One day, they happened to roam into Silver City and stopped a few berserking students from destroying more than a tenth of the city. After witnessing their skill, they were offered positions of Guardians. Seeing that they would be given a place to live, food to eat, proper facilities for grooming and some degree of education along with the resources to learn even more, and all for free no less, the duo decided to accept the offer. They have now been at it for six years and have found they are rather good at their new jobs.
