went through the window. To her surprise, Hyacinth hadn't arrived yet! How strange that she would be the first to show, but she supposed it was only right that the best fairy was doing the best job. She smiled as she went to Vi Triggs room, finding her nightstand so she could set a small bottle in the loose shape of a ferret there. Inside was a lovely perfume, heavy and intoxicating, as most of what Chrysanthemum did was. She supposed the girl could use it to finally force her way towards her goals – in fact, she had better use it to do just that! Chrysanthemum was tired of watching pathetically helpless mortals doing nothing but whine about their lack of success! She would have kicked the sleeping Vi, but she had work to do, so she refrained and simply left the residence.

Now she had to gift Ed, urgh. Hyacinth felt a flicker of frustration as she appeared in the boy's room and looked at the sleeping man. This one was worse than Quentin, but at least he didn't gamble like the other man did, which was some bonus points, she supposed. But what exactly had he been doing with his life? Nothing but the lazy work of a librarian! All that knowledge, gone to waste because of a sheer lack of motivation! Still, he was working, even if it didn't seem to have a point to it. So, she left a jar of fireflies on his nightstand as well, pausing only to bid farewell to her dear, diligent friends. The lightning bugs would hopefully inspire the man into working harder, just as her little friends did. She disappeared from the room to continue on with her list – hopefully, someone more successful would be next to cheer her up.
