It has been over five years now that I have realised my spiritual side. But I have not done much to expand myself since then. I have these books at my disposal.

Be a Goddess!: A Guide to Celtic Spells and Wisdom for Self-Healing, Prosperity and Great Sex
by Francesca de Grandis

The Hedge Witch's Way: Magical Spirituality for the Lone Spellcaster
by Rae Beth

Paganism: An Introduction to Earth-centered Religions
by River Higginbotham, Joyce Higginbotham

Handfasting and Wedding Rituals: Welcoming Hera's Blessing
by Raven Kaldera, Tannin Schwartzstein (This was bought for the wedding we were planning)

And while I found all of these books interesting. Their main key in all of them, is Wicca. And I don't know if that truly is the path for me. Nor have I found them extremely helpful for someone as lost as me.

Any suggestions as to how I should expand my path? How did you start off?

I don't think any of those books are about Wicca. The Higginbothams try at a more general introduction. Is there anything they mention in there that you find intriguing? They have a second volume called Pagan Spirituality that might be of more help.

Raven and Tannin's book is about Wicca? I must have missed that (granted I didn't get to read past the second chapter before I had to return it. Zane's mom started getting all weird thinking we were starting to plan our wedding and we're not even engaged). But as far as I read I don't recalling it bringing that up at all.

You may want to pick up books by Jaq D Hawkins, she's a Cornish ceremonial magician and her work is a very good read so that will give you insight into that side of things

I've got the Druidry Handbook by John Michael Greer, it's an interesting read on Druidry so again you will get an insight to that side of things

Hmmm for books relational to Scandinavian and Anglo Saxon heathenry look up Alaric Albertson, Brian Bates, Freya Aswynn, Diana Paxson, Kveldulf Gundarsson Edred Thorsson, also a book called Galdrbok (can't remember the author).

Sirona Knight has an interesting book about Faery Magick, it's not my cup of tea but if you want to look at the faery traditions it might be worth picking up.

Konstaninous and Raven Digitalis have some 'amusing books' dealing with 'shadow magic'.

Also Raven Kaldera's books I've always associated with a cross over between BDSM and various pagan paths, espeically his book Dark Moon Rising.

My bad. I worded it wrong. Not all of the books that I own are hinting at Wicca (i.e. "Handfasting and Wedding Rituals" or "Paganism: an Introduction"). However, while introducing parts from other paths, the books that I have looked up on Amazon by myself always seem to mainly reference Wicca. Which was the point I wanted to get across originally.

Vax_Draconis, thank you. I will be sure to look all of those up!

Do you have any ideas exactly what you are seeking?

Aglo I
Any suggestions as to how I should expand my path?
Personally that depends. Do you have a specific culture or practice you are drawn to? Are you looking for a religion or a spiritual path? Do you have any idea as to what some of your base beliefs are?
Aglo I
How did you start off?
I answered the questions I just asked you and more. Through answering those questions and questions like those a few times a year I am able to make sure I am on track of what I am looking for and where my searches are leading me.
