 Gregory Shultz
"I don't mind, haven't had this sort of cuisine in a while and if you enjoy cooking you should look into a culinary school while you decide what you want to do and where you want to go," Greg replied since he did tell Silas the previous day that he could stay here so long as he went to school. He looked down at the pup and tilted his head slightly before eating a bit of the fruit. Shrugging he looked back at Silas.
"Don't know, I had him for three days so far. A woman decided that I needed a puppy and so she gave him to me and left. Pretty much abandoning the thing with me but nonetheless he does keep me company. Feel free to name him if you want. Since I'm barely home I don't pay much attention to him often to I'm sure you'll come to like your company." He then went in to try the actual food and was surprised that it was very good.
"So is cooking this food a hobby or are you part Japanese as well? Though something tells me the second part is right," He smiled slightly before going back to his meal.

 Silas Cooper Foxxe
Silas nodded slowly when the idea for culinary school was brought up, mainly because he hadn't even thought about what he wanted to do or where to go yet. "Uh...yeah" He murmured, before he looked down at the puppy, scanning over the fluffy little thing with emerald jewels. "I'll...think on it." He stated, meaning he would think of a name for the little puppy. He already had a list going on in his mind and thus he turned his attention back to eating his food before it got cold. He also took note that Greg was hardly home, which made sense since the man was a doctor and all. He brought his gaze up quickly this time, surprised by the sudden interest in his culinary skills....as well as the interest in his heritage.
Clearing his throat softly he placed his fork down and shifted in his chair, a bit uncomfortable talking about it but he supposed he owed it to the other to be honest. "I was born and raised in Hokkaido. My father's a business man and he married Yuk-... My mother. After a few years in Japan they decided to move here and...well here I am." he muttered, cursing himself for slipping up and using his mothers real name. He never called her mother, it just wasn't something that seemed natural to him. She was simply the woman who birthed him into this world and that was it, plain and simple.
Unaware of the fact that he had suddenly become rather rigid and his bright eyes had become cloudy with tension, he turned his attention to his food once more. Once he was done he waited until Greg was done before taking the plates to the sink and washing them. He remained there even after finishing his task, letting himself calm down before he turned back to Greg with a slightly uneasy smile. "Cooking is a hobby among many things." He added, finishing off the question that had been asked.
